I asked her for pink to white ombre nails. She was very confused. Told me the pink i chose was wrong for french tips which wasnt the design i asked for. She seemed confused, walked away, and then someone else took me to their station? I explained to her what I wanted. She started my dip and start to put the pink where the white was supposed to go so i corrected her. She fixed it and my manicure came out looking great which i appreciated. Until 5 days later when the top coat started peeling off my dip nails already. They looked super scuffed and milky so i called and the manager told me to come in anytime for them to fix them. Well i did and things got more weird. The lady who did my nails originially looked at them, buffed one nail, and then told me i needed to wait 20 minutes while she finished her client. I didnt have 20 minutes to wait to start so i asked the front desk if someone else could help. They said this lady would lose money and shed have to call her boss which she did. Then i felt horrible - the shop should help with that loss and not mention it to me. Finally someone else came and got me, fixed my nails. They look great and am hoping they hold up this time. She was super friendly and did an excellent job. Apparently she was planning to just file my nails down so they were started faster and the original lady would finish them she she'd be done soon. Well she wasn't done soon and wasn't even done by the time i left the salon. I'm just super unhappy with all of the confusion and awkwardness. Definitely will not be back.

When we got here the owner recognized us from my call and was so sweet and welcoming. My girls just wanted gel manicures, but I wanted a pedicure. They have several to choose from, and I went with the hydrate and moisture pedi. She sold me on it when she said it came with hot stone massage. After picking my color I sat in one of their amazing massage chairs. Loved all the settings. But of course the best was the amazing leg massage with the hot stones! Get it! The salon is very clean and relaxing. Charming decor. Overall cozy feel. (I can't stand loud noisy nail salons) The technician who did my pedicure was excellent. She started my service before even responding and told me she'd do the nail and to come back to be painted. I told her no I had my sons apt we weren't coming back. She worked continued to work on my nails and tell me she could get it done. We went over time by 10 minutes and she still left them with only one coat of paint where 2 days later they're already chipped, the nails are clumpy and bent at the ends. And the cuticle area around all my nails are cut and bleeding. 0/10 would not recommend.

It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?

The day after we there for the corrections I had another toe lose the gel polish. I haven't gone to have fixed since it isn't always convenient to go that way. I am very frustrated that this has all happened in 4 days time of getting the pedicure.
