First time going to Every Body Massage & I found a Groupon for a 90 min Deep Tissue Massage so I booked w/ Laura & figured why not try it! BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD I've been getting massages here & there since I was young (former gymnast here) & let me tell you-- this was the FIRST time I actually felt like I got a massage that was 1) ACTUALLY worth it! 2) ACTUALLY deep tissue and 3) with a masseuse that I would WANT to specifically go back to! Laura was absolutely amazing- from a warm & kind demeanor, checked in with me about pressure (and ACTUALLY giving me DEEP pressure like I said I wanted!), & one of my favorite things was before we even began I was asked if there were any areas that I was NOT okay with being massaged! (never been asked that before at a massage but I think that is just a really awesome way to help clients feel safe, informed, and gives them a chance to speak up if there are any areas they prefer not be massaged! Way to go Laura! ) Overall 10/10 & will most definitely be going back soon! read more

I have been coming to this location for a long time to see an independent massage therapist who works out of the building, and unfortunately, an ongoing issue with an uncontrolled dog has reached the point where I feel compelled to leave a review. There is a small white dog named Tucker who is routinely allowed to roam the premises unleashed and unmanaged. He is reactive, barks at clients, runs toward people, and jumps on them. This is not an isolated incident. Today, Tucker was at the entrance barking at me when I arrived, so I waited outside until his owner retrieved him before entering. Once I was inside, she put him back down, and he immediately ran toward me and began jumping on me. I had to physically push him away while she called for him. She eventually retrieved him and took him around the corner. A short time later, Tucker came running back toward me again. At that point, I had to go into a bathroom and close the door to get away from him while waiting for his owner to retrieve him. This is unacceptable in a professional establishment. For clarity, my objection is not to dogs being present. There are other dogs in this building, including a working service dog and another small dog, and I have never had an issue with them. The issue is allowing a reactive dog to roam freely and repeatedly approach and jump on clients without effective restraint or management. I understand this has been an ongoing concern, which makes the continued lack of management particularly frustrating. Clients should be able to enter and move through a business without being barked at, jumped on, pursued, or forced to hide in a bathroom to avoid someone's dog. Tucker needs to be leashed, contained, or kept out of client-accessible areas. Allowing this to continue is irresponsible and unfair both to clients and to the dog. read more

Wow-- I feel like a new person after my 75 minute Swedish massage! First visit this year and I am always reminded that I should make this a recurring experience. This time I brought my partner along for his very first massage and he was floored. He was hesitant to start but left feeling rejuvenated and even joked that he was scheduling his next appointment on the spot. We will be back! read more

This place is incredible! I was visiting in town, and I had quite a lot of shoulder pain. In desperation, I scheduled a massage here with Janice. She was so talented. I am already feeling so much better!! Thank you, Janice! I will be back! read more

I purchased an $80 massage here through Groupon. I needed to cancel due to a family emergency and the owner, Connie was very rude and not at all understanding. She charged me half price of the massage price, $56 which was way more than the Groupon price i paid for. I will never be back to this company. I could not believe the way I was talked to from an owner of a professional business. When we got off the phone she said, "Next time maybe you'll read the fine print". Absolutely disgraceful. Save your money and take your business to a place that cares about its customers. read more

Every Body Massage is our favorite local massage spot. The place is clean and comfortable and every therapist we've ever used has been great. Janice is my favorite as she seems to hit all the right spots with all the right pressure. During COVID they have been taking great precautious limiting the people in the waiting area, sanitizing everything, masking - I have felt comfortable going even through the pandemic. In addition to their great massages they also have some hand made balms and oils and such made by one of the therapists! So, you really get to support a local business and local people by patronizing this place! The building appears to be an old medical building, a dentists office I think. This makes some of the décor a little strange but they've done a great job turning it into a relaxing spa-like atmosphere. The service is truly top notch! The only thing that brings it down a star is that the soundproofing isn't great in there. You can frequently hear road traffic and in at least some of the rooms you can hear the toilet flushing in the bathroom which is clearly not the most relaxing of sounds lol. Despite these minor flaws I never hesitate to get a massage here. Though their prices are great, sometimes you can find a Groupon for this place too so check it out and maybe you can get a discount on your first visit. I highly recommend you try Everybody massage for your next massage therapy visit! read more

There was a slight miscommunication on my first visit so I left a review about it. The owner then sent me a message and was able to figure out the source of my frustration and help me out. This made me very excited to go back as I always value a company that strives to be the best. And I love throwing money at family owned businesses, and this is one I will be returning to. read more

Out of towner came in for a massage accompanied by my son. Wow! Thoroughly impressed with everything about this facility. Calming. Quiet. Massage by Fred was amazing, relaxing, and completely refreshing. So appreciate the time and effort to make me feel comfortable and ensure knots were worked out. Loved it. My son had Alma do his massage and he was super pleased with his experience too! Highly recommend this place! read more

I unfortunately had terrible customer service here. My massage started 20 minutes late, and while it was a nice massage, the person giving it was extremely flustered and seemed like THEY needed massage. afterwards they couldn't figure out how to use the gift certificate I had. I paid for it and then had to call the next day for a refund. They refunded me 8$ less than the value of my certificate so I then had to call again. I relayed my experience and didn't receive as much as an apology. Won't be going back. read more

This place is amazing! I've never got a bad massage but Connie is my absolute favorite for a couple years now. I tend to have back problems but regular massages keeps on top of that and I never hurt. It is so amazing to to know that this highly relaxing experience means that I don't have to hurt again. Connie has been out lately and Ketra has been an excellent backup. I'd highly recommend you giving them a call and explaining what you are looking for - I have full faith that Connie will make sure you are matched with a fantastic therapist so matter what you are looking for. Too much gardening! I set up an appointment and Mary was my massage therapist. I can't rave on her enough. She knows the difference between firm and too firm. She listened to what I needed and really worked those areas. I recommend her if you want someone that loves what she does and understands how the body works. So glad I gave them a try! read more

Had my first massage from every body massage on Chippewa. My massage therapist was Katie. She did an incredible job. She was able to work out a few of the issues I was having with my back and shoulders. I was very comfortable there. The place was incredibly clean. It was the first time I had a 90 minute massage instead of 60. Definitely worth the extra. I'll be back in a few weeks.... read more

My fiancé and I had been looking to get a couples massage for quite some time and finally found both the time and the spot. The folks at Every Body were fantastic. The environment is calming and our massages were exactly what we were looking for. We left feeling that our tight areas were properly massaged with an appropriate amount of pressure, but not to the point of abject pain. They checked in with us to ensure they were hitting the right spots with the amount of pressure we were looking for and we both felt extremely satisfied. If you're looking for a place to go here in STL, please don't hesitate to give Every Body Massage a try! read more

First time visiting today, and wow... Connie gave me a fantastic massage! I visited to loosen up my back and shoulders because I felt like I had a nerve pinching. I wanted "very firm" pressure, and that is what she delivered. Definitely in the top two massages I've ever had. Will go back again to support this small business! read more

had a couples massage here with anne and katie who did a phenomenal job! they both took the time to get our trouble areas. we were both extremely relaxed after! the place, in general, is LGBTQ affirming and asks what your preferred pronouns are on the paperwork which was an amazing bonus! we will definitely be back! read more

I had originally made an appointment with Candice (saw good reviews about her), but got switched with Connie instead (which I was fine with). I haven't had a massage in 10 months due to a surgery, so I decided to finally get one after finding a deal on Groupon. My friend also recommended this place as well, so I decided to give it a whirl even though I'm normally picky with my massages. By golly that was THE BEST massage!! I feel like a brand new person after it! No more knots and tight shoulders! I highly recommend Connie and will be back!! read more

Every Body Massage is truly the best place to go for massages! I have been going there for several years. My boyfriend and I came across this little spot on Groupon as we were looking for a couples massage for our anniversary. The location is a little hard to find (an old office building on the corner) but inside was very clean. Massages were great - we had Ketra and Katie and both were fabulous. Katie had the pressure I was comfortable with spot on and she was very thorough with the full body - also, I assume she has experience with reflexology because she gave probably the best foot massage I've ever had. We left there feeling wonderful. They have phenomenal customer service both over the phone and in person, and were very professional. The only complaint we had was that there wasn't any scents or aromatherapy going on. I know a lot of cheaper places charge extra for that kind of thing, but I believed this was a nicer place that would at least mask the scent of the 1970's office space. Don't get me wrong, the experience was awesome and I would highly recommend, but the atmosphere wasn't as up to par as other places we've been. read more

I love this local massage place! It's tucked away in a former dentist's office near Drive-In Donuts (another place I love), and is clean and quiet and comfortable. I went about a year ago with a Groupon and had Kristin who gave me a fabulous whole body massage. The only reason I didn't go back until yesterday is because I just don't indulge myself in massages often enough! Yesterday I went because I had the most painful cramp in my shoulder and neck, almost in tears and nauseous from the pain that had been increasing for 3 days straight. It was super easy to get on the website and sign up for a same day appointment. Yesterday I had Caitlin who gave me an equally fabulous massage. Neither time did I have to ask for stronger pressure, and only once or twice yesterday did I have to ask for a bit lighter pressure. The lotions they use didn't leave me feeling too greasy, and actually my skin was really happy about whatever it was that Caitlin used on me. And the icing on the self-care cake is that my shoulder/neck pain is 90% better today. Maybe even 95%. That's a win. read more

I'm always hesitant to leave poor reviews for small businesses; but when we choose a small business to support, we often base our decision on the reviews. It is located in a old office building, which is fine. We got a really nice deal on Groupon for a couple's massage, so we wanted to check it out. We filled out a questionnaire when we arrived asking our preferences, medical issues, where we liked our massage to be focused, etc. I wrote down that I wanted medium pressure and that I had lower back pain and shoulder pain. We got into the room and the therapists reviewed what we wrote down on our paper with us. They wanted clarifications and asked questions and were very thorough, which was nice. However, once my massage therapist started, she applied really deep pressure. I initially told her that deep pressure was okay for my lower back, but I only wanted medium pressure everywhere else. I had to tell her twice that she was applying too much pressure because it didn't feel good, it was actually very painful for a good portion. Also, I felt as though she didn't focus a lot on the areas that I wrote down. I could also hear everyone outside of the room talking, which made it difficult to fully relax. When the massage was over, they left the room and told us they would meet us at the front desk. When they left, they did not close our door; so we had to get up, with no clothes on, and shut it. When we went to the front desk, my therapist said that my gluteals were very tight and she may have "gotten carried away" with the pressure. What that tells me is that my preferences were not kept in mind, even after telling her she was applying too much pressure. read more
