I am currently on a hunt for a nail salon in St. Peters since I just moved to the area. I walked in and was taken on the spot for two pedis and a fill with gel. I was asked if I just wanted the basic pedicure and said yes before I asked about any others. The basic pedicure was $33 and they even used hot stones during the leg massage. All their polish colors are in style and they have a variation of colors to choose from. The pedi bowls have massage chairs and a cup holder. Three TVs to watch with different shows . Acrylics is what I'm super picky on. My tech was professional but quiet. Did all the extras I expected and needed such as the cleaning underneath the nails and shape. Acrylic fill with gel was $40- very very reasonable! My only complaint was that the gel top coat was put on sloppy compared to the rest so I have a couple nails with "wings" or flip ups. I would recommend this place because they were clean, efficient, and good at what they do. read more

My daughter and I came in and thankfully no wait. We came at 330 on a Sunday. We told them we wanted matching nails. They were nice in the beginning then did a complete 180. They didn't ask us what package we wanted or anything. They just kept doing different things and adding it on without asking such as scrubs, massaging, and so much more. They didn't even come close to what we asked for. The gentleman went to add jewels and I told him no and he argued with me and added glitter anyways. I have social anxiety and so I just refused to say anything because when I did try to say no, they just argued with me The lines are very uneven and I feel like I have flames on my toes. read more

HORRIBLE Went for a new set on two different occasions about a month or so apart. The first set was not shaped as I requested but wasn't too far off so no big deal. The next time I came in Tina was in such a rush she cut my finger so bad she split my finger with the nail file then proceeded to cut me cuticles with the drill because she's in a rush & trying to look around the shop while trying to shape my nails. I asked for coffin nails & the shape is no where near coffin. My first set cost $50, a month or so later for the same exact set length & everything they charged me $53 because they knew I wasn't going to tip since Tina was rude & cutting me up. When I asked Angie why they're charging that they kept talking over one another giving excuses why it's $3 more with no legit reason. I'll never go back or recommend this shop to anybody!! Now I have to wait for my cuts to heal before I can even get my nails fixed. read more

Angie and her crew are amazing! As a gay man, it's always hit or miss when I go into a nail salon (whether or not I'll get nasty stares/ treatment). I've been going to QNails for about a year and from the start, they accepted me with open arms. I always feel welcome and know I will get in and out with beautiful nails within an hour. I just show whoever is doing my nails a photo from pinterest and they do it EXACTLY as the photo. Since the remodel, it seems like a very high-end place. I have been going to Q Nails for my manicures and pedicures for quite a long time and have always been satisfied until yesterday. A friend shared a review that a friend of hers had written about the employees at Q not only refusing service to a young woman who has a disability (which is flat out ILLEGAL) but also came out of the shop to harass her mom as she sat in her van. I am the parent of a young man who also has a physical and mental disability and while I have never brought him into the shop with me I have talked about him all time as he is the light of my life. Reading Dorothy's review made my blood boil and brought tears to my eyes, is this really where we are in 2018? A nail salon does not get to decide "what wheelchair accessible meant". I think it is time for the ownership of Q Nails to do some research and find out what the expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act are before they find themselves in far more hot water than negative Yelp reviews. read more

Beth is in a wheelchair due to a car accident 7 years ago , but her ears and feelings work just like yours and mine ...what started as exciting outting with Beth's mom Dorothy as well as her nurse , turned into Beth's feeling being crushed . Let me just start by saying I called before and was told it was going to be a 30 minute wait. I come in and there's about 6 people getting their feet done and 3 getting their nails done w/ about 5 workers! The manager is very disrespectful!! She told me to pick out a color as I'm going through looking for my color she comes and snatches the color pallet out my hand and takes it to somebody that's been sitting there getting their feet done! I normally don't even go here because I don't like how they conduct business to begin with but I decided to give them another try. 0/10 wouldn't recommend to my enemy! I am a regular customer at Q Nails and have not experienced any issues. I noticed there were 4 people who posted within the last 4 days with negative comments because of one post. I like to ask all the comments except for Dorothy as why you jumped on the bandwagon without hearing the salon's side of their story? I'm not saying what they did or didn't do was right or wrong since I was not there on the day that the incident happens. Perhaps it's just a big miscommunication between both parties. I will never return to this "salon." I use the term "salon" loosely. The facility is filthy. This becomes painstakingly obvious as you sit In their torn up chairs. However, by the time I was uncomfortable enough to leave my pedicure was well underway. That brings me to another issue; their tools. Their tools were store in a plastic caddie. The same tools are used on everyone! The women pedicuring my feet trimmed her fingernail with the same tools she used on my toes right in front of me!!! I had a pedicure here today and won't be back. The place is run down in general and the shop was not clean. The chairs were all torn, stained and dirty and I wish I hadn't stayed for the whole pedicure. As it was, I told them not to use many of the tools on my feet so I could get out of there more quickly. I just wasn't sure they steriflized anything since the state of the place was so poor. It would have been so awkward to leave after I was immediately told to sit in a pedi chair upon arrivng. The woman who did my pedicure was very friendly, and conversed with me while she worked. She massage my calves for quite some time, and it felt great. I have been going to Q-nails for 15 years ( been in business 16 ) and I have NEVER had any trouble with the employees. They are always friendly, caring, compassionate and helpful. I had two foot surgeries and they treated me with care and kindness. Before anyone passes judgement, maybe you should get the whole story ( from both sides ). And yes, I saw the channel 5 story.
