Had been going for over two years with my mom, grandma and aunts. The past 3 times we had appointments and every time we end up waiting over 30 minutes to an hour past the appointment time to even start! Every single time the excuse is "Well, someone called out sick" A single person should not tank your wait times. ESPECIALLY for appointments! You have 5 people working, appointments should take priority. They also tried to say a woman who came in after us and was finished before us, had been waiting an hour. We managed to ask the woman after and she confirmed she had just walked in, so they lied to us! My mom and I were called to be seated and they did mine and not hers. By the time they were drying me (An hour later) they told her "Two minutes" Obviously my mom declined because we were supposed to be getting them done together which they were aware of. Only then did they bring up the "Someone called in sick" excuse and when pressed about the walk ins they took before my mom - then they lied about the woman who thankfully came to us to tell us they were not being honest and she was a walk in and felt bad. I doubt she will ever come back there either. My family will now never return; service has gone down hill immensely and it is no surprise they are hiring. I have seen several techs that used to work there over in Nail Crew off Mid Rivers. That place will now have our business because they are efficient, honor appointments over walk ins and do not lie/blame others to clients. read more

My technician Bill, is wonderful. I've been going to Bill for about 25 years (not solely at Liz Nails) followed him wherever he went. My last visit, I did the survey for the very first time because I have not been happy with the way the shop runs. They started doing Sundays as "walk-ins" only. I sat there a couple of Sundays hearing people come in and saying that they have an appointment. Now my understanding of this is you can make an appointment with the "shop", not a certain technician. Also, this shop is busy enough to hire a Separate person to answer the phones. The same technician Always answering the phones is taking away from the customer that is sitting in the chair. Both time, and the technician being interrupted constantly. My one and only survey was again about the nail salon, Not the technician! But, since my technician got ripped apart by his boss (the owner), because of my survey answers regarding the shop and nothing to do with him directly, he pretty much told me to find another place to go. I got my nails touched up after having broken a nail.(I previously got my nails done at a different salon and this one was more convenient to go to) I waited 1.5 hours, wasn't greeted, wasn't told how long the wait was... in my 1.5 hour wait time I noticed people would get done with their service and then ask to pay because the employees wouldn't come up to the desk to check them out. I usually am very happy with the service that I get. I usually get a manicure every 2 weeks and a pedicure more regular in the summer. But this time My polish came off in chunks on seven of my fingernails. When I went back to get a polish change and showed them what had happened in only 4 days, I was treated with disrespect. After spending hundreds of dollars in the salon, it ended over an argument and a $10 polish change. I no longer recommend this salon due to the way my dissatisfaction was handled. Never tell prices in advance and you have to pay whatever they ask you at the end. Too picky about length and price. Very bad service - my cuticles bled and for simple red nails they charged me more than required. They also dont have a wide color range - i asked for an ocean blue and they didnt have it. I got my nails done and accidentally chipped so went back again to get them fixed which should be free but since was charged again as they considered it a fresh set. read more

I've been going to Liz Nails for about six years, and have never been disappointed. I took my daughters there today for manis and pedis before a baby shower. They were so nice and we had a great "girls day out." The prices are very inexpensive, and the polish lasts for a long time. The only negative is that they are very popular. I would suggest making an appointment, as they take appointment people before walk-ins. They always have time for walk-ins, but you might have to wait a bit longer. They actually remodeled a while back, so it's not just a strip mall shop with bare walls and pictures of fingernails. Nails always turn out ok, but they NEVER honor appointment times. I just left in tears after waiting an hour past my appointment time because this was the only time I had to get nails done before my maternity photo shoot. 4 people walked in after me and they all got helped before I finally just left, I always make an appointment and its the same bullshit every time.
