I've tried a few salons from Chesterfield out to O'Fallon and Icare has been the best. If you come in for a mani/pedi, it's not unusual to have two people doing your nails at the same time so your nails are done quickly and they're very meticulous with their work. The salon itself isn't anything special, but the service is impressive. read more

First timer here! I got a gel mani which is originally $35, but since it was my first time I got $5 off. I did use a credit card and there was a $0.60 charge for that. I only found out after checking my banking app. I tried to schedule an appointment a week before via email and nicole responded right away but I never got a confirmation so I decided to walk in. They happily accepted me and I sat down right away! Yoyo helped me and was very friendly and kept good conversation. There was only one other woman on a Sunday afternoon, but then a woman walked in, who I assume is a regular because they spoke to her by name. She sat and waited a little bit, then two other walk ins came in but only two women were working. I asked if it was just them and she said yes. So my gel mani felt a bit rushed. I wish there were a bigger selection of color. It was one book with a lot of missing colors and then 2 rings of nails. Maybe I'm just picky, but I'll order the color I want on amazon and just bring it in for them to use. There was a little bit of skin I wish she cleared up (I noticed after the fact) but overall good experience. I work down the road so I'll be back! tip: * less busier Mondays and Wednesdays if you're looking to do a walk-in * definitely mention it being your first time for the discount * if you're trusting my review, lemme know so I can get that discount too! read more

I've been looking for a reliable nail salon and I think I found one! I came to Icare a week ago without an appointment to get a pedicure and I was happily impressed. My toes looked so good when I left and they held up so well no cracks in the polish. The lady who did my pedicure was super sweet and efficient! The prices were very reasonable! First time going to this spa. I had a pedicure. The girl did a great job. The shop was nice and clean. The only draw back was we had reservation for four of us. However they only had two people working. So it took a little longer and one in our party just decided to not take her turn. I would totally go back again if it were just me or just 2 of us. I found this little gem while looking for nail salons that were open on Sundays. I am so glad that I took a chance. Everyone was so nice and welcoming when I walked in the door, and conversation was incredibly pleasant. not to mention my nails look bomb!! Nicole is amazing and has incredible attention to detail. You can tell that she takes great pride in what she does, and it shows :) Nicole made the perfect color for me, comprised of "bubble bath" and "buy you a drink". Icare nails is amazing! When I can't get an appointment or don't feel like driving to my regular nail place in Webster Groves, Icare is may place to go. They have always taken me with last minute appointments and they do my dip nails very well. I was visiting from out of town and decided to treat myself to a pedicure. Nicole was absolutely fabulous, she was kind, experienced and gave me a great pedicure. She even re-did my toe (without hesitation or complaint) when I accidentally smudged it getting my slipper on. We had a great conversation about our families and traveling. I felt like I was talking to an old friend. The spa was clean and well kept and if I'm ever back in town I will definitely come back to Nicole. Thanks to yelpers I was able to find a great place for a pedicure. I had several nail salons that were closer to my hotel, but based on the great feedback I chose to drive farther for iCare. The customer service his is outstanding. I felt so terrible for my nail tech, my dad tried to speak Chinese to her. Which was embarrassing but she actually talked to me, and we made casual jokes about him. I did ask for different glitter options and couldn't make up my mind, but she had no sign of frustration which was also great. I took off a star because there was some acrylic left of my actual nail and I had to pick it off when I left which is one of my biggest pet peeves. But if you're looking for a nail place that can actually even out their nails and talk to you then this is the place to go! read more

I was staying at the hotel across the street and walked over to Icare Nail and Spa and got a great manicure and a great pedicure for a really great price. It was raining when it was time for me to leave and one of the employees offered to give me a ride back to the hotel. He even told me to stay under the covered area while he went and got the car. Totally unexpected and so much appreciated!! I don't live in St. Louis but I wanted to give a shout to a place that did a great job and offered such kindness to me. Recently I decided after almost a year off of acrylic nails that I missed my claws and I wanted a full set. I don't have a go to spot here so I took to yelp and found this spot. I asked for medium length almond shaped nails, and a full set with gel set me back $45 (+tip) Its an upcharge for the special shape which was totally fine by me as the nail tech took her time making sure the tips were flawlessly fitted, the length was perfect, the shape was exactly what I wanted, and the structure is spot on. I managed to chip the gel on my thumb and it was lifting a tiny tiny bit (totally my fault I jammed it) and when I went back in for a polish change she fixed the lifting on that nail as well, without me even saying a thing. Really good attention to detail. It's really like 4.5 stars, and that half star deduction is due to the fact it could be a bit cleaner. It's not blatantly unsanitary but also not impressively clean. read more

Needless to say, I had to remove it and now after paying over $100 dollars for a mani/pedi my fingernails are unpolished. Expensive but lack quality service.

They move the recliner to a tilted, laying down position and I almost fell asleep! Brittany was very gentle on my toes and I didn't even notice when she finished doing the gel polish. I have never been in a salon with such extreme safety precautions in place. All tools are medically sterilized. There are no soaking tubs, so be prepared, but every step of my pedicure was amazing and relaxing. I have an autoimmune disease and I am very hypersensitive. Normally I struggle with communicating this information. This was my first pain free pedi. Pricing is higher than your typical salon, but worth every penny! My mom has psoriasis and some hearing loss, and she was equally as pleased. It was so nice for her to be able to hear snd understand what the tech was saying to her. End result is that my feet are so baby soft!! CeCe and Carmel were our techs and they were the best!!!

Since I believe they earned it, I'm happy to provide a 5 star review for iCare Nails & Spa in Chesterfield Valley. We just moved to the area and after some research I finally found a nail salon that meets my criteria. iCare Nails & Spa is new and if they retain their current quality and attention to cleanliness and details they will certainly retain my business. Like many people, when I have the time, I want to feel relaxed and pampered. I recognize sometimes tight schedules require quicker service. Based on my first visit, iCare seemed to be able to provide that personalized service to customers who had less time. That's refreshing because hectic schedules dictate different needs. Cleanliness is of upmost importance to me. Too many nail salons neglect good sanitation practices and too many customers are either uninformed or willing to overlook them. iCare uses disposable pedicure tub liners, files, buffers, and toe separators. I was told they strictly follow sanitation protocol for reuse nail grooming tools. I don't feel like I have to compromise my health to get a good manicure and pedicure. iCare was neat and clean, no dirt or dust. They must have the appropriate ventilation system because there was no strong chemical odors. I chose one of their deluxe manicure and pedicure services. Yoyo was my nail technician. She was professional, conscientious, thoughtful and friendly, with a gentle touch. I walked out relaxed and highly satisfied. My initial visit was truly a wonderful experience. I believe I've found my nail salon! I will be a return customer! read more

I am in love with this nail salon! They are so friendly and so amazing! I found this place when my mother and I were searching for a place to get our nails done for my bridal shower and we loved them and it lasted for weeks (it was just a normal paint, not gel or acrylic). My sister was able to set up a whole afternoon appointment (more like a party!) with all of my bridesmaids, my mom and future mother in law, and the flower girls the day before my wedding. They made our entire day, it was soo much fun and I LOVED my wedding nails (which have still lasted!). If I were to recommend any nail salon it would be this one because they are such awesome, kind, and experienced people! Thank you guys for letting us take over the salon for a few hours, you all are amazing! read more

i went in originally wanting something something very different than what i got, i wanted cat eye but they didn't exactly have the color i was looking for. she showed me a couple other ideas and even tested one out to make sure it would look good without me even asking! overall, i'm very happy with my nails and the help i was provided. the place is clean, the only thing is there were no TVs or music on, so it was awkwardly quiet at times, but that's not a quality thing and it was honestly also relaxing. gel mani pedi was a little pricey but i was happy with my service. good place, check them out! read more

Absolutely the best mani/pedi I've ever had! Nicole was a pro and did a perfect job. Also, the salon is sparkling clean and well maintained. The staff is very serious about practicing safe hygiene for their customers and the prices seem more than reasonable. I am extremely impressed with the entire operation. I've been to Icare nails 3 times in the past month, once for a nail fill, once for a pedicure and just yesterday for a new set of acrylics. Every trip has been great. All three services were done excellently. Nicole is very meticulous and takes her time to get it right and tries to make sure things are done to your satisfaction. I've been to several nail salons over the years and have never been more pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Icare nails. read more

Made a last minute appointment and they made time for us. The day of we had some extra time before our appointment so we called and they got us in a few hours earlier! Amazing service! Got there at 7:20, two ladies were already there getting their nails done, had to wait but no big deal wasn't in a rush. The salon was empty and smelled absolutely horrible, like something spoiled. That alone should have been a red flag. The pedicure itself was lazy and poorly done. My cuticles were barely touched and everything felt rushed and careless. Then came the polish. The first polish was thin, streaky, and sloppy, spilling into my cuticles. I politely pointed out that something was wrong with it. Instead of fixing the issue properly, they grabbed another polish that was only slightly better but still bad. At one point they even suggested not painting my nails at all, which is ridiculous after paying for a pedicure. I decided to leave and move on, but the next morning on Christmas, the white polish on my toenails started turning brown. I have worn white on my toes for over fifteen years and have never had this happen. I immediately removed the polish because I was concerned about an infection. After that, I checked Google reviews and saw multiple people saying they got infections from this salon, which is extremely concerning. I tried calling several times to report what happened and request a refund and no one answered. Holiday or not, that is unacceptable. This place is dirty, unprofessional, and clearly does not care about quality or sanitation. Do not waste your money here. I will never be back.
