Annie is amazing! My nails are not easy to maintain - and as I'm sure some females don't want to admit, likely some males too, you get ingrown toenails. I'm unfortunately one of those people. Stopped in to visit I Heart Nails today for a way overdue pedi. Annie focused on all of my neglected issues and really helped take care of me. She's friendly, professional and just an absolute sweetheart! I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone I come in contact with. Improvements definitely need to be made at this location. Warning fellow yelpers. This location has indeed a yelp sticker on the window expressing this is a business that yelpers love and support. However we are not welcomed here at anytime. The business owner herself lets you know she has enough customers and you can leave. I did tell her I saw the yelp sticker and felt this was a safe place but was told abruptly that I should leave. I feel we should honor her request. She does not want us we should not go to this location. With the power YELP has invested with in me. I kindly issue no stars. And I ask kindly that we leave this shop owner in peace as she requested. Beware again a yelp sign is indeed in the window but we are not welcomed here. Stay peaceful respectful and just leave when asked. read more

I went to I Heart Nails today for the first time. Ben started working on my nails right at 5 when my appointment was, no waiting. I showed him a picture of the shape and length I wanted and he made sure they matched the photo perfectly. He was precise and careful but worked quickly, always checking his work between steps for my full set of acrylics. While Ben worked on my nails, Andrew, his brother and one of the owners sat next to me and we had a great conversation. He asked about things like my nail needs, how I found them, told me the story of the salon's background. It's a family salon started by him and his wife and they expanded to add their siblings as business picked up. It's a wonderful place with amazing quality. STAY AWAY - I had the most uncomfortable experience here. Ben and Colleen are owners and MARRIED, and while I was getting my pedicure done, Colleen was warning me that her husband is flirty. Ben was MORE THAN flirty - he asked me out to dinner, he told me he can just "he can go wherever he wants after work", then asked where about I lived and told me multiple times that he was going to show up at my place. He even said "You don't have to give me your name or number - I have it because you made a reservation." Despite me rejecting his advances, he would NOT STOP. There were also multiple other red flags- he told me I had to go use the bathroom to wash my hands instead of using the sink in the main room, the bathroom door would not lock, and when I came back out, he kept telling me to drink my coffee, which I lost sight of when I went into the restroom. In 1 hour and 50 minutes there, I had a pedicure and he was still shaping my nails and he said "I am taking so long because I want to hold your hands a little longer". I told him multiple times it was not funny, and he would not let up. I will never be back and girls - if you want to risk it, bring a friend. Do not go alone. I felt UNSAFE. read more

I started booking pedicures with Colleen and have been 3-4 times in the last few months. The staff is friendly and skilled. They appear to know everyone by name as they enter. It's the "Cheers" version of a nail salon. I struggle with ingrown toenails. Darn things just like to be a challenge. Colleen is very knowledgeable and skilled at providing relief! I'm very happy! I pay $25 for what I would call a basic pedicure. That's within the average range. I like it because they play kind of a zen cafe selection of music and the the TV screen just has one still picture and no random loud movies or shows. Everything is clean and sanitized. I really like that they set a timer for 10 minutes when they seat you at the dryers. When the timer goes off, they get up and walk to the front to check you out. No waiting. I find it a pleasant and friendly experience overall. I recommend you give them a try. read more

I visited this salon for a dip manicure because my regular place was closed due to the coronavirus scare. I was really impressed! I got a great manicure, the guy was fast, and the place was super clean. One of the employees (or owner?) was cleaning the entire time I was there. They are doing a very good job to disinfect and keep themselves and customers safe. Go patron this place in these slow-business times! read more

Wouldn't recommend this place, used to like it. But they called the cops on me and my mom because we wanted to reschedule our appointments for different days and they got mad because Sunday is their busy day so they had the cops come to their shop to tell us not to come back lol ok who cares. There's literally too many nail shops in St. Louis too care that much about them declining our services for rescheduling. They also have like a daycare on the other side so if you want some relaxation I wouldn't recommend! read more

I really love this place! I started coming here over a year ago after reading the Yelp reviews. Colleen does my nails, and I have been very happy. This is a small family salon, and Annie, Colleen, and Ben couldn't be nicer. It's best to make an appointment, since they can all get booked up at times. One time I didn't call far enough in advance to get an appointment with Colleen, but I was able to see Ben, and he did a fantastic French Manicure for me. Their kids are usually in the back and are the cutest and very well behaved. I also enjoy listening to their stories. It's always an interesting time. Used Yelp to discover this absolute gem and so glad that I did! I've had my nails done by several other salons over the years, and this is hands down the best by far. Got a subdued look today for a new job, but I can guarantee my next visit will include some of Annie's fantastic artistic designs. Her and her entire staff/family were so great to talk to and made me feel very welcome. I also loved the relaxing atmosphere. Instead of TVs and average music filling the air with white noise, the room was filled with soothing spa music and pleasant nature scenes on the TVs. Nice staff. Nice massage chairs with the pedicure. Beautiful manicure however the polish color selection process was rushed. Staff's children running around was cute but somewhat annoying. I would recommend this establishment but definitely do speak up for what you want or need. Having the the pedicure clients staring right at the manicure process and vice versa is simply awkward. read more

I went with another person and they said they could only give one of us a pedicure because there was only one person who could do it; which we found quite stupid. Im also not sure what her name was but for the most part i thought it was a good pedicure except for that the "warm towel" was cold. but once i had a chance to see it afterwards when she had finished i saw that the polish was splotchy. read more

I had a pedicure done today at I Heart Nails. The salon is very clean and calming. There is not a "chemical smell" like at some nail places. There were 4 people working, so I had to come back later. I appreciated that I was told this information and given a specific time to come back. The gentleman that did my pedicure was polite, friendly and efficient.
