However, I've received this exact same service and design at other surrounding nail salons and I've never been charged more than $70. Idol Nails just charged me $90 for this gel manicure! The nail tech explained to me that doing a French manicure is like doing two regular manicures because it requires a base coat then a second coat for the French tip. They will never see me again!

When we got here the owner recognized us from my call and was so sweet and welcoming. My girls just wanted gel manicures, but I wanted a pedicure. They have several to choose from, and I went with the hydrate and moisture pedi. She sold me on it when she said it came with hot stone massage. After picking my color I sat in one of their amazing massage chairs. Loved all the settings. But of course the best was the amazing leg massage with the hot stones! Get it! The salon is very clean and relaxing. Charming decor. Overall cozy feel. (I can't stand loud noisy nail salons) The technician who did my pedicure was excellent. She was very detailed and made sure I was enjoying and relaxing. The location is easy to get into. Plenty of parking.

I asked her to put a light pink polish on the nail to cover the imperfections and give me a French tip. She couldn't even do that. When I tell her I didn't like them and to take them off she grabbed the owner who clearly couldn't see that her tech did an awful job. The owners excuse was I asked for too many layers of nail polish. (2 layers) as the polish was on the lighter side. I still got charged $40 for a terrible fill and had to go somewhere else to get them fixed. Luckily the owner of that salon took care of me and immediately saw how horrible the application was. It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?

In 14 hours…read more2 toes lost their gel polish and my daughter's fingernails the mustard color started to bubble. We went back, they fixed my two toes and redid that specific color on her nails. The day after we there for the corrections I had another toe lose the gel polish. I haven't gone to have fixed since it isn't always convenient to go that way. I am very frustrated that this has all happened in 4 days time of getting the pedicure.

I went in last week to get dip and within 2 days my thumb had cracked and throughout the week every single nail chipped. Now my natural nails are short and broken. I've had to file down multiple nails as the broken polish and nails were snagging everything I touched. Will be finding a new salon asap.
