I can not believe I am just writing this review. I started going to metro the spa over 15 years ago for massages. I consider massages a part of my health. And now go twice a month Through out the last 15 years I have had times where due to my family giving me a gift card or because of heavy financial constraint I have seen other massage therapist. Every time with other massage therapist I have been disappointed. I have never had massage outside Metro the spa that is as good as RC. There has been a few time when due to my schedule I had another massage therapist besides RC at Metro and they have all been amazing as well. He works hard to hire qualified individuals! Specifically about RC and how he gives a massage. He listens, before each massage he asks how are you feeling and will adjust the massage based on what is bothering you. You DO NOT get a cookie cutter massage. Also I have to rave about that fact that I have been getting a deep tissue massage and it is done in such a way I am still relaxed and can get my "massage drunk". His skill, knowldge of the muscles and flow of the massage are superior. Another huge bonus to going to Metro is when you get an hour massage, you get the full hour. All other places I have been to give a 5 minute undress and 5 minute dress time. Which means your massage is 50 minutes max. And those places generally would always short you even more time. Most of the times I had massage at Massage Lux and it was about 40 mins from hands on to hands off so they could turn the room over quicker. You will not get shorted at Metro. I will add that because you get your full time sometimes they run a little behind. So do not be in a hurry or have any plans after your massage. As for pricing. Their prices are comparable if not lower than any other place I have gone too. And the service is top quality. Highly recommend Metro the Spa and RC!! read more

Ask for amy sammy or jim for any hair cuts they are the best around they can handle any hair style you want

I arrived ten minutes early for my appointment. I had booked a 60 min facial and a 120 min massage. I waited in the front for 10 min without anyone greeting me. The technician arrived to work late and and my appointment started 15 min late. I was not too upset after all we have all had car problems. The issue is after waiting to be greeted for 10 minutes I had to ask a hairstylist who did not know why the person was wait. Then instead of a 120 min massage the person gave me a 90 min massage. I asked several times to lighten up the pressure (it was right up painful) she continued with too much pressure. I use to go to Metro Spa often several years and it was great. It is a shame the service has gone done hill. read more

I had a group spa birthday at Metro on Saturday. It was nothing short of amazing! The owner was so personable and kind. The staff were so knowledgeable and paid close attention to every detail. Each of us received a massage and a facial. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be my go to every two weeks! I highly recommend this spa. read more

I can't express enough how fantastic the customer service was at Metro the Spa! The massage I received was also top notch. I'll be looking forward to booking another massage and trying other services at Metro the Spa next time. One of my best friends moved to St. Charles and started the next chapter of her life there with her husband and family. Since she was pregnant around the time of her birthday, I was on a mission to find local spas in her area that provided prenatal massage services. I found Metro The Spa on Yelp and noted the highly acclaimed reviews. It helped that it was conveniently located about 5 minutes from my friend's house too. The Metro Spa offered gift certificates, but I wanted to verify a few things before I placed the purchase. I reached out to the spa and was in contact with RC, who I believe is the owner/manager. He was very responsive via email, and the whole transaction went very smoothly. A month later I was planning on being in town for my best friend's baby shower. She didn't use her gift card yet, so we figured it would be fun to get massages together. I corresponded with RC again, and he went above and beyond to make the two appointments happen at the same time and day. Unfortunately on the day of our appointments, only one of the massage therapists showed up (and bless her for trying to damage control the situation by trying to get a hold of the other therapist). It was a bummer that we had to decide on the spot between the two of us, but my best friend graciously declined the appointment since I was her guest in town from California. Despite the snafu, which I'm sure was a misunderstanding, I really appreciated how the staff really tried to make it up to us. I got a discount off my receipt for the inconvenience, and my best friend will have a special discount for her rescheduled appointment. It showed the kind of honest business they run as they hold themselves to customers' satisfaction. I had the 75-min Chakra Balancing massage for my appointment. I'm familiar with the chakra system, so I was highly intrigued by what the massage entailed. Heather was my amazing massage therapist, and she walked me through the process. Prior to the massage I intuitively chose 2 out of 7 chakra cards based on how I was feeling in the moment. Before going into the massage my intention was to recenter and ground myself, so the words "Harmony" and "Grounding" stood out for me on the cards. These words aligned to the heart and root chakras respectively. Heather applied Aveda brand oils that supported the balance of these chakras and used a Swedish/deep tissue combo technique. I felt deeply relaxed after the session. Loved it! read more

This place was wonderful. My husband bought me a gift card here for my birthday. I got to experience the whole works: a mani-pedi, a massage, and a facial. I have never done anything like it before, and it was an amazing experience here. I had three different professionals, and every single one of them knew their craft very well. They were friendly and exuberant, clearly excited to do their jobs and share their time with me. I felt relaxed when I wanted to be relaxed and like I was making friends when I wanted to make friends. I will return. read more

We had a couple massage! It was great! We can say it was one of the best massage we ever had. They were so kind. Let you to pick your own music and mood, be sure that the pressure is the way you want. We will be back! read more

Today my wife and I went for the second time for a couples massage and it was top tier yet again. We hadn't been to Metro since before Covid and clearly that ruined our massage plans for quite sometime. We're so happy we decided to come back because it truly was better than the first time and we still talk about that massage 2 and a half years later. Everyone is very kind and warm not to mention the vibe when actually getting a massage is everything. Thankfully we were able to book another for next month and we already cannot wait to go back! read more

Great experience! My boyfriend and I took a trip to St. Charles and wanted some relaxation so we booked a few services here. Scheduling the appointment was super easy. The rooms were relaxing and clean. Staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job. We both had massages which were wonderful. I also had a facial that was amazing. My skin was GLOWING afterwards. He also had foot reflexology done. He said it was so nice he fell asleep a few times only to wake himself up snoring. I highly recommend this place. They also have their own parking area which is nice. We can't wait to return. read more

I was traveling from out of town on business and found myself midweek with a debilitating head and neck ache. I went on the look out and found this special place! Warm and inviting. Heather is a miracle worker! I can not begin to thank her so I hope by writing a small review and giving the brochure to the hotel will begin to express my gratitude. I highly recommend for Motor the Spa to those looking for a great experience in a clean and easy to find gem! read more

Our evening at Metro far surpassed expectations! Outstanding night at the spa. The birthday girl and crew loved every minute. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you. read more

I have been receiving massage therapy services for over twenty years and I have to say the Ms. Heather at Metro Spa is a miracle worker. Her attention to detail leaves nothing to be desired. I highly recommend making an appointment with her today. You'll get one if the best massages of your life. read more

RC is amazing! Twice on short notice he has accommodated our "Help - I need a massage" request! Last week I sent my husband here for a birthday gift. Hubby was so relaxed from the massage that he just shuffled out the door - didn't want to pick up his feet to walk. My daughter and I also did a couple's massage here for a belated Mother's Day last year. The warm sheets, our own selected soundtrack, aromatherapy diffuser, and soft lights were the perfect atmosphere to such an amazing massage. Truly I was trying not to slur my words when I talked, but I couldn't help it. RC has CBD gummies for sale that some clients use to relax, but I can't imagine that I would need that; the massage alone rendered my muscles jello. Considering I had a massive knot of tension on my shoulder before I went, that's impressive. At Metro the Spa, a 60-minute massage is the FULL 60 minutes, not like some places where they include your changing time as part of the hour. read more

If i could give 10 starts I would!! My boyfriend and I came in for a couples massage and we will definitely be back! All the details are awesome whether it's getting to pick your own relaxation playlist to the hot towels to the essential oils used! Thanks again, we will be back!! read more

One of the best massages I ever had! Got hundreds of massages in my life and Melody, the lady that did my Chakra massage was amazing. Definetly going to come back. read more

Will not go anywhere else for a massage!!! I've been a loyal customer for years and now my family, in-laws, and even husband love coming here! The owner is great and a wonderful masseuse, very knowledgeable as well! Most chain locations end up giving you about a 40 minute massage (per 60 min) by time you get in, sign your paperwork, get to your room, etc. at Metro, your time does not start until you lay down on the massage table. Book a massage at Metro with RC and you will never go to another chain location again! read more

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a couples massage for our anniversary. I was flooded with places on a google search but I found Metro the Spa and was very impressed from the first email. RC answered my questions and set up our appointment. He also made special arrangements for my wife to have a prenatal massage. As a matter of fact RC is one of the only masseuse that have a special pillow to allow a pregnant woman to be on her stomach with no fear of hurting their unborn child or them self. RC did a fantastic job according to my wife. I had Michelle and she did the best job on me that I have ever had. I will definitely return to Metro next time we need a message and I would definitely recommend you check out their other services as well. Give them a shot the only thing you have to lose is your stress. read more

I love this place!! My best friend and I go get "couples massages" in there together. The staff is always very welcoming and make you feel comfortable. We have a blast every time and the massages are incredible with fair pricing! I'd come here before going to a chain anyway! Thanks RC for always making us feel welcome! read more

We received a gift certificate from our children for a couples massage and it was a wonderful experience! The staff is very knowledgeable and gave us each a massage that was not only relaxing, but targeted our problem areas that were discussed beforehand. We will definitely return to Metro the Spa for future massages! Thank you! read more

3 of us came for a special treat, and it was wonderful. Holly gives a wonderful facial, Ginny's massage was very therapeutic, excellent pedicure, the owner, RC, was very helpful in arranging the afternoon for us. We will be back! read more

I did a spa package which included a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. The massage was mediocre, the facial was mediocre and the women would not quit talking. The manicure and pedicure were DISGUSTING, they did not clean ANY of their supplies. They ran out of everything they were using. It was awful. I will never go here again. read more
