Unfortunately as I've aged I find it difficult to trim my toenails so I occasionally join my wife for a mani pedi. This time our daughter and granddaughter joined us. Very large salon. Lots of chairs including two for children. The staff is very attentive and skilled. Was not at all happy with pedicure. My daughter and I had appointments set ahead of time. Went in a very rushed. They were not crazy busy or anything, but definitely rushing things along. Then lady who did mine messed up a few times with the polish and used acetone to take off abs redid. Every time I look at my feet and it looks like each foot was done with different polish, it aggravates me. The entire experience was so rushed, not done well, and end result not nice! I've never been here before so I didn't have a specific tech I wanted. I was given a gentleman who was nice and held a conversation. I asked for slight coffin shape on my nails. The first alarm was they charged me $155 for both toes and nails!!! When I got home, I took a good look at my nails and they were crooked. I saw a new place to get your nails done right close to home so I decided to try it. Perfect location right next to the feet fleet store. Beautiful brochure. Beautiful decor looked clean and tidy and accepted walk-ins. I entered the store and was greeted by what I believe was one of the owners. He asked how he could help me and told him I wanted the Hawaiian pedicure, which was $30. He told me to have a seat in one of the chairs, so I sat down. I waited for 20 minutes for someone to come over and start working on my pedicure. I sat in there, in the chair and called another nail salon and they had no wait so I told my sister let's go. As we started to leave, the owner asked what was going on. I said well, you're pretty backed up so we're gonna go. Then he said no, somebody's coming out. We waited. Then after about 10 more minutes a guy comes out and looked angry. He didn't speak much except in his foreign language. He was very rough handling my feet. I pulled away several times. He pulled the skin off my main toe with the cuticle clippers . He filed my skin instead of the nails. Then he brought out scalding hot towels and put them on my legs. I took them off and said too hot. He finished my pedi in 20 minutes and asked for a tip. . I said no. He ran my card and pushed the button for add a tip later and I complained. The owner approached . He also charged me 3.5% fee for using a credit card. I asked for a French manicure, and he painted the white on my toes crooked. My family noticed immediately. I asked for the Hawaiian pedicure and I got the spring pedicure instead. The spring pedicure was five dollars more. Don't waste your time trying this new place unless you want to be disappointed. Just go to your regular nail salon and get it done the way that you expect and want for it to be done. I will never go here again. I ended up re-painting my toes. Waste of money & Terrible customer service. Apparently they didn't understand English. Apparently they don't understand what Customer Service means. They use latex gloves, and I am allergic. I was in so much pain after I left from swollen legs and feet. read more

This place is a joke, I made a 3pm appointment for my pregnant wife to get a pedi mani and when she gets there they said they had over booked and proceeded to have her wait for 30 mins. All the mean time taking other people who were walking in who had later appointment times. Needless to say she left this shit show and went somewhere else. My daughter went to get her nails done at Hawaii Nails off Mexico Rd & Old Muegge Rd today, 4/11/22 and left at approx 11:55am. She asked for acrylic nails with a french manicure. The employee had made the white part of the french manicure too thick. She politely explained that she wanted to white apart thinner and asked how it could be fixed, even made a suggestion to help the situation and fix her nails. The employee said no it could not be fixed. My daughter then asked for the nails to be taken off. When the employee got the nails clippers my daughter thought the employee was going to clip the nails shorter and take them off. My daughter had even planned on still tipping the employee for her time. The employee took nail clippers, clipped all the nails shorter and then told her to LEAVE. My daughter was in Shock! She asked if she was going to take the nails off and was told NO AND ASKED TO LEAVE. The nails were not even clipped nicely, they are jagged. I can not believe this happened. Today was my first time here. Their customer service, and quality are amazing! I got a full acrylic manicure with hand painted art. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. Lisa did my acrylics and painted them, and someone else did the art on my ring fingers. Throughout the process I felt very welcomed, and Lisa asked me multiple times along the way if I liked what she was doing with my nails. She seemed very busy and she had to get up multiple times while she was doing my nails, which didn't really bother me, but might be a problem for others. She apologized and got back to work on my nails. In the end, it took about an hour and cost me $50 (gel polish and hand painted designs cost extra). I do not live in STL and asked for a nail salon recommendation when I checked in to my hotel.... this was it. I do not recommend this place. Advised what I wanted and was handed nail colors to select from, which I did. When I showed the male technician what I had selected, he said no, he would not do it. Ok, that's weird but whatever. Made another selection, again he said no. Now I'm getting irritated. Made a 3rd selection and we proceeded. I asked to have a manicure, as well as the gel color and he simply took a cuticle tool and pushed my cuticles back. More irritation, then comes the color, which did NOT match what I saw. He took the color off and again I made yet another selection. THIS color didn't match either, but I didn't have the time or patience to explain that I hate GREEN (was suppose to be dark gray). He finished, and upon examination of my nails they looked horrible!! Not smooth, not filed correctly. A few days later, and me hating the color, the color began lifting. A week later and color is flaking off. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

Love this place! I rarely write reviews, but I'm an avid reader of reviews for EVERYTHING. So i hope this helps people just like me. I recently moved out to Saint Peter's from Maplewood so i knew nothing out here. So when it came to finding a nail salon i was lost. I went to three terrible places before i found this one. I had been getting the gel nails, but they just weren't lasting since my hands are constantly in sanitizer water. So they recommended doing the dip and I've been hooked ever since. I've always been the person that just goes with whatever the person does and i don't speak up when it's really not what I'm looking for. But they will ask multiple times throughout the process if what they are doing is what i want. They don't make you feel like you're being difficult if you say "you know maybe can you redo this finger". You just have to be honest and speak up. They understand ! So after coming here a few times and having the best conversations and the best nails I've gotten in a long time and reading all these terrible reviews i just couldn't believe it. I feel like there might have been a lot of misunderstandings because they really do a great job and are amazing people ! There are only so many of them working so hard to make sure you get what you are looking for so cut them a little slack ! read more

I've gone here twice and both times my pedicures were fast and sloppy. They have really nice chairs and a nicer environment than most salons in the area so I wanted to give them a 2nd try. I just got the fastest pedicure of my life - including drying time I was in the chair for 20 minutes and I dried for more than 5. I didn't time it, but I received a call on the way in and checked the time when I left. I did get their basic pedicure but for $25 I at least expect my toes to be painted properly. My pedicurist ran off to tend do his child after telling me "just sit there" and never came back. (I don't care if people bring their kids to work-I don't take issue with that). I put on my own shoes and left. I do have to say that I was asked if everything was ok when I left and I said yes but it was because I was so angry that I didn't want to be rude to the lady that checked me out. I'll have to repaint most of my toes and re-trim the cuticles where dry skin is dangling. They also use lotion for the massage that smells like an old lady. I've washed my legs twice with Dial soap and I can still smell it standing up. read more
