I have been coming to Elite Nail Salon in Creve Coeur MO for quite some time and recommend it to all my friends and neighbors. It is conveniently located next to The Shack Restaurant and the Dollar Tree at Dierbergs Heritage. The owner, Kelly always does a wonderful job on my nails, and Tiffany is terrific as well. I receive my fabulous relaxing Jasmine scented pedicures from Nancy, and I really look forward to them every month. All of the staff are very good at what they do and always friendly. It is easy to get an appointment, yet walk-ins are always welcome. They do take credit cards and are closed on Monday. Love this shop! read more

It's a HUGE disappointment when your nails come out of a mani/ pedi looking worse than when you went in. I asked for a manicure, no polish. The nail tech didn't even shape my nails or trim them evenly. My thumbs are completely different shapes and lengths and my nails ended up scratched (see photo). The pedicure looked fine at first, but the polish started coming off when I get home. Over an hour after I left the salon, the pedicure was not dry and goopy. I can literally wipe it off with my finger. The employees are not even friendly and the atmosphere is below average as far as ambiance and comfort. Here is the problem horrible customer service. Unfortunately, I started going to this nail salon in the summer of 17' because I live in Creve Coeur. I found what I think is a decent nail tech by the name of Nick. However, her Girlfriend, Kelly, the owner of the salon, correction Kelly is not the owner but Joe Cheun, Kelly's husband, has a nasty attitude and I have seen where "certain" customers were treated better than other customers. Despite the fact that I am a professional and ALWAYS tip Nick $15 or higher even though her work is subpar at best I did it because Nick's attitude was different. I did start to notice the comments between Nick and Kelly. When I looked at the reviews I am not shocked. The customer service sucks and the place is no where near decent. I do have to take responsibility because out of convenience I continued to give these people my money. Today was the last time and before I reacted in a very unprofessional manner, I cancelled my appointment and found a better shop. Most Importantly, this nail shop does not sterilize it's equipment after each customer use. After my last visit, my toenails had black residue coming from each toe. It was nail fungus. The last visit when I mentioned that I noticed they were not properly sterilizing Kelly, got loud and defensive but anyone can go and see that they are not sterilizing. An unsafe health practice that I will report. Sooo many customers do not take this extra step and are left with treating an unnecessary infection. Enter at your own risk! My mom has been going here for 2 years and has had excellent service. Even when she has forgotten to make an appointment they've squeezed her in last minute and her nails always look great! I've been here once when I visited home and they did a great job on my nails! I was looking for a new nail salon to take my daughter to as the one we usually go to was not on my list of places to go back to last time I was there. We got in right away and the service was friendly and efficient. They got right to work and did and excellent job on my child's nails. They are a little brusque and their English is not the best so patience is required but that is not out of the ordinary for salons. What I enjoyed so much was that the lady doing my daughters nails saw that she was sensitive and jumpy and would give a little warning before she started a new nail and countdown how many more their were to go etc and when my child jumped back she had enough control of what she was doing not to cut herself or my child. When it got to the painting we had chosen a glitter polish and she showed us a sample of how much better it would be if we chose a light color to go underneath. Awful. Unclean-- things lying around on the floor. They used a brush on my feet that did not appear to be individually sterilized. Yuck. My daughter and I came in at the same time for pedicures. They left one of us to soak for nearly 40 minutes while the other was being done. They should have told us in advance it would be that long. Plus, there were plenty of techs to help out, they just didn't. They did try to upsell as other reviewers mentioned. The pedicures were okay, thus the 2 stars. But they didn't do the tips of the nails so they will likely chip. Finally, not at all friendly staff. Not recommended. read more

I went to get a pedicure with someone and they made me wait about an hour after doing my mother's toes, yet they had enough people to spare. They did a horrible job on my nails, painting on the cuticles, doing a sloppy job and over soaking my feet. They had a sloppy place, with un sterilized tools, outlets falling apart and more. I've been going to Elite nails off and on for 5 years now and most of the time I have no issues or problems with the staff or my nails. I went in there yesterday and got a pedi and mani with gel. Well needless to say this morning I woke up with 4 of my nails peeling already and I was not a happy camper so I called and told them and they were very apologetic and asked me to come in after work to fix them. So I did well I decided I wanted to try the power instead of the gel and let me tell you I've never been so happy that my nails were messed up. They got me in took off the gel and did the power. They look AMAZING! Like I have tiny little diamonds all over my nails. I will continue to come there and see them just because they made it right. read more

I have been going to Elite Nail Salon for 2 years. I love this place. My nail tech Nick is wonderful. She always does a great job. My nails look wonderful and Nick always does them in the style, shape and detail that I prefer. Kelly (owner/manager) is always friendly and works me in when I have forgotten to make my appt. and try to get in last minute. When I get a pedicure, if there is a wait, they put me in the massage chair and soak my feet. I love this extra time soaking and being massaged instead of sitting in the waiting area. The tools they use come straight out of the sterilizer, I watched Nick get them out. I am very happy with Elite Nail Salon. read more

Nick thought I should get the color Flamingo because I have a flamingo tattoo! Opted for the gel polish so hopefully it last a bit longer. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. I am very picky when it comes to my nails. When I lived near Columbia, MO I previously used the same nail tech every two weeks for 15 years. Upon moving back to St. Louis I had the daunting task of finding someone to do my nails. I wear acrylic nails with gel on top. After trying 7 separate salons I found Kelly, the owner of Elite Nail Salon. She listened to exactly what I wanted and asked to be sure that I was happy with how they looked. She is always very friendly, professional and prompt. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and they are also able to fit me in for repairs anytime they are needed. Only 2 people working on a Sunday, but they started my feet soaking immediately so I was pretty much stuck at that point. I got a gel mani and pedi. The pedicure was decent but she only massaged my legs for about two minutes total. She didn't paint the edge of my nails and I can see areas where the clear coat is already fading away on my toes. There was no hand massage for my mani at all. I don't expect a lot of conversation at the nail salon, but they literally only spoke to each other even once I was the only customer left, making it pretty awkward. Considering you can usually find a nail salon on every corner, I wouldn't waste my money here again. read more

Came here with my friend to get pedicures and our nails done. She got dip nails with tips added and I got acrylics. Our pedicures were fine but out manicures were horrible! 3 of my nails had fallen off within two days and within a week and a half, they were all off. First of all I should've read reviews on this place before I went. I was looking to get a pedicure while out and about and this was the closet nail shop to where I was shopping . I wanted a gel manicure and with no price list on the wall, I should've know. They beat over the head! All I can say is how you work in a nail shop and don't know how to shape nails and make them even? This was the worst botched job I've seen in a long while! My visit on 1/13 was so bad that I'm still considering going back for a refund. I spoke up for myself several times but knew I was paying for awful service. The gel manicure was ok. I know I have short nails that make it hard to paint but two days later they're chipped as I told her it was sticking to my skin and of course chipped as that pulled off. The pedicure was the worst. First, she told me I need a tan (several bouts of skin cancer). Then she dug on the side of my toe for a fictional ingrown nail and cut me. My toe is still extremely sore. Then argued that she hadn't cut me, as she pours alcohol on my toe to prove her point and I'm almost crying because it stung so badly. She barely took of any dead skin, left a little toe blister until I asked if she was going to trim it and the painting was awful. I tried to give them a second chance after a bad manicure months ago but I'm in physical pain now and will never go back again. read more

This is so horrible I have to write TWO bad reviews.. I went there today which is 1/13/2017 today was the ice storm... .. I went around 9:30 am.. This customer service I received today from the two ladies in there was so bad I feel the need to write two reviews to warn people to NEVER EVER go to this nail salon.. These women were CLEARLY trying to over charge me and they were CLEARLY racist is against black women.. So this is what happened... I wanted a regular full set of acrylic nails at a very short length... the rude lady was trying to get me to get gel nails and I told her several times I did not want gel nails... she becomes even more rude and gets attitude... I asked her how much was a full set of acrylic nails.. she started speaking to the other lady there in their language... Then she said that for acrylic it was $40... what?? I said most places charge $25! Her exact words were "we'll go somewhere else , you black people are so cheap" .. YES that is what she said to me!!!! Racist and HORRIBLE customer service!!! Save your money and find a different place! Your money's better spent elsewhere. My friend and I went there this weekend for pedis and both of us had a very well below average experience. The pedicurists were barely invested in what they were doing -- in fact, the guy attempting to do my toes kept missing them as he attempted to "work." The staffers at the pedi chairs seemed more interested in discussing where they were going after work and what they would wear instead of feigning any attention to detail. And, to make matters even worse, the atmosphere wasn't relaxing at all. Skip this place and find somewhere else. I recommend the Face and the Body.
