Beautiful location. The inside is very plush and modern. It just feels clean and I love the pampered feel. The parking is good. There's additional parking in the back. I made an appointment 2 weeks prior on there website and it was fairly simple. They have a kiosk to sign in with sanitizer near so that germs are kept at a minimum. Cons: They were understaffed so there's a small wait Pros: EVERYTHING ELSE They do sanitize after every customer and I did appreciate that sincerely. Pedicure: Hayley did an amazing job: My natural nails grow really long but since I've been lifting weights they have been extremely short. All of the designs that I had planned were mainly for my nails at its long state. Hayley was patient and happy to help me decide a simple but cute design. We literally sat through going through Pinterest. I suggested doing a butterfly so she gave me that. There was something missing so I suggested that she used dots to show the path of the butterfly and she did. We both loved it and enjoyed many laughs. Manicure: Mandy did a great job. We honestly low key had girl talk during the pedicure. She was fast but paid attention to detail. She made sure my feet soaked for ample amount of time and actually suggested which pedicure to get for the best results. The massage she gave was amazing! My calf felt so relieved. I left with my feet being super soft and hydrated. Mandy is so sweet she constantly checks to make sure you have everything you need. She also gave some food suggestions to try while in time. I have received pedicures from Iris Nails for the past year on a fairly regular basis. Everything is pristine, the service is top notch, the end result is always of top professional grade. The shop is very nicely decorated. Not too much stuff on the walls, very serene. One time I visited and there were workers in the basement drilling through concrete, making my experience not so serene. One of the ladies called the building manager and asked that they please wait on drilling until customers are completed. They obliged and my appointment was all that I expected. I was excited to go to this place because it's legit a two minute walk from my house, and when I first walked in it smelled so good, and the lady was so nice to me. She told me to sit w a man for my full set, he doesn't make any conversation with me, I tell him my nail is crooked and he tries to file it to fix it, he continues to do my nails and I get to the register and I'm looking at my nails and just not happy at all with them, he tells me told 60 for full set and 15 for French tip, which he didn't say it would be 15 extra when I asked for French tip, and he doesn't tell me total just hands me the card reader I had to ask twice what the total was and he said 85, no problem for me but I feel like I should get a discount because my nail is literally crooked. Then he proceeds to say I said it was fine (which I did not) and argue w me. So I get out 15 to tip because I'm still going to tip, I work in the service industry and he tells me he doesn't need my tip or my money. I made a day-of appointment to get my nails done, which was great that they could fit me in. They were welcoming but most of all they are amazing artists. My nails look better than I ever imagined! I also really appreciated that they printed an invoice before starting on my nails, so that I knew how much the design etc. would be. I've never seen this done at a salon before so it was nice to have clear expectations and be on the same page as each other. Having been in the beauty industry for over 30 years, these are all highly concerning. The description she chose had paraffin wax as a treatment but the technician skipped that step. The toes were not filed enough and the polish was bumpy. Dropping oil onto wet polish doesn't make it dry faster. The manicure- polish was not even and chipped by end of the day. Showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted, when she was struggling with the design, I said I could show her something different & mentioned that a different nail tech did it last time & she could maybe help. I tried to explain to the other nail tech what was happening and kept getting I interrupted, Which led to each of them arguing with me. I knew service was going to be fantastic when Mandy texted an hour before my scheduled appointment and advised they were running behind. She asked if I wouldn't mind coming in 30 minutes later - so as to not wait in their salon, but to kill a few more minutes at home. Never has a nail salon reached out and give me a heads up they were running behind - which I truly appreciated! I thought "Ok, THIS is customer service!" I was not disappointed! The pedicure I got was very nice and relaxing. The salon itself is beautiful as well! However my nails were just very average. I included a photo of my nails one week after getting them done and I know they aren't going to look perfect but the top coat of my dip started peeling off the day after I left the salon. About 4 days later they started to crack. Now they just look super dingy and gross. I know manicures aren't supposed to last like a month but I feel like after a week this is a little upsetting. I had a mani pedi here a couple weeks ago. I'll start with the cons because I really want to leave this review on a positive note... Cons: Not the cleanest or most luxurious nail salon I've been to. However tools appeared to be sterilized so that's the most important thing I guess Choosing your colors- the nail polishes are displayed on the wall in a dark corner and all mixed together very disorganized. Website advertised complimentary drink and manicure-pedicure kit. Did not get either of these. I did end up being offered some water halfway through my mani but to me that doesn't count. I was not asked what type of manicure I wanted. I planned to get the most expensive one but ended up with just a basic mani which was fine. Pros: Kind and friendly staff. Finished product. My mani pedi looked truly flawless when I left!!! And my pedicure still looks perfect weeks later. The massage Lana gave during my pedicure was soo amazing The music!! I loved the jazz they had playing and the peaceful atmosphere. It was my 30th birthday so i was a little disappointed that it wasn't as nice as the pictures and I wasn't offered a drink or a higher level manicure but they did a good job on my nails so in the end feel like I can't complain much. I've definitely been to worse places. Overall if you're looking for someplace high-end and luxurious this is probably not it but I'm very happy with the finished product. read more

Everything was cleaned properly and they even had plastic separators so none of the dust and stuff in the air comes to you. I loved my nail technician Mandi, she took the picture I had and turned it into a way better version. She made sure every little detail was to my liking and that I was comfortable. I live in Nashville, TN, but have been staying in St. Louis for the majority of the Covid-19 pandemic. Before all the stay at home orders, I got pedicures on a regular basis for well over 20 years (every 2-3 weeks, like clockwork), so to say I was beyond ready to get my toes done after 10 weeks of no pedicures was an understatement. With the help of Yelp I found Iris Nails and was able to make an appointment through their website. I had never been there, and was still feeling a little cautious and apprehensive about going to any salon because of the virus, but their web site and confirmation email said they were adhering to strict CDC guidelines for salons, so I grabbed my mask and went. Iris Nails was not joking when they said they were taking every precaution. They were working on an appointment-only basis to limit the amount of people in the salon. They have a total of 16 manicure tables and pedicure chairs, and there were only three customers when i was there, and they even turned away someone who didn't have an appointment. They required everyone to wear a mask, kept the front door locked and took my temperature by ear, before I was allowed to go inside. I had to sign in on an iPad, but they had a giant bottle of hand sanitizer and requested I use it before touching the iPad. The salon itself was very clean, bright and comfortable, and they had professionally installed plexiglass partitions at every nail station and pedicure chair, so that only the technicians hands and the clients' hands or feet could comfortably go underneath it. Tim did a great job on my pedicure and I felt very safe and comfortable the entire time I was there. So, if you are looking for a place that is taking all the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their clients from the coronavirus, and does good work, I would highly recommend Iris Nails, and will be going back there myself, if I'm still in St. Louis in two weeks. read more

I've talked to Liza before and Rachel has fixed my nails. You can't go wrong with anyone at this salon. I recommend you make an appointment during the pandemic. They take your temperature before letting you in the spa. You have to sanitize your hands before you check in. There's plexiglass at every station and every foot spa.
