However, I've received this exact same service and design at other surrounding nail salons and I've never been charged more than $70. Idol Nails just charged me $90 for this gel manicure! The nail tech explained to me that doing a French manicure is like doing two regular manicures because it requires a base coat then a second coat for the French tip. They will never see me again!

When we got here the owner recognized us from my call and was so sweet and welcoming. My girls just wanted gel manicures, but I wanted a pedicure. They have several to choose from, and I went with the hydrate and moisture pedi. She sold me on it when she said it came with hot stone massage. After picking my color I sat in one of their amazing massage chairs. Loved all the settings. But of course the best was the amazing leg massage with the hot stones! Get it! The salon is very clean and relaxing. Charming decor. Overall cozy feel. (I can't stand loud noisy nail salons) The technician who did my pedicure was excellent. This is my 3rd time trying them and each time I left feeling like I wasted my $. I basically paid $65 to get my toes polished. Also Im a diabetic so I asked if she could get clean equipment. She said it was already clean..it was not as she just rolled the same cart from one station to the next. Cleanliness is important for everyone. Diabetic or not. The advertised price for the pedicure was $55 but they charge $56. Its only $1. I just paid it, left a tip and decided I'll continue to go across town for my nails. Because when I explained the problem…read moreI'd been having with the kind of acrylic nail that another salon used, instead of switching to the old-school acrylic, Lila recommended polygel nails. It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?

I get my manicure done by Julie and she takes her time and pride in her work to make sure my nails are always beautiful. My nails always receive compliments at work. Donni is also exceptional. My daughter loves her Mani, pedi done by Donni. He takes time and shows his talent in his work.My toes have deep ingrowths and Donni has been the only one who has managed to take care of them. In 14 hours…read more2 toes lost their gel polish and my daughter's fingernails the mustard color started to bubble. We went back, they fixed my two toes and redid that specific color on her nails. The day after we there for the corrections I had another toe lose the gel polish. I haven't gone to have fixed since it isn't always convenient to go that way. I am very frustrated that this has all happened in 4 days time of getting the pedicure.
