I have been experiencing severe neck pain not even my chiropractor could relieve. I booked a one hour massage and was luckily massaged by Joann. Give this woman all the stars!! I requested a "firm" massage knowing it would be a bit painful, but hoping to relieve my severe pain. There was no "routine" as I've experienced at other massage appointments. She immediately started at the area of my complaint. The massage progressed to deep tissue massage with her elbows. She uses her body weight and balances herself on top of the massage table. Halfway through she asked if I would like hot stones incorporated into the massage. Heck Yeah! She bent my legs in all directions in order to massage every muscle, some of which I didn't know existed. Ive never had such a thorough, therapeutic, pain relieving experience in my life. Head to toe, she found every ache I didn't mention. She used reflexology, acupressure, heat, and stretching to help alleviate all my pain. If you only have one massage your entire life, this is the lady. After years and years of average massages I have finally found the best. Traveled to STL for work today and I've been long overdue for a massage. So glad I turned to yelp to find this little gem. It's nothing fancy but they do great work and your can't beat the price. 90 minutes for only $75! I may have to go back again tomorrow. I was impressed when they used hot stones midway through my service. It helped relax my muscles and melt my tension away. Hot stone wasn't mentioned in the service so it was a nice surprise. I had some pretty bad shoulder and neck pain and needed it taken care of quickly. I went here because it was the closest to me and I could get in quickly. I called ahead of time and asked if they could do a one hour foot and one hour body massage. They said they could. I paid $62 plus a $15 tip for that, I was assuming that was for the full two hours as it's around that rate elsewhere for two hours. Instead, she stopped at an hour, and I asked if that was really two hours, she said no, then basically started over. When I was done, I was billed another $62! $139 for a body massage and foot massage is insane. While the woman who worked on me was fine and the massage was good, it wasn't worth $139 and I won't be back. Their prices were only $75 for an hour body and foot but I was charged nearly double. So while the massage was fine, the price was way more than even Massage Envy. Just not worth it. read more

Very sketchy hole in the wall place. There's so much that went wrong in the beginning, that i should have never even laid on the table. Where do I start?! How about i make a list! 1: They did not initially ask for any forms to sign when i came in. I had to ask about them myself. 2. The same person running the front was also the only one doing massages that day. (see why this was an issue later) 3. About 10 minutes into the massage, the massage therapist straddles my head to massage my back. Wtf?! I've had sooooo many massages done in my lifetime, but I've never had ANYONE climb on the table and straddle my head to massage my back. It made me very uncomfortable as the vibe of the place is already off. 4. She was texting off and on throughout the ENTIRE massage. 5. She left the room a few times during the massage and left the door wide open. I normally completely undress during my massages for full comfort, so this made me very uncomfortable. 6. Since she was the only person working, she left the door cracked during my massage. I'm assuming this was to hear when people came in which she actually did stop twice to go address customers coming in. Needless to say, after she stopped the second time, i immediately got up and put my clothes on. I was so distraught that i didn't even bother to ask for any money back. I paid for an hour and left about halfway through. I just wanted to hurry up and get out of there and figured I'd just leave a review to warn others to avoid this place completely. I blame myself for not trusting my gut when i walked in and for also even sitting through the 30 minutes that i did. I suffered a panic attack earlier that day and let my desperation to relax lead me to make poor decisions. Never again!!!! read more

I have been going here for over a year and I don't have any issues for the price or availability to get an appointment . It's not a "salon", doesn't appear as an envy or luxe type of place. Sounds like those low ratings are most likely based on. No powered beds or facials. Best thing is open all the time with openings on same day you want a massage. Not a week or so out and no contract required. This is a Small business owned by one person and has 2-3 employees at a time. They are all hard workers. I saw a review of Cozy on Google..bad mouthing the place.. the lady wanted a one hour deep massage . when she paid, she tipped $2.. yeah two dollars...and she wonders why the provider had a bit of an attitude..doesn't matter where she will go, she will get an attitude if she tips like that...she would have been better off not to tip at all..awhile ago I read another review of another place..lady gets a hour foot massage.. tips 20%..thinks that is generous... .. so $30 an hour so she gave a $6 dollar tip..20% is ok for a restaurant where your server might spend 5 minutes waiting on you, but if you have a providers undivided attention for an hour, and they do an excellent job, 20% is not sufficient..imho..from my experience, the only women that tip well are ex waitresses or others who made their living mostly on tips..every provider I have had at Cozy did an excellent job..one did have to leave the room two times, but she made up for the time and did an excellent job and apologized for having to leave too..she is the manager..fantastic massage.. read more

WOW!! This was my first time coming here because all the big chains were booked until after the new year. They got me in RIGHT away!! And it was the BEST massage I've ever had!!!! They worked on all of my problem areas and i left feeling very relaxed and a lot of my soreness went away. I paid 50$ for a one hour body and foot massage, and they are true to the time!! Have no complaints about the massage where I have a problem is since I didn't have my massage yet did not put on tip. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Six months ago I decided to give them a try because funds were tight and the prices here are much more reasonable than other places. It was by far the best massage I've ever had. I've been back 10 times now and each one is the equivalent of a week's vacation in terms of refreshing/rejuvenating/de-stressing. All the therapists are not only amazing with their hands, but their hearts shine through as well in that they genuinely want to take good care of you and ensure you leave better than you came in. All they do is massages (no nails, waxing, etc) but for people who care more about the actual therapy/results, that's quite alright. They do one thing and they are fantastic at it. The massage quality was more than adequate - above average. The only issue if any, is the inability to customize your massage in detail due to the language barrier. Your best bet is to explain as much as possible to the lady in the front desk/owner about what you are looking for. Except for the inability to customize the masseuse is very capable of removing all the knots in your body. read more
