I am just passing through town, and while the intake form was standard I really felt like my massage therapist, Mya, was very present and attentive to my body and my specific needs. Alot of massage places like this go through a basic massage routine, and it can feel very impersonal. But Mya seemed to really be paying attention to me and my body and was able to work through very specific issues that I have, without me have to tell her anything. I am incredibly impressed and extremely grateful. I would come here over and over again and will be sure to return whenevr I am in town. Highly recommend. Thank you!

The people working here are Asian and I couldn't hardly understand any English that they said. It was also loud because of street traffic and they were having a bathroom fixed right next to where I was. The best part was is that she said I did not remember to give her a tip. I told her a tip is not mandatory, it is something we just do if we want to and she repeated herself again, that this money is for massage, you forgot tip..I will not go back.

When we arrived, the location was very different from what the website led us to expect. It's located in a strip mall, and there was even a boarded-up broken window nearby, which didn't create the relaxing, upscale first impression we were anticipating. We had specifically reserved the East Meets West massage and facials based on the services listed on the website. However, once we arrived, the menu of services available at the spa was completely different from what was advertised online. It was disappointing because we chose this spa specifically for those treatments. I understand that businesses update their offerings, but the website should accurately reflect the current location, atmosphere, and available services. Keeping online information up to date would help set the right expectations and avoid disappointing customers. I hope they update their website so future guests know exactly what to expect before booking.

First, the way this business makes appointments is through EMAIL ONLY! What a pain in the ass! It's a back-and-forth process. You email them your available times and dates then they email you back. It took seven emails before I had a time and a date set!!! Ridiculous! (Because of this, I knew I would never go back) Second, their web page is a bunch of information all bunched together. It's completely unorganized and almost impossible to navigate and comprehend. Third and foremost, IT WAS THE WORST MASSAGE IVE EVER HAD! EVER! I purchased a 90-minute Swedish massage. Ken hardly used any pressure whatsoever! I asked him three different times to apply more pressure during the massage. He would for about 30 seconds to a minute and then go back to what he was doing previously. He did not massage my neck, hands or feet!?!?!?! What kind of massage is that? I had a crick in my neck that I told him about when I got there. He didn't even touch it! When I asked about it, he simply said "I did the best I could." I am frustrated, disappointed and unsatisfied. Never again!!! Fourth, it was dirty! No aromatherapy, no rugs on the floor, a sheet placed on top of the vinyl padding that is it! Very unsanitary!!!

I normally expect to pay $75 to $90 per hour with an additional $40 to $50 tip. That's what top places expect. I've been a customer of Soothing Oasis for a few months now. In my opinion, this place is a best kept secret. The price per hour is unheard of these days and their best therapist, Vicky, is on par with the very best in the business. This is a "clean" business in every way so don't expect locked doors and dark rooms. It's a place where professional men and women can feel safe and comfortable. Point is, this is not a Rub Maps type of spa. Expect employees to come in and out of the room with fresh towels, etc. as they often work as a team and they use correct sheet and towel placement for modest folks like me. I noticed one person complained that the session door is left open just a crack. Well yes. That's for everyone's safety and it's a tell tale sign of a legit place!
