Soon as you pull into the strip mall, it's tucked into a corner next to the Veterinarian office. Upon entry, the place was really clean, but not alot of furniture or decor so don't be alarmed, you are in the right place. What was great was that we had just called 45 min earlier and they had no problem taking us. We signed up for the couple's massage and our room was ready upon arrival. Private room with 2 tables next to each other. We got settled in and the masseurs were ready about 15 min later. I tell you what, that massage was great! They did a wonderful job with the level of pressure applied and definitely did not rush through the process. Very nice ladies! Our total, $115 for 2 people at 60 min!!! Wow!!! What a deal!!

Watch out for Living Social deals. Great massage if you like deep pressure! I was running late due to traffic and they were really cool about it, starting my massage later and finishing it later too. Not all places will do that for you, and it won me over even more. I'll be back!

Not bad! I came here with my friend as he suggested we were long overdue for a massage. Come to…read morethink of it, the last time I had one was over 10 years ago, so I was more than excited to get one. We booked this place on the way from dinner and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Upon walking in, I noticed the front area was large. It gave off zen vibes (rightfully so), but def. helps get you in the mood for the service you're going to receive. We were immediately greeted by a woman at the front desk and after confirming our reservation, she instructed us where to go. I had to use the restroom before our massage and I was shocked at how clean it was! We got the 1.5 hour massage, so needless to say we were going to be here awhile. We were instructed to undress and get under the covers. Once complete, they entered the room. I was a little surprised there was no introduction of who they were and what massage we'd be getting. Oh well. They both start the massages and at first it was good. I noticed the masseuse my friend had was way more talkative to him than the one I had. To be frank, the only conversation that occurred was her asking me if I wanted it medium or hard. I selected the latter and that concluded the conversation for the duration of my massage. The massage itself was nice, although some parts were better than others. I was quite pleased at how she massaged every nook and cranny from head to toe! I woke up feeling sore but refreshed. Overall, the place is clean and the services are great. I imagine I'll be back some time soon to get another one.

The front desk charged me for the 90 minute session immediately and asked me to tip before I even got to the table. Massage therapist starts with two deep strokes and everything was light massage. I kept telling her to go deeper on my back. Therapist starts rubbing over my bones not the muscles. Over and over. No knots were actually addressed. She was gaslighting me! I walked out at 60 mins yelling NO TIP! Keep the change. Lost $103 on someone literally just touching my skin and light massaging skin and bones.

I feel like how my cat looks when she's laying in the sun and purring. If you're looking for a no-frills place to park your body and then mentally check out for awhile, this is the place. The prices are good, the rooms have great vibes, the music is boppin' (in a relaxing way), and the massage is bussin'. My friend and I have never been to a spa before (we're broke college students) so we weren't quite sure what to expect. Their website is pretty generic and their online booking system (which, spoiler alert, isn't actually used) has you pick a day, but no time or type of appointment. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but again, it's a no-frills kind of place. There was an older Chinese man at the front desk who looked confused when we said we'd booked appointments online (it doesn't look like they use their website or at least, the online booking system), but he still let us get an appointment right then. It was 2 PM on a Tuesday, so I guess they weren't too busy. Heads up - the "menu" of services they offer was completely different there than what their website listed (honestly, I'm not sure why they have a website). My friend and I were pretty happy though, because the prices listed in-person are even more college-student friendly than we originally expected. They have a few different types of basic massages (body, foot, etc) and time lengths. We opted for the hour-long full body massage for $60, although the 90 minute body + foot massage (60 min full body, 30 min foot) for $75 was very tempting. The rooms were clean and kept dark during the massage, and they had Chinese-style ambient music playing, which greatly facilitated my mental zonk-out. They don't give much instruction/direction, partially because of the language barrier, which can be a little off-putting if you're not expecting that or not very comfortable with strangers touching & moving your body around. The "full body" massage starts with you on your front, and they go over your back, neck, arms, & legs. They do pull down your underwear a bit to go on the top half of the butt, but I had a female masseuse and she tucked the sheet covering me into my underwear so I was still covered. At one point, she left the room without saying anything and I was confused (was that the end? am I supposed to go??), but she came back with a hot towel (which felt DIVINE) & rubbed all the massage goop off. She then had me flip onto my back and worked on the front of my shoulders, arms, and legs. She did this thing where she pulled my arms & legs a bit to stretch it (not unlike how I sometimes help my cat stretch), and then jiggled them while holding them up. I was mostly boneless at this point so the change of movement was unexpected but ultimately very welcomed. The employees, both at the front and the masseuses, don't chat or talk more than necessary, which I personally liked but others may not. Part of this was probably the language barrier - their English is enough to get by, but they seemed much more comfortable speaking Chinese, which I understand but can't speak. They were very nice - they offered me a chilled bottle of water afterwards! Some of the other reviews said that the employees were rude and "berating" when there was an issue. As a first-generation Chinese American, I'd bet that they probably just don't know a lot of English and thus are more blunt. Asian customer service is also generally more direct and doesn't bother with somewhat pointless platitudes that are only said/done to maintain a facade. It's not bad customer service, more just a different style with some quirks that come along with not being very fluent in English. All in all, my friend and I had a great time and were super zen-ed out afterwards. We probably sounded a bit drunk or stoned, because we were so relaxed. 4.5/5 - 5 for the experience, 4 for the wonky website. I'll round up because that's what my second grade teacher taught me to do and I also gotta look out for the Asian homies. Would come again!

When we arrived, the location was very different from what the website led us to expect. It's located in a strip mall, and there was even a boarded-up broken window nearby, which didn't create the relaxing, upscale first impression we were anticipating. We had specifically reserved the East Meets West massage and facials based on the services listed on the website. However, once we arrived, the menu of services available at the spa was completely different from what was advertised online. It was disappointing because we chose this spa specifically for those treatments. I understand that businesses update their offerings, but the website should accurately reflect the current location, atmosphere, and available services. Keeping online information up to date would help set the right expectations and avoid disappointing customers. I hope they update their website so future guests know exactly what to expect before booking.

Check in was easy and the view on the hill would be nice if not rainy and can't imagine what a great sunny day would be like (probably very pretty!). They do have a 3 mile walking trail but if you try it you need to grab the map first or you'll think you're heading to a private road. We turned back without a map thinking we went the wrong way - rookie mistake but wish we would have been told to grab a map prior to heading out. Or be handed one as newbies... The owner I believe lives in the facility as well, and it was Easter weekend. He was talkative first night upon check in and did stop by outside to chat. The waterfall was not working and he said maybe he'd get it working by the time we left. Not a big deal, but never did turn on. It was odd that his family lived there or was visiting for Easter so we did feel a little like intruders over the weekend. Room: was freezing cold, and first night the heat was not working well. We did have a fireplace in the room but the unit to use for heat was not working no matter what we tried even with staff assistance. The bathroom was freezing and we had to use a space heater to try to warm it. We did complain the second night and nothing was fixed as owner was having Easter dinner upstairs with his family. Hot Tub: clean, small and perfect for 2 people. Made the trip. Didn't use the small table fire pit. They don't tell you that they drop off deserts at night and the next morning we woke up with melted ice cream outside the room. Communication breakdown. Coffee was folders, nothing great but did have a selection of offerings for breakfast time. Staff workers were amazing - kind and super friendly given that it was Easter weekend. You can tell they do try to give you the best experience. The staff hired here were amazing and friendly. Games are available for the rainy days. TV has most steaming services, rooms a tad older look. Somethings not functioning - like the sound machine, TV being finicky, and heat in room. We probably will not choose this room. Would rather stay at the rooms that are on the river and try that route next time!
