I've had a few issues here but my last 2 visits have been horrible. I purposely booked an appointment with a specific person because they had great reviews and I was tired of imperfect manicures. I arrived and my appointment was with someone else? I asked her for pink to white ombre nails. She was very confused. Told me the pink i chose was wrong for french tips which wasnt the design i asked for. She seemed confused, walked away, and then someone else took me to their station? I explained to her what I wanted. She started my dip and start to put the pink where the white was supposed to go so i corrected her. She fixed it and my manicure came out looking great which i appreciated. Until 5 days later when the top coat started peeling off my dip nails already. They looked super scuffed and milky so i called and the manager told me to come in anytime for them to fix them. Well i did and things got more weird. The lady who did my nails originially looked at them, buffed one nail, and then told me i needed to wait 20 minutes while she finished her client. I didnt have 20 minutes to wait to start so i asked the front desk if someone else could help. They said this lady would lose money and shed have to call her boss which she did. Then i felt horrible - the shop should help with that loss and not mention it to me. Finally someone else came and got me, fixed my nails. They look great and am hoping they hold up this time. She was super friendly and did an excellent job. Apparently she was planning to just file my nails down so they were started faster and the original lady would finish them she she'd be done soon. Well she wasn't done soon and wasn't even done by the time i left the salon. I'm just super unhappy with all of the confusion and awkwardness. Definitely will not be back. read more

This is a tough review to write but this is the 3rd visit where I feel like my services were rushed and I didn't walk out happy with the results. I think the experience could be great (it used to be!) but now it feels like it's quantity vs quality and they are just trying to get customers in and out. This time I made an appt for a manicure dip. I usually get dip, but I really wanted the full manicure experience this time. The front desk girl was confused and asked me twice if I made my appt with a specific tech, which I did. I also confirmed with her that I booked it correctly to include the full manicure treatment, but ultimately I didn't get it. No manicure at all, just a change in my dip. My tech was rushed, and I ended up with rough edges on a couple nails, bubbles in my gel polish and nail polish on my cuticles and skin making it look like a rough home job :-( except it was a hundred dollars. This tech has done a wonderful job in the past, which is why I booked her. I feel like the managers are maybe just really rushing them. Side note: every time I get ombré, the application process has been different making it a really inconsistent result. Anyway, after over a year of driving out to St Peter's to come to this salon, I'll be looking for a new one. read more

So, this is an extremely hard review to write. There were things that were great and things that were not great. First off, let me suggest making an appointment. It was packed, and I wasn't sure i would get the pedicure and eyebrow wax I was hoping to do before surgery. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes, which really wasn't terrible considering the amount of people. I decided on an upgraded pedicure, not the basic one, and the lady who did it was very nice and personable. However, I rather feel like I didn't get my full service at all. For example, it was supposed to come with a warm towel for my neck. I didn't get that. I also was totally rushed through it. Total time was maybe 20-25 minutes, which was fine for an express but NOT fine for a $90 pedicure. I found out later the woman who did mt service was getting off work immediately once she was done with me, so that's why it was sloppy. I'm so glad I decided on no nail polish! I tried to give them another shot, but there weren't many appointments that would've worked. I went in to see, and there was no way. Maybe I'll try them again. Maybe not. The ambiance is great, so it sucks it wasn't a great service. read more

They have areas for multiple pedicures for up to 6 people that's a little private so would be great for bridal parties or girl days so you get a bit of privacy but all being near each other. First time experience coming to this salon/location. I set up two appointments online a couple days before for 4:45 for a gel mani and a fill with gel. From the outside it looks like your typical nail salon, but when you walk in the waiting room and bar first catch your eye. Further back to the left is all pedicure stations and more. On the other side it is where fingers can be accommodated. I arrived exactly at 4:45, not realizing you have to sign in on an ipad I finally checked in. My guest came a minute or two after me. The waiting area was flooded with people and same goes for the rest of the shop. We picked our colors from the multiple options of gel and waited. And waited. At 5:45 we were greeted by the receptionist who then noted what exactly we wanted done but then was told to sit back down. We were brought back about 10 minutes later to our seats near the sinks. We were offered drinks but we didn't know what was included so we politely declined. Everything was esthetically pleasing, though we waited again. I keep my nails long and came for the fill. I had asked about nail art pricing for a picture I showed and she quoted $25. I wasn't surprised by that price. What I was surprised about was the break down of what I was paying beforehand. She said $40 for the fill, $5 to shorten, $3 to reshape to almond(barely), and another $5 because I have long nails. I don't mind paying for what I ask for, but I've also never been charged extra for those things, as they were always part of the service. My nail tech Helen was nice, though she only used one Dremel tool and didn't get the excess underneath with any tools. The experience was cool, though I don't feel like the service itself was what I expected or wanted. My guest had the gel mani and she liked it, though she said the soap and lotion had a strange smell. My review is based on the recent experiences I've had with the nail salon and not based on the people that work there. The workers are exceptional, and I have no complaints about how they work. I hate to be the type of person that goes "they just lost me as a customer," but they did just lose me as a customer. I went in yesterday for an appointment at 6:15pm and I was there by 6:17pm although I was 2 minutes late. I never thought it would take almost an hour to get my service done. What is the point of the nail salon having an appointment system when it's not even honored? If their rush hours are during 6pm then they should prioritize appointments over walk-ins. I was taken to the pedicure chair by 6:58pm and it took about 20 mins until a nail tech was assigned to me. It wasn't even the nail tech I had made the appointment to begin with... I'm not pleased with the service I got done and won't be returning since this was the last straw. I had given the nail salon "another chance" just because I really liked the people who work there and how good they do stuff. Unfortunately, the issue is how the salon is managed. read more

When I told the lady the color was wrong she said it's probably the lighting so I left to check the lighting and had to pick my son up from a birthday party. The massage was out of this world and my nail shape and length is PERFECT-- I'm admittedly a bit picky about dip nails, and can attest that the finish is flawless, the manicure sits perfectly against my cuticles with no overlap, and there's no bulkiness along the edges.
