I went in for a pedicure yesterday and was seated promptly. The people are always nice. But their work is always just ok. This is my 3rd time trying them and each time I left feeling like I wasted my $. I basically paid $65 to get my toes polished. Also Im a diabetic so I asked if she could get clean equipment. She said it was already clean..it was not as she just rolled the same cart from one station to the next. Cleanliness is important for everyone. Diabetic or not. The advertised price for the pedicure was $55 but they charge $56. Its only $1. I just paid it, left a tip and decided I'll continue to go across town for my nails. I give them 3 stars because the owner is very friendly and I always go last minute or day of appointment and she gets me in and out. read more

The man who did my nails did not do them correctly. I asked for French tip and he did not put a base coat on. So you can see my natural nails through the gel X nail. And the glitter is uneven. I called to see if I could walk-in or if I could schedule an appointment for the following day. They were able to get me in right away! I showed a picture of the nails I wanted - American with dip or a softer white for French tip. Two other employees looked at the image and confirmed it was an American dip. The man who my nails told me it was ombré but it would look like the image. I love this shape of my nails! But my nails were not at all what I asked for. There was no cuticle trimming or hand massage like you would receive at other places. The pricing changed a few times throughout my experience- from $37 to $53 to $43 on the receipt, but told it was actually $53 and to add tip to $53. So, buyer cautioned - I'm still not sure what the actual price was. I will most likely try this place again, hopefully this time with the correct American dip style like I've asked for. read more

I broke 6 nails and asked if they could fix them. Not only did they fix them but they changed the shape to all of my nails & freshen up the polish to the rest of my nails. Made an appointment but really doesn't mean anything they'll get to you when they get to you. My pedicure took a total of less than 20 minutes and I still have dry skin on the bottom of my feet and not it's flaking. My toenail polish looks like it was done by a little girl. My daughter went here with her friends to get her nails done for prom. She came home upset and her nails look like I bought a sally nail kit. Wrong shape, horrible coloring and she got a basic blue French tip. Since prom is tomorrow and she just sat there for an hour, there's not an option for redoing them. That's why moms need to go with them because she felt uncomfortable telling him he was doing them wrong because they were nice. At least they have that going for them. read more

I heard Kim's was under new management and was a little sad as I loved the old staff. I decided to try it out and stopped in to get an acrylic fill and pedicure. I waited 30 minutes before anyone helped me which wasn't a big deal as they had a few customers. The employees were screaming at someone on the phone and proceeded to yell curse words in English. When I finally did get helped the guy doing my nails seemed like he had done nails maybe 4 times before me. I ended up not even getting the acrylic fill. Extremely unhappy and disappointed. This review is a long time coming from an experience a couple of years ago. When daughter had a manicure that went bad within a couple of hours, he admonished me instead of offering to redo. The French Manicure gel turned blue. The only thing she did was wash her hair. I have no idea what caused it, but it happened before a big school dance which made it all the more unpleasant. It was not a great time for it to happen. He did finally redo the manicure but after being scolded, it left a bad feeling. He may have just been having a bad day, but this first time experience for cost him a potential longtime customer as we were frequent customers of the hair salon next door. Went here for the first time today as a walk-in for a pedicure and I'm so happy I did! They did a great job, the water temperature was perfect, and the extra money for the pedicure with the additional massage was well worth it! Went to get a broken nail replaced and a filling. The place is nice and they welcomed me in with a bottle of water. But the way my gel manicure looked at the end was not good. The shape of my nails was made poorly. I asked for the coffin style (squared) but the final result was rounded and not symmetric, I requested twice to have a matte coat but the person misunderstood me so I had to remind him after he was done. Another member of the staff had to finish it for him. I was so unsatisfied with the final result I had to buy the matte coat and do it myself. I think the facility is nice and the staff is good, but my personal experience is enough to prevent me from coming back. read more

Worst pedi I have ever had! The girl nicked two of my toes! They were not only bleeding, but it hurt really bad. I tried to talk to the girl, but she did not speak English, so I explained the situation to the owner, but she did not seem to care. It seemed like this was the girls first time doing a pedicure; she had red nail polish all over my toes. She was so slow that it was actually painful to watch her. When it came time to pay, I paid cash. When I got to my car, I counted my change, and I was short changed by $5. I will never go back there again.
