And now go twice a month Through out the last 15 years I have had times where due to my family giving me a gift card or because of heavy financial constraint I have seen other massage therapist. Every time with other massage therapist I have been disappointed. I have never had massage outside Metro the spa that is as good as RC. There has been a few time when due to my schedule I had another massage therapist besides RC at Metro and they have all been amazing as well. He works hard to hire qualified individuals! Specifically about RC and how he gives a massage. He listens, before each massage he asks how are you feeling and will adjust the massage based on what is bothering you. You DO NOT get a cookie cutter massage. Also I have to rave about that fact that I have been getting a deep tissue massage and it is done in such a way I am still relaxed and can get my "massage drunk". His skill, knowldge of the muscles and flow of the massage are superior. Another huge bonus to going to Metro is when you get an hour massage, you get the full hour. All other places I have been to give a 5 minute undress and 5 minute dress time. Which means your massage is 50 minutes max. And those places generally would always short you even more time. Most of the times I had massage at Massage Lux and it was about 40 mins from hands on to hands off so they could turn the room over quicker. You will not get shorted at Metro. I will add that because you get your full time sometimes they run a little behind. So do not be in a hurry or have any plans after your massage. As for pricing. Their prices are comparable if not lower than any other place I have gone too. And the service is top quality. Highly recommend Metro the Spa and RC!!

Unfortunately, the service was not done properly. Multiple areas were missed, the technique was rough (including re-waxing the same sensitive area), and I left with significant irritation and bumps. I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and I had chosen this spa specifically because I wanted to feel safe and confident in the provider's experience. I reached out afterward and was offered a "touch-up," but with the irritation I experienced, it didn't feel safe to continue. This was not the level of care or professionalism I expected, and I'm really disappointed given the spa's previous reputation.

My wax, which I had my eyebrows done, was great. I really appreciated the attention to detail on not just wax, but also making them less long and plucking the stragglers well. I also have a piercing, and the care around it was well-appreciated. The room and table was comfortable, and it didn't feel awkward at all. The climate control was perfect too, which i greatly appreciate since many businesses are so cold to me! I definitely think we will be back! We may even sign up for a package deal.

I did have an early appointment and since having never been here before I arrived early so I wouldn't be late. They did open their doors a little early before they actually opened. I didn't want to be that customer/client who tries to get in early so I just waited lol The woman at the front desk was super nice and helped me check in and let me know that Katie would just be a moment while she prepped her station for me. I had been up since 5am and really didn't want to fall asleep because I wanted to know what the process was and what was being done. Small chit chat didn't keep my attention so I did almost fall asleep. The service was fine? I guess? My lashes on the left eye like didn't take? Not sure if it was because of how it was done or the product that was used? The right eye seemed to work fine. I thought maybe I just needed to put on mascara to really see the difference. I followed after care instructions to a tee! Didn't touch, didn't put on make up for over 24 hours, didn't have them touch water, didn't sleep on my face... The next day my left lashes were pretty much flat compared to my right eye. Ugh. I did get a follow up call to see how my lashes were doing but I was at my bridal shower so there was no way I was gonna stop partying to take that call. I did follow up with them that Monday about how they turned out. They said I could come in so they could fix it for me. I thought, oh wow awesome! They asked for a time that would be best. I said it would be cutting it close for 3:45pm since I get off work at 3:30pm but they said they'd still take me if I got there no later than 3:48pm or something. So they put me on the book for a lash lift fix and I get the email to confirm. So that day I was scheduled, I HAUL ASS because I know time is money, only to be told that they wouldn't be able to do anything. What. Why have me drive out there to tell me that? This could've been a phone call. I get they need to see the lashes but... this could've been communicated to me beforehand. I felt like it was such a waste of my time and money. And then I was told I could come back in the recommended 4 weeks, but I'd still have to pay the same amount... lol why would I pay for a service that didn't work the first time? They offered to comp $20 but that was after I asked. It's just shocking they don't stand by their product. I have gotten my hair done at multiple places (I've moved around a lot), nails done at multiple locations and they offer to fix that service and comp it (if there's anything wrong, which is rare but at least it's offered) And those services are much more expensive than a $70 lash lift. It was really shocking. Take what you will from this review, but I will not be coming back.

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the atmosphere--the interior is beautiful, calming, and thoughtfully designed. The lighting alone is worth paying for. It's soft, warm, and sets the mood perfectly. Honestly, I'd pay just to sit in that room and unwind. As for the massage therapists--incredible. Both of them were professional, attentive, and genuinely gifted at what they do. They checked in about pressure, focused exactly where we needed, and worked in perfect sync for the couples session. My partner and I walked out feeling lighter, looser, and more relaxed than we've felt in a long time.
