Went for the first time on March 21 for a basic pedicure. I followed normal aftercare (wore flip flops out after and I wear socks/shoes daily for work). Within 13 days, the polish was halfway gone on both feet. Pics before and after-luckily I had them on my phone ,which i showed them. I came back to ask about it and was told I must have caused it.This was a 5 min conversation .I've been getting pedicures for 30+ years and take normal care of them. While they offered to ONLY repaint, which I thanked and appreciated. I was again told I did something wrong.I kindly disagreed. Disappointed in both the quality and the customer service. Salon is clean and my first time there we were very pleased. The second time there all was well again until the next day. The gel polish on one of my toes came off in 12 hours. I went back in the next day and was not treated as friendly as before. It was redone but I was meant to feel like it was something I did. A few days later another one came off and I didn't want to return. In 10 days 6 of 10 came off. The polish stayed on the first and last toes. My daughter's toes also peeled. Ouch.... Well, it doesn't actually hurt.... YET. Really concerned that this will grow back ingrown. I have never had an ingrown toenail, probably because I always cut my nails straight across the way you are supposed to. My technician went wild with the nippers. Usually they just clip out dead skin and trim, but she was completely changing the shape of my nail. She also used a razor on some callouses I have, which no one has ever done before... And the second picture is the result of that. Otherwise... I will say the staff was friendly and the place was really clean and nice. So maybe as long as you keep your tech from going crazy with the nippers/razors, maybe it will be okay? You can't tell from the pictures, but the polish all around looks really nice. I added some pictures... I will update this later... After seeing how my toes feel. read more

I walked in just wanting a French manicure that only needed to last the night. The first lady was EXTREMELY pushy about getting a gel manicure (which never last any longer for me than regular polish) and when I kept turning her down, she made someone else come do my nails. The second lady was nice, but didn't really talk and I think may have been in training. I gave up asking her to fix things even though the white part isn't straight and used translucent red for what was supposed to be the upper pink part and it its very red in some spots and not even there in others. Then when it came time to pay, there is a sign with prices that says "French manicure $5". The first lady came back and told me that's only with a service, it's going to be $15 for the manicure and French design... Plenty more nail shops around that do better work, aren't rude, and don't jack up prices on a whim and next time I get my nails done, it'll be from somebody other than top nails. read more

I've been now twice and had gel nails. The 1st time I had a pure red and 2nd a pure black gel. I say that to say these are very difficult colors to do with precision and cleanliness and they nailed it BOTH visits. I went 2 weeks between the two visits and I did get a total of 4 nail techs to work on me because I guess they have one to get you started and one to actually complete the polishing. They were all very nice and one even spoke pretty good English and had good relatable conversation which I'm usually prepared to just sit in silence for my service. They give a nice hand massage but I opted out for it the 2nd Visit due to having a avocado allergy and I believe their massage creams contain that since I got a few hives after the 1st Visit. But it smelled lovely. I also must say that the prices are very inexpensive and I will be a regular here. Check out our nice and smooth my nails are! I've been to this place two times. The first time, it did not have any odor when you walked in and I was obscenely happy about that. The second time, there was an odor but nothing as bad as some of the other nail salons. The workers there are very friendly and try to make conversation with you. I drive at least a good 20 minutes to get to this location and pass up several other salons just because of the service and low odor. Have I been to some of these other places? Yes. However, I'm a fan that once I find somewhere I like, it is hard to get me to try somewhere new. read more

Went with my 6 year old to get mani/pedis since they have a child's pedicure chair. I went right when it opened at 10am. When I walked in, no one said Hi, didn't even blink an eye just kept on talking amongst themselves in a different language. The whole time we are picking out our colors, nothing has been said to us, they just keep talking to themselves. I kept telling them my daughter wanted a mani and the gentlemen just kept saying, just polish change right? I said no, I want her to have the whole manicure experience (which we usually do and its no problem) Well, they only painted her nails. This entire time they are talking loudly amongst themselves and barely paid attention to us. Which is fine, my daughter and I just talked the whole time anyway. As the lady is doing my pedicure...I notice shes rushing through and even clips my skin a few times where it caused me to flinch. She actually "tsk'ed" me one of the times I pulled back. I eventually asked her how her day was going. She sternly told me that shes here filling in for someone and went back to speaking to her coworker who was doing my daughters pedicure. I ended up not even getting the manicure there because I was so uncomfortable with all of it. The talking amongst each other loudly, the ignoring us, the hastiness in which the services were completed, the fact that they wouldn't give my daughter a normal manicure. When I told them I wasn't going to the manicure after all, then they started acting very apologetic and nice and trying to get me to still do it. I stuck my ground cause we just wanted out of there at that point. When I paid, they charged me for a full mani/pedi for my daughter. I tried to fight it, but he just kept saying that they had done a polish change. I just gave up, honestly. It was my daughter and I's last day together before she started first grade and I didn't want her to see me upset or think anything was wrong. Overall, it truly was a shitty experience and I'm annoyed that I drove from Winfield to St.Charles for it. What a waste. read more
