My husband and I went there for the head spa treatment for our anniversary. We usually do couples massages, but due to me having an injury, we couldn't, so we went with that, as it looked relaxing and it was something we had never done before. We walked in and were greeted by a very kind receptionist, then led to the lounge to wait. It was quite calming, though you could hear the traffic outside. When our appointment time came, our technicians (? I don't know what to call them) took us to the couples room, where we proceeded to have the most relaxing experience of our lives. We had the 60 minute treatment, which included a "mini facial". I was expecting maybe a quick wash with a sheet mask. Oh nooooo, this was much more than that! Several different eye and skin masks, then our whole heads were in a steam capsule while we had arm/shoulder massages. We honestly didn't want to leave. Our hair / scalp feels amazing, my hair has had it rough lately, due to it being summer and it now looks fantastic. This was definitely money well spent, and I'll be going back. read more

Best and most affordable day spa in the area! Spend the day at the spa with an amazing team of relax and pamper specialist. I would like to recognize Cait and Gabe for their extraordinary services. Gabe gave me one of the best relax to the table massages. Cait gave my face a new glow with her amazing facial services. This is the walk around in complementary white robes type of spa. The spa has affordable bundles and à la carte options for whatever your needs may be. They do offer pregnancy services as well. They have a full nail salon as well and are accepting walk-ins. I do recommend having a reservation, but at least give them a call ahead of time. Accessibility note: the only thing not accessible is the head spa area as it is down a flight of stairs. All other spa areas can be made accessible. For my service dog handlers, I would recommend calling in advance and making specific requests instead of walking in. read more

I have been dying to experience the viral japanese head spa I keep seeing everywhere! I booked a 60 minute headspa which consisted of a scalp massage, shampoo, conditioning mask / steam, facial cleanse, sheet mask, arm massage, and heated eye mask. She rinsed my hair, applied some face lotion, and gave me some time to apply leave-in conditioner & blowdry my own hair before leaving. Was it relaxing? Absolutely. Do I think it was worth the hype? If I'm being honest, no. I definitely don't think it was worth the full retail price of $130 + tip. I was disappointed the scalp massage was so short and that it didn't include a neck massage. She also didn't use any hair tools I've seen in their promo videos and spent a decent amount of time just combing out my knotted hair at the end. I feel your money is better spent on a massage or facial. I also booked a cupping massage to see how it differed from traditional swedish massages I've had. This was a unique experience consisting of warm oil, hot towels, deep breathing, stretching, and (of course) suction cups. I was surprised when the cups were fluidly incorporated into the massage before temporarily being placed in certain areas of tension. My body felt much less tense than when I walked in! However, I'd be remiss to point out it was uncomfortable at times because of heavy force exerted during stretches, pinching from the cups when there wasn't enough oil for glide, and scraping from her longer fingernails. I also unfortunately received a quarter sized bruise on my arm inside a cup mark. I would make sure you don't have plans to show skin for at least a week or two and be sure to drink plenty of water before AND after. The salon itself is clean and smells nice. They have an extensive spa menu with lots of options to treat yourself or someone you love. I saw a menu for wine next to the tea and water (I'm not sure if it's complimentary as I wasn't offered any, but if so, that's a nice perk!) They're located on the one-way stretch of Manchester so just be sure to keep an eye out for their sign so you don't miss them read more

What an amazing experience. I have zero photos because I didn't want to have my phone out during a time for relaxation. After a busy few weeks, I decided to take some R&R. I read great reviews about Pure Harmony on here and decided I'd try a new (to me) spot with a package. I booked my services via phone with the staff member a week out. It was a simple process! I arrived and was greeted warmly. I was shown to the locker room where I was given a spot to put my items away and change into a robe and flip flops. My first service was the body indulgence body treatment which was a body scrub, body mask, scalp massage, and then a body massage. My masseuse Kala was so kind and knowledgeable. I felt super comfortable with her! The scrub was wonderful, and I loved being cocooned in the wrap!!! It was so comfortable. I then received a facial from Kait who was so awesome. She was SO knowledgeable about all things skincare and having discussions about my skin. This facial in particular focused on hydration, which is great for the dryer months coming up! She focused on extractions, and I really loved the hydrating mask. She recommended some great options for hyperpigmentation which is what I'm currently focusing on! I also got dermaplaned which was awesome, as it's not the same with the tools that we can purchase at stores to do at home. I then got a mani and pedi from Char. Char was super chill and I enjoyed chatting with her! Super skilled at her trade. They have a good selection of regular polish and shellac. I think my favorite part of both services was the warm oil, plastic glove/ sock coverings, and then the terry cloth coverings. They felt super cozy. Quality and care were unmatched with Char! She took her time to make sure my nails and toe nails were looking their best. I cannot recommend Pure Harmony more! This spot is friendly, welcoming, and very clean. Best spa experience ever! I went here because I had a gift certificate for the "Spa Getaway". This included a 60-minute massage and a facial with dermaplaning. Upon walking in, I was welcomed by the receptionist in a very calm, sunlit lobby. She showed me around and then gave me a robe and flip-flops to change into. The changing room was secure, large enough to be comfortable, and sufficiently bright. They gave me a key to my locker which I kept in my robe pocket. The massage was with Kristina. She is the most talented healer I have ever met! I have struggled with severe head and neck pain for a couple years. She knew exactly where to massage to relieve so much of my pain. She also has a comforting and relaxing presence. I have continued making appointments with her thanks to this experience, and I cannot recommend her enough. The facial was with Kyla. I was so impressed by her skills too! My face has never looked as good as it did after this facial, which inspired me to take better care of my skin. She really made my face glow and feel healthier than ever. She also did a neck and shoulder massage during part of the facial, which was unexpected and a great way to relax even more. I thought this would be a one-time treat, thanks to a gift from a loved one. However, I have returned to the spa since then and will continue to make it a regular occurrence because it was such an amazing experience. I highly recommend checking it out!! read more

Wow, what a fantastic experience! My family gifted me a Head Spa service for my recent birthday. I had no idea what to expect, but I absolutely love when I get my hair washed before a hair cut, so I was pretty excited. WELL, this was so much MORE! Great spa! First impression from the outside is that it's average, but once entering the doors it's lovely. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, offering tea and water immediately which is refreshing for just a normal spa treatment. I usually only see that at true full day spas. They're also very accommodating. I booked the wrong spa service (booked Signature Massage which is for relaxation when I wanted Deep Tissue) and the spa therapist could tell I wanted deep tissue and she got a different person in there for me! It was so accommodating and fantastic customer service for my sad sore back muscles. Tonya is by far the best Deep Tissue therapist I've ever had. If you want to know about the muscles she's working on she'll tell you, as she's full of knowledge and knows exactly what she's doing. I feel 100 times better than I did earlier today before my massage. I've already booked my next appointment and am REALLY looking forward to it! read more

Well I have been there before and it was a very good experience the last time was not. The new aesthetician offered to do micro blading on my face at the same time she was doing my facial so therefore 2 to 3 days later on I get huge bumps on both sides of my neck and my cheek area and I thought maybe it was something to do with the facia it got so bad I had to go to my doctor went to my doctor and he says his conclusion is that she gave me razor burn who would've thought it .I personally think she needs to be educated a little bit more thoroughly On doing facials and micro blading at the same time especially if you've never had micro blading done. read more

They are raised & uncomfortable from either the facial or the face cradle on the massage table. My face looks & feels terrible!! I have never had this reaction from a spa before. My last visit was for a signature facial (with Gabrielle). I was greeted and escorted to their lounge for a cup of tea. My aesthetician was ready for me before I drank my tea...she let me relax and drink my tea then came back up after a short while - allowing me time to relax is key for a day at the spa! I was given a smock to wear so I wouldn't have to worry about my clothing getting soiled. The Murad products used were very soothing on my skin...I even purchased a hydrating moisturizer product based recommendation by my aesthetician! My facial was wonderful and included a short massage of my arms, shoulders and even my feet! I scheduled an appointment to have the mink eyelash extensions and I had a wonderful experience! Pure Harmony is clean, welcoming and my esthetician was both professional and friendly. The relaxation room is a bit small but relaxing enough. The very sweet desk attendant showed me to the room, offered me something to drink, and had me fill out paperwork. I do agree with some of the other reviewers in saying the service rooms are not very well insulated and they can be a bit noisy at times. I could hear outside traffic, dogs barking, other estheticians talking or opening/closing cabinets in their rooms and general movement in the spa. I wasn't getting a massage or facial, so it didn't really bother me that much! It was also a bit chilly in the room, as I had to lie still for two hours, but my esthetician offered me a blanket, so I was just fine. My eyelashes look so great and I will definitely be back to get them touched up. It was my first time ever getting semi-permanent lashes and I really like them! If you are looking for a very nice spa to have lashes put on and have extra money to spend, I would absolutely recommend Pure Harmony! read more

Again an awesome experience. I am still not sure what the others that have reviewed this place are expecting. I again got a deep tissue massage and it was awesome. I was in this relaxed/knocked out state and couldn't even move to turn over when she asked me to. I wouldn't call this an upscale place but I think it is really nice and better than the one other place I have been to. This time I had 20$ in referral bucks so that was cool, but I would rather go here for a massage than anyplace else. My wife got a prenatal massage and said it was incredible. she also said the lady that did it started off talking to her because she was excited about her having twins, but she stopped talking once the massage started and let her relax. I like the lobbey and the waiting room, they always have penuts, muffins and tea and water to drink. WOW talk about the best massage I've had in a long time. I got the regular full body massage for an hour. I have had many massages in the past but this one by far was the best. I had Miranda who I highly recommend. I asked if she would avoid getting lotion in my hair and she made sure to keep her promise! I will definetely go back to see her again! It was a relaxing and rejuvenating 90 minutes. If there is a negative- they didn't have any bottle water when I was leaving, just water in a small glass. First off, no one who answers your phone should have such a strong accent that people can't understand them while booking appointments.. I could barely comprehend the lady. Was hard to find, hidden off Manchester and traffic sucked! I could hear the people in rooms next to me during my treatment, doors slamming and people laughing and high heels clicking across floors. Seriously unrelaxing. My therapist was a young lady who had a nice touch, but NO pressure. I wanted a deep tissue and got a light relaxation. I took my matron of honor here for a massage. We both had one. Amazeballs! I found this place purely by happy accident. I wanted to do something special for myself and my best friend before my wedding. The massage therapists were WONDERFUL!! I think I fell asleep...a couple of times....and mine was whole body deep tissue! She knew exactly the right pressure, she wasn't chatty, which, while I'm a friendly person, I really needed to de-stress and this was absolutely the right place to be. I've been a massage client here for about 8 years. The staff is professional and friendly - the facility comfortable and the massage rooms are restful. Yes, you can sometimes hear muffled sound from other rooms, but not so much that it disturbs my massage. I highly recommend Stevie and have referred several friends to her. I received a facial from a woman who was less than appropriate - telling me I had horrible skin, kept asking me over and over what products I use, when I told her, she did not have any knowledge of my products, and the way she spoke to me was very unprofessional. I get at least 4 facials a year and go to a top Derm here in STL for my products. My skin isn't perfect, but that was the first time I heard someone tell me my skin was terrible. I left bleeding in several places and red. 2 days later and my skin is rough and dry and my nose feels like I have been in a fight. Not what I am used to from a facial. Not too mention, she told me if I come back I can got to the "Vietnamese tech if I want even tho she is Vietnamese she is good" - who says that? She then told me "all the techs will push product b/c they work off commission, so to beware.." So less than professional, seemed like she was very uneducated. Insulation in the walls terrible. You can hear everything, and they don't try to be quiet or spa like. Random children running around the place. Assume employees kids... no one offered me anything to drink in the 'relaxation room' and all you hear are car doors opening and slamming. Worst Spa Experience I ever had. When I called to book, I was told they knew prenatal massage, but the therapist was afraid to touch me & I left in more pain than I had when I got there. Facialist was nice, but left skin feeling like sandpaper. Nail tech left grit under toenails and polish already coming off in less than 2 days. She also buffed fingernails so hard that she left scuff marks. Easy to find though, just look for the hookah lounge and its next door. Wouldn't send worst enemy there. read more

I wanted to say how much I love this spa and how well they handle the clients. I think sometimes you cannot please everyone and someone is gonna walk away unhappy for some reason or another. As far as putting the whole spa down for one persons mistake is not good. Comments that people make about someone who answers phones with different languages happens everywhere everyday. I personally feel that was a little racial and I wouldn't want that type of person in my spa if owned one! Why would we think that is alright, why can't we let other people decide for themselves if they want to go to that spa or not! Every person that works for that company is not to blame so, try someone else!!! Just sayin!
