I have been treated unfairly by the staff and even made fun of. I have a medical condition and I am talked about and mocked by the staff. Then when I had a new employee do my nails it took way too long. The employee did not do my nails as I requested. I gave good tips and even then the service got worse. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! This has to be one of the most frustrating nail salon situations I've had to occur in a while. I went in for a pedicure w/gel and a polish change. i was given their list of prices and chose to receive a basic gel pedicure with a gel polish change. During this service I worked with Aznete, and she was a pleasure; great customer service and a good laugh. after working with her I was sent to a man ( I'm unaware of his name but he was middle aged) to complete my pedicure service and nails. How my completion process went afterwards was downhill. The man forcibly rushed my service with my feet, making it very uncomfortable; then managed to do my hands next. Now I was informed of my prices before my services were finished, but when I was prepared to check out I was told a completely different price. I tried to clarify and understand why my price had changed but instead received aggressive backlash and a nasty attitude. Me personally, I will not take this amount of disrespect so I did engage in arguing back with them due to the situation. then i decided to call the police and get them involved in the situation. Though they were of no help to my situation, I decided to be the mature person and pay what I felt was deserved for the service and left. Honestly, I was just trying to go about my day and enjoy my Friday; and even though I'm writing this review, I'm still gonna enjoy my day. My nails always look great! The staff is very nice and their pedicure chairs are comfortable. I recommend going during the day on a week day because they get busy from 4:00 to close. They make every effort to fit in walk ins but the wait gets long. ~$120 for acrylic removal, "natural deluxe" pedicure with gel, and a new acrylic set with gel polish. read more

Randomly found this place after going to a friends off of Highway K (I live in Maryland heights). The gentleman who did my nails was SUPER fast and efficient. He hurried through my Gel manicure, cutting short the amount of time under the light to dry them. 10 days later 5 of my nails are chipped with polish coming off! Time to do my own nails. Service was excellent! They promptly got me in for my pedicure/manicure. The manicurist, Ladda, was really nice! She did an awesome job on my fingernails and on my toes. The pedicure was my favorite. My feet felt so nice and refreshed after she was done. Pricing was fine. For a mani and pedi is $30. They also offer discounts for students and for first time costumers. If you want to get your nails painted minus the extras, it costs $6. The nail polish brand was primarily O.P.I. I'd love to come back when I need to get my nails done while I am in O'Fallon. read more

This place was one of the best nail salons I've been to in the O'Fallon MO area. My reason for a 4/5 star is that I noticed their drills and files had white dust on them meaning they weren't properly cleaned between uses. Besides that, the staff is very friendly and the male nail tech did I very good job with my manicure. read more

Good manicures. Problem is the customer service. I always book an appointment when I leave for my mom and myself. Lately they are never on time. On 12/23/2019 my mom waited an hour for mason. We got there at 4 pm. We are never late. He was doing somebody. He finished at 5 and started my mom's mani pedi at 5 pm. He finished my mom at about 6 pm. So that tells me that he started another customer just before we got there. No apologies even after I complained. Too busy to sit around and wait when we had appoints. This is not the first time that they have been unprofessional and rude. There are too many shops to put up with this. Never going back. read more

I have been going to Tina since 2006 to have my nails done always beautiful till they offered that dip stuff. Broke two nails. I never had a nail ever break. I got that metallic paint fabulous. My son closed car door on my hand didn't feel it. I just went 6 weeks ago got petacure Jimmy Tina's husband did it. 60 bucks 4 toes paint peeled off and I got severe fungus on both toes had antibiotics and iv antibiotics. Never again read more

I went to get a pedicure and when I paid I presented my gift certificate bought for me by my son. Not knowing it had an expiration date on it, they would not honor it as it was past the expiration of 12/20 (5 1/2 mos past, but mask mandates were just lifted) so it must have been good for a year but I never used it, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. I felt like they should have honored it because of the pandemic, but did not start a confrontation due to too many customers in the store, some being young teenage girls. Any business that puts an expiration date on a gift certificate I feel is just trying to scam you out of money that you already paid. I will not be going back to this place even though it is right by my house. Every time I ask for a design they act like they don't know how to do anything (even though it is simples lines or a flower-I'm pretty basic lol) or it looks like a kindergarten did it. So I ended up paying $45 for a basic (+ French manicure) pedi plus $10 tip=$55. I recommend VA nails on Bryan that I will gladly go back to. read more

My favorite person there is Lada, she sits at the first desk on the left when you walk in. She always does wonderful with my nails she's very nice and courteous and awesome to talk to. I came there today on Sunday December 3rd and had great service. To the lady that came in today for a fill and got taken back and around 3:10, you didn't have to be so snobby. You're not always going to get right in for a service if you don't make an appointment and don't expect to be privileged when you act the way you do. If you ask for extras you have to pay for them. DO NOT GO HERE! So disappointed! I have been to J & J for pedicures and it has been decent. I went in for an acrylic dip or powder as some call it on my nails. I was sat down and my service was started. There was confusion about what i wanted... so mid service they moved me to another man towards the front of the salon. I explained again to him what i was asking for. This is after they told me they performed this service. He was very rough and in a hurry. He started lifting my nails off with the corner of an acrylic nail instead of soaking the powder off like other salons do. I asked him not to use that method and he seemed put out. He coated my nails with gel. I told him that at other salons they don't use the gel and asked again if this was a powder acrylic or dip. He assured me yes. This was on a Friday. By Sunday i had 5 broken nails! I went back in on Monday. I was told by Lala that i was probably " doing too much". I have never experienced this in getting my nails done with this type of powder in over 2 yrs. The same man completely re-did my nails. This time tearing my skin and making me bleed. Again after 3 days my gel was peeling off the top and I have 2 broken nails in 4 days. Never again! read more

My daughter was home on spring break so we decided to get pedicures yesterday evening. Things started fine..,nothing over the top, but fine. One thing I noticed during pedicure is they do use an auto grinder tool on foot that is not sanitized first. The man that did my daughters pedicure was nice to explain the different pedicures. (I was actually impressed at his English.) We stopped him at the 3rd and said we would go with the 2nd option. He further explained how much he liked that product and we would too. ("Basic pedicure is $22 and this is Natural .... and it's $30. Volcano.... is $35 and"; this is when we stopped him and said we would each go with the $30 pedicure.) Everything was mostly fine. The polish I chose must've been a little old because the coverage on my big toe was lame. She didn't bother putting a 3rd coat or act like she noticed and I figured it's winter and wasn't going to make a big deal of it. However, the 1 rating came at the end. After drying we went up to pay and a different man said $40 each. I said wait, no we did the $30 option. A different lady in the back chimed in "yes $40". The man that did my daughter pedicure is sitting right there next to her at back of salon NOT SAYING A WORD! All of a sudden he knows no English! I told the man at the register "he knows what he told us and he told us $30 each" Then he acts like he doesn't know what I'm saying and says "ok so $40'each". I said that it was really not ok-also did not want to make a scene and ruin my daughter and I'd evening. I said "I'm not going to argue but this is horrible." I looked at the man and said "you know the price you told us" and he just smiled, still not knowing English. (Which is false because he explained the options etc. He would've at the very least known that there was an issue.) Will never return and have only written one review on yelp ever I think. But people should know that they aren't reputable. That was pretty low. read more

Not very happy today. Went to get my nails filled as I always do every 2 weeks and was told there was an hour wait. Fine. I wrote my name down, explained I would return in an hour and left. Upon my return 1 hour later, I waited 20 more minutes only to be put in a chair and asked to wait again. I obliged for 10 more minutes and left. I'm sorry, but I won't be back. Went in for pedicures for the family and it was ok. They were busy but we managed to get in right before everyone else. The pedicure was very basic - nothing special, limited amount of massage, etc. I don't know if it's because they were busy or this is their standard service, but it was definitely not very relaxing. When we were all done and got home, we saw that they were very sloppy with the polish application. They didn't get the nail polish all the way to the edges and some of it was crooked. A pedicure was $22. One of the other things that bothered me was that they left a horror movie on while there were children in the salon. They have a big flatscreen television on in the back of the salon which was fine initially. But when the show changed to a clearly inappropriate movie, no one changed it. I would hope for more awareness of their clients. Overall, it was an ok place for a very basic manicure. read more
