I have had my fair share of massage places. From top shelf spas, to the massage grind mills with monthly dues, to in those moments where 'Oh-God-this-place-looks-shady-but-I-am-in-pain-and-this-is-the-only-place-open' sorta massage places as last resort. I got lucky when I found this place. There are always at least 2 to 3 people here. They speak limited English but are really kind, nice people that have no problem communicating what is needed. No one wants a conversation while you are trying to relax anyways. There are tables with curtains or a closed room, whatever you are comfortable with. Now this is where you will not believe me... I only take off my shoes. Fully clothed I get some of the best massages of my life. How is this possible? I have NO idea! But I never feel shorted or that my experience would be better with my shirt or pants off. Such a weird thing to type but you know what I mean. I am so much more comfortable being fully clothed, as no matter how well you know the massage person, it is always a bit awkward when you are mostly naked only covered with that blanket all places give you, even if they don't see the naughty bits! They are open late and never short your time. I am always greeted with smiles and a cheerful face. TLDR: Peaceful, positive place, you are fully clothed great massages and feet massages. read more

I have been here probably 8 times. It ranges from too aggressive to the lady who barely puts any pressure. I don't really feel relaxed but Its cheap and the guy tends to work out some of the knots even if its a bit painful. The last time though. . So before I go. I always shower and put on deodorant. I am a germaphobe and very self conscious about smells (some people don't use deodorant etc and ) the woman had me sit down. And she touched my back for like 2 seconds. Said my cologne stunk..(I do not wear cologne or perfume) and then walked away. A few minutes later the gentleman came over and they sat talking the whole time together while he did my back. Definitely didn't get 30m worth and felt the lady was incredibly rude. Usually the guy will ask if he is being too rough or more pressure etc. This time just sat talking to the lady. First of all I smelled of dove soap and deodorant. I didn't stink and you were rude. And lastly. Maybe yall should think about having a cleaner faculty before telling someone else they stink.. you use the same covering for the chairs all day. And you only put a paper towel over it. Which doesnt even cover it throughly. That is unhygienic and disgusting. I always go home and shower after. Cause I feel my face is dirty. read more

My experience here was unfortunately one of the most uncomfortable and stressful experiences i've had while getting a massage. I walked in, requested an hour table massage, and was taken back to a curtained off area. I chose to remain clothed. I requested A focus on my back and shoulder area. The massage was very rough to the point where i was asked multiple times if i was okay, and when i requested less pressure, it would only be for a brief period and then the intense pressure would resume. Despite continually requesting less pressure, the 'therapists' continued to dig into my back. At multiple points I received an elbow directly onto my sacrum, which left me with significant bruising. The techniques used on my neck and shoulders also were much too aggressive and could be described as "pinching" and "pulling". Because my original requests for less pressure were not respected, i felt incredibly uncomfortable, when it was over, i left in more pain than i had arrived with, paid, and immediately left. The next day is when i noticed the bruising. I will not be returning. I feel bad leaving this review but i think its important that others know my experience, and that hopefully this establishment can become more professional and practice better techniques. read more

I've had 2 massages here. 1 in the chair and one on the table. The masseuse has strong hands. They found my sore muscles and worked them. I like that you don't need to remove any clothing. The massages were so relaxing. Bring cash and save a few bucks. read more

I'll start by saying that these are the best massages I've ever gotten. I've gone to a variety of spas over the years - Massage Envy, Massage Luxe, etc. - and while those massages were relaxing enough, the massages you'll get here will blow the pants off those. I started getting massages from Mary, one of the two owners, about 5 years ago when she worked at a Chinese massage place in the mall with her husband, Joe. I've been hooked on these massages ever since. Fast forward to today, and she and Joe recently opened their own massage place here on Manchester. A+ Spa specializes in Chinese massages, which are a little bit different from traditional Swedish or deep-tissue massages. I'm not an expert on the differences, but to me, they are more relaxing and therapeutic. Unlike most massage places, you keep your clothes on here, and they lay a towel over you, which is great if you're squeezing in a massage on a lunch break. A+ Spa is a walk-in massage spa, so you don't ever need a reservation. You can get as short as a 10 minute massage on up to an hour and a half (60 minutes back, 30 minutes feet). If you're like me and just decide on a whim, "I could really go for a massage right now," this is your place. Personally, I hate making appointments for a massage and would rather get one when I want one. Now, because there aren't appointments, there may be a short wait, but it's never that long and 100% worth it. The owners, Mary and Joe, are both incredibly nice people and will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I'll state that as they are immigrants from China who are working on their English, a little patience when speaking with them goes a long way. In short, you can't go wrong with A+ Spa Massage. Found this place via Yelp. Called Friday to make an appointment for Saturday and was able to get in. The service is wonderful, it's nice and quite. Was going for 60 min massage, decided on the spot for 90 min. Glad I picked the 90 mins, with 60 min neck/shoulder/body and 30 min of feet massage. I am having trouble with my right shoulder and by the end of the massage I can feel the difference. I will definitely return for the oil/hot stone next time. read more

I've been going to Mary for a chair back massage approximately every couple wks or so. My shoulders, neck, and back get very tight and sore and Mary knows exactly what to do to help me. I had a great massage here today. I was able to get a same day appointment which is great for us last minute planners. They were so friendly and the massage was perfect. It's super reasonable for the price. I paid $90 for a 90 minute massage that included hot stones and foot reflexology. The 60 minute massage was only $60. They also have some options for chair massages if you just want a quick massage. This isn't a place you go for the ambiance- just a solid massage with nice people. I'll be back! read more
