This is a tough one to review. I made reservations for 3 pedicures, thinking they would be all at once. When we arrived we realized there was only 1 employee so we would go one after another. I didn't have time to sit around for over an hour so I left. However my partner and mother-in-law stayed. They said he was nice and very through. This is a wonderful salon with excellent service. Lucy convinced me to get a dip manicure after I had bad luck with a gel manicure from an expensive nail salon in Frontenac (it started chipping after 2 days, went back and they repaired it, but it chipped again). Lucy's dip manicure was strong and lasted three weeks. It was growing out so I went back for a second dip. Excellent and friendly service, once again! I'll keep going back to Lucy. read more

My daughter wanted to get get her nails done, choose the lenght and shape, but was told it takes to long. When I called to make an appointment I said what she wants, but instead the lady just painted her nails with gel nail polish. On top of that the color on one hand is slightly lighter than the other, and some of her nails are bumpy. My daugther does a better job at home doing exactly what was done at the salon. She was even told she can't use two colors (like french manicure) because it takes two long. Would not recommend. read more

I was completely disappointed in this place. The nail tech had a filthy cover coat on and the salon itself was dirty. The nail tech of "ten years" had never heard of a no chip manicure. There was no evidence that any tools were disinfected, the soaking bowls were dirty and the towel that was given to me to dry my hands was dirty. The polish was put on so thick it never dried. The price is really reasonable for the services you received (I was specifically looking for a "spa experience" that would include hot stone AND massage as part of the pedicure service). Nora Nails and Spa is amazing. I love all her body products as well. I use the Jasmine soap and her Coconut Bar. The best products ever! I have extreme eczema and these products really work on my skin. She also does amazing gel nails that last a very long time. I work on the computer all day so it's hard for me to keep nails. The staffs up there is so sweet and very helpful. You must give them a try. Great prices for mani-pedi services, I was really impressed with the quality and price. They also do messages and other services. Ask about there body products, all natural no chemical in them. It really calms my eczema and clears it up. Hands down the most thoughtful pedicure I've ever had. I don't know if it's standard, but he rubbed my feet for over half an hour I don't really care what the paint looked like after that, my calluses are gone and my feet feel fantastic. This is by far my favorite place in town to get my nails done. Each of the women that work here are sweet and very good at what they do, I've never left feeling like someone did a poor job. I regularly get gel manicures and pedicures here and am impressed with the quality of the work. My manicures last a full three weeks but I usually don't wait that long to come back.
