one of the worst pedicures I've ever had, and the older lady that was doing it was rude. she had an attitude and was very short with me from the start, she didn't ask me what shape I wanted, if I wanted gel or regular. I wanted a light pink color. She picked out this bright almost orange color and didn't even ask me if I like it. she only massaged one of my feet, was obviously rushing through the entire process. she cut me with the electric file because she was rushing, mind you there was only one other person in the store getting their nails done. It was completely empty in there. there was no hospitality at all. then when it came time to pay she insisted that I tip her, which I always do, but it was like she was expecting me not to. very very uncomfortable situation. she also got the polish all over my feet.... not just my toes. read more

I love my nail technician Jennifer!! She is very friendly and clearly skilled when it comes to manicures of all sort, whether it's powder, acrylic or gel. She can do it all! I was being my usual indecisive self and couldn't choose between a few colors and Jennifer gave me her honest opinion from my selections. I had called ahead to request Jennifer so I didn't have to wait long. Although the ladies waiting to get their nails done on the clipboard waitlist didn't seem to wait too long. And even though there were some ppl who came in close to closing time, the owner and her husband didn't turn anyone away and accommodated everyone. She got polish on my flip flops, didn't do my cuticles so my cuticles are flooded, there's polish on the skin around my toes & she said she'd come back to do a top coat and then didn't. I called to make an appointment for a dip manicure for me and a pedicure for my friend. I'm glad I did call, it was busy and we still had to wait half an hour until they started working on our nails. Even longer than that for my friend's pedicure. It seemed like the regulars were taken care of a little faster but a couple were told to go run any errands and then come back later so they wouldn't have to wait. My nail tech was very skilled and did a great job on my manicure, she did check her phone once while long my nails though but since it didn't happen frequently I'm totally ok with that. My friend smudged her toe polish while trying to put her shoe on and they fixed it right away which I appreciate. It was very quiet in the salon at first which was nice but about an hour into being here, one of the kids in the back got antsy and started making a good amount of noise. We were just happy to finally be getting worked on by that point though. My friend said she's had better pedicures, they just kind of rubbed the lotion in, they didn't massage her feet like the service menu says. Prices were comparable to other shops. The owner/manager, Susan was so nice and made the wait time better. She was kind enough to discount our services $5 without us even asking which was sweet of her. read more

This business is clean and safe beyond what is expected! Wash hands are implemented as soon as you arrive and masks at all times! Plexiglass between customers and nail personnel during manicures and pedicures. They could not be any nicer and friendly and do not push for you to upgrade anymore than you want done on your visit! I had a basic manicure and pedicure for my daughter's reception. By the end of the following day, the polish was starting to peel. By the third day, at least 1/2 of the polish had peeled away already, the day of the reception. No one explained this was going to happen. The polish was not applied evenly. I don't typically write bad reviews, but I wouldn't go here again. I went in to get powder dip nails, and my nails looked unnaturally huge and thick (in comparison to other places). I took my chances and tried Lovely Nails again when getting my gel acrylic nails removed, and the woman that was removing them was supposed to allow the acetone to soak the nails to the point where it was easier to get them off. She soaked my nails for a minute or two in a bowl (rather than 15 or 20 minutes with foil on each nail), and just used the drill. She drilled down my nails so badly that three months later, my nails are still folding, breaking, and paper thin. I don't usually get my nails done so they're pretty healthy, and I've honestly never seen my natural nails like these. It makes every day tasks so difficult, and I'm honestly scared to get my nails done again (as much as I would like to get acrylics again for my upcoming graduation). I would say be careful if you're wanting to go here. read more

My friends and I are regular customers here and the service is impeccable. I've been to many other nail salons for services, but nothing beats the prices and quality of Lovely Nails. I've never had their gel manicures or acrylics (I'm not really that type, classic mani/pedis are more my style), but the manicures and pedicures are luxurious and relaxing. The student pricing is great and convenient too- I might be off a bit, but last time I was there, it was $10 for a manicure and $18 for a pedicure... and they don't charge sales tax, which is great for those of us students who are broke ;) Overall, this is a wonderful, budget-friendly nail salon that is worth the trip and the money, and gives you a high-class experience without the price tag and the hoitytoity-ness. read more

There are many options when it comes to nail salons but this salon has integrity and invests time in getting to know there clients. There is something to be said for a salon that greets the majority of clients by there first name and with a smile. The owners Susan & Tony along with there staff are professional and knowledgeable. Here is what I wish was different...The cell phone use by clients while getting a pedicure is out of control. Don't get me wrong I have intercepted a few calls while sitting in a relaxing pedicure chair myself but I ignore the call and text the person that I will call them back shortly. I have also left my pedicure chair and have gone outside to take a call from a client. Today I listened to the life story of the person sitting next to me. I learned about her mother, her kids, what they have planned for the holiday weekend, to the wedding plans and that drama while getting my pedicure. My pedicure was about 60 mins and the person next to me talked the whole time. I put my headset on and had music playing and could still hear the conversation. It's not the first time and I'm not alone with this annoying behavior. Perhaps a sign reminding patrons that the salon is for relaxing and respect for other people's space is appreciated. This is the best nail salon I have been to and their prices are very affordable and reasonable. The workers are all very friendly and professional. Tony especially impresses me with the care and attention he puts into my acrylics. At other salons I have the problem of the acrylics becoming loose and lifting up after two weeks or so. Watch out for places that double dip on their waxing. Meaning they use the same stick that they use with other customers to dip the wax or the same one they use with you, they double dip back into the pot. It's not sanity and I wish they would consider changing this. read more

My mother-in-law and I just left after a lovely (pun intended??) manicure and pedicure for me, and a pedicure for my MIL. My MIL comes here pretty often and they totally remember her name and treat her like a friend. She had the basic pedicure and I had the next step up (can't remember the name of the treatment) for $30, which included callous removal as well as exfoliating tangerine/honey lotion massage (other option for scents was lavender). Tony the owner did my pedicure and he was very nice, informative, and gentle, since he knew I am very ticklish He did a great job on my very tired feet...my feet are so soft and pretty now...it had been a year since my last mani and pedi!! (One of the pitfalls of having two small kids and no childcare ). My MIL's pedi also turned out very nice. We were both very happy with our treatments and next time I'm in town, I will be sure to come back! I will never return to this salon! I was in need of a pedicure, so I thought I would give this salon a chance since they are next door to the dance studio where my daughter attends. I made an appointment for 7:00 pm. When I arrived, they were not professional at all. They told me to pick out my nail color and then I sat and waited. When the technician finally called me over, I sat in the chair and she told me to put my feet in the water...it was scalding hot! She never assisted me on where to lay my purse or make the chair comfortable for me. She finally got the water temp to an acceptable temp but was very aggressive in where she wanted my feet to be. The whole experience was painful from beginning to end. She kept asking me to move down lower, my back hurt and the edge of the water basin was digging into my ankle. When I finally said something, she adjusted my chair, but continued to put my ankle on the sharp corner. She continued to push on my foot and told me to work with her! She never showed me where the control was to the chair for the massage to make my visit more comfortable. When I finally noticed it at the end of my pedicure, it was completely ducked taped and looked to be broken! Finally, the place was super HOT! No A./C running and even the workers were fanning themselves! I was so disappointed as I left with $40 less in my pocketbook and when I got home and looked at my toenails, they did a horrible job! Part of my toe nails have no polish on them and then me skin has polish where it should not! Making an appointment at the end of the day was probably a bad decision. It was clear to me that my technician wanted to be home an not doing her job. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!!!
