I am already regretting writing this review because I know it will mean that getting an appointment with this already oh-so-popular lady will be even harder but I just had to let yall in on the fact that Avivah Wax Spa is truly the best of the best.. and this is coming from someone who has a lot of unwanted hair thanks to my Indian heritage. Marina offers online scheduling and she really does book out at least a month in advance. You can, however, find last minute appointments if you really stalk her online scheduling site. I see Marina for a brazilian, inner thigh, and eyebrow wax. Not only is Marina meticulous and thorough but she is FAST. Like, less than 20 minutes and your brazilian is finito! She makes an ordinarily painful process absolute painless. Going to see Marina is like going to hang out with a girlfriend who just happens to be a master at waxing. Marina is exceptional at her job. She works quickly and relatively pain free and on top of that she knows her clients well and remembers details from visit to visit. Her pricing is very fair especially for the quality of work that she does and I love, love, love that she offers online books so I can sit and compare my 7 calendars with hers. Marina's lash extensions are beautiful as well but i recently switched over to the world of lash lifts because they are less work for aftercare with good results that last long. I am really happy with how my lash lift turned out today! It takes about an hour and it's cheaper than lash extensions also. Marina is really bubbly and sweet. Trust me and check out this place! I was getting my first Brazilian wax and being already nervous Marina made me feel completely at ease. She's a talker, super friendly and outgoing and I'm a talker and before I knew it we were done. The pain was SOOooo... minimal I think I was prepared for the worse and it was nothing that I couldn't handle and I'm sure that was due to the way I was cared for from beginning to end. Marina is a brow wizard! I have struggled with finding an arch in my straight eyebrows for my entire life. Marina not only provided a relaxing and pampering experience, but she also worked magic on my brows! I secretly wish my brows would grow faster so I could go visit her more often. I love love love Marina!! She is so thorough! I must've had some ingrowns that may have been ingrown for A WHILE that I nor other waxers knew about but she found them and didn't rest until she got rid of them!!
