It had been 3 months since my last one. 3 MONTHS! Regulars know that you reallly need to have this done every 6 weeks. Not only is it best for maintenance, but it's also best for minimizing pain. The longer the hair, the more painful the Brazilian is. So it's an understatement to say that I was so very scared of "the pull". But I was utterly shocked when Zahra said she was finished with the front!! Finished??!! How?! I didn't even feel it! Zahra's technique is so advanced that she has mastered the art of pain-free waxing, even in "that" area! It's truly astounding! I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and I had chosen this spa specifically because I wanted to feel safe and confident in the provider's experience. I reached out afterward and was offered a "touch-up," but with the irritation I experienced, it didn't feel safe to continue. Then three days later on my vacation one of the nails came off. The nails continued to come off each day and I was sad that I didn't really get what I was expecting for my trip. Regardless, I came back and at the front desk they said that they have a 10 day warranty policy so they cannot refund me. In other circumstances, I'd be fine with it. But never have I had gel X nails pop off so easily. Each came off completely with half of the glue attached to it so I had some concerns that there was an issue with either the glue or the application on all of my nails. The warranty makes sense for small things or issues that could come about, but not if all of my nails are coming off within such a short amount of time. I felt that there was an issue with the foundation of the service from day one. I just felt like I wasn't getting what I paid for. If I am paying a higher price for a special service , I would expect them to at least last my five day vacation. Gel x applied right, does not come off that easily. Even though I disagree with the usuage of the warranty, I was fine going along with getting them fixed. Unfortunately, when I expressed my concerns they were not heard. I just felt like cutting my losses was best. I decided I to not come back. I felt that if what was causing the issue with my nails the first time around wasn't acknowledged or fixed- There was no point in going back and getting them redone cause it would most likely happen again. Not really sure what happened this time around but the very first time I went, it worked out great. I wouldn't necessarily discourage someone from coming here if they are interested I'm just sharing my experience so whoever is reading can make an informed decision and be aware. We walked in and were greeted by a very kind receptionist, then led to the lounge to wait. It was quite calming, though you could hear the traffic outside. When our appointment time came, our technicians (? I don't know what to call them) took us to the couples room, where we proceeded to have the most relaxing experience of our lives. We had the 60 minute treatment, which included a "mini facial". I was expecting maybe a quick wash with a sheet mask. Oh nooooo, this was much more than that! Several different eye and skin masks, then our whole heads were in a steam capsule while we had arm/shoulder massages. We honestly didn't want to leave. Our hair / scalp feels amazing, my hair has had it rough lately, due to it being summer and it now looks fantastic. This was definitely money well spent, and I'll be going back.

This is the walk around in complementary white robes type of spa. The spa has affordable bundles and à la carte options for whatever your needs may be. They do offer pregnancy services as well. They have a full nail salon as well and are accepting walk-ins. I do recommend having a reservation, but at least give them a call ahead of time. Accessibility note: the only thing not accessible is the head spa area as it is down a flight of stairs. All other spa areas can be made accessible. For my service dog handlers, I would recommend calling in advance and making specific requests instead of walking in.
