My regular technician was busy the day I needed a last minute mani -- I went to Nails Paradise because they were open and available -- little did I know I'd never go to another nail salon again. Let me first start off by saying that there was no social distancing going on anywhere in the salon. There was a small waiting area with a couch and a few chairs to sit on and they were mostly taken when I walked in. All I wanted was a regular pedicure but I walked out with painful and bleeding toes. My nail tech kept ripping my skin off around my toe nails even when I told her that she can leave it alone, I was mostly concerned with the color. She insisted that she continue with her work. Not long after, my toes started bleeding from the excessive pulling on the cuticles and side of the nails. I swear I have never had a more unenjoyable and painful pedicure experience. Save yourself the pain and agony and find a different salon. This pictures is of my big toe after I got my pedicure here. I noticed some pain in my toe and looked down to blood on my nail. I got the Apres gel x extensions . I came in without an appointment and was told that it'd be a 10 minute wait. Within 2 minutes after sitting down, a lady was calling me over. I don't know what her name was. She was very gentle with filing, but once the extensions were applied and she was using a drill to file them down, I did get one cut when the drill slipped on my cuticle that hurt a lot afterwards. However it has since almost completely healed and it's something that can happen. As someone indecisive who always does my own gels, sculpted gels, etc, I went with a nude color so I could easily paint over them if I wanted a change. It's been 6 days now and there's no lifting! I painted over them with a chrome-like nail polish and I'm in love. One thing that did catch me off guard however is the price. As stated on their website, a set of apres nails with gel color is $55. However, during my appointment, a worker next to the one doing my nails asked how much do those cost(she has never used apres yet and wasn't aware that they were in their salon) and the lady doing my nails said $60 for re shaping. I wanted a square shape, and the lady applied the extensions that were almond shape. When I asked if I could get square, she said yes just these extensions come in the almond shape. Then I see a picture on their Instagram where extensions that are square shape were applied to another client. I hope they weren't trying to make me pay $5 more just for reshaping from the almond gel x when I could've gotten the square ones applied. read more

Called at 4:30 was given a 7pm apt and sat w my feet in lukewarm water for 45mins while I watched the person who came in after me get started right away. At 7:25 I complained and was completely ignored. The girl at the front is extremely rude. My apt was for a gel manicure and pedicure but they did the entire manicure before even starting the pedicure?? So now I'll have to wait longer while my feet dry. Also every other person, even the girl who came in after me was getting their services at the same time. I also was only given a small portion of the color options so it seemed like they had a very small selection but I believe they were just being lazy. I definitely won't be back and would have gone somewhere else right at 4:30 if they'd been honest about their availability. This place seems to be under new management with all new nail technicians. Quality - My nails looked pretty when they were done but they rushed so much that they cut my cuticles in several places. I had scabs for a week. Pricing - I didn't see any pricing posted so I asked before I sat down. The woman told me it was something like $15 mani, $20 pedi, $35 SNS. (I might be off by $5 here or there but I think that's pretty close to the pricing she gave me.) I noticed they have a bunch of SNS powders so I told my friend to go there since she is always looking for a new SNS place. Referral - She had a similar experience to mine. They hurt her so badly her cuticles were bleeding when she got home. She said she felt like they were seriously rushing even though there was no one else there and they had plenty of technicians sitting around. But I was especially floored when she said they charged her $65 for just an SNS mani without any additional services!!! I can't find any way to make that math work!!! SNS - One last note about their SNS powders. They don't have them on samples so you can see what it will look like when it's done. You just have to pick from the powder containers. Unfortunately, if you've ever done SNS, you'd know that the end result is usually very different from how the actual powder looks. All in all, I used to frequent this place because it's walking distance from my house and they would do a decent job with my nails. However, under the new management, I'd rather drive to one of the many other options and I suggest you do the same. At least until they get their act together... read more

The best! I drive from Santa Clarita to get my nails done here. I'm not sure if Gege sprinkles my hands with magic, but I've never had any lifting or chipping, and my manicure lasts for weeks. The man working the front desk is extremely nice and very accommodating, but they seem under staffed. I came in on a Sunday and there were only two employees working. It wasn't busy, but I wonder if it's always like that? Thats not good for me because I prefer to have my manicure and pedicure to be done at the same time so I spend less time at the salon. There are very limited gel colors..probably 20 or so max. Which was a bummer because they didnt have colors I was looking for. I paid $50 to remove extremely old acrylics, a gel manicure and regular pedicure. My manicurist (i didnt get her name, she had blonde hair) did a nice job. There is no menu or listing of prices, I dont know what other services they offer or what the prices are for anything.. I wouldnt mind coming back, just not sure if I will. Not in my list of preferences, but this salon has room for growth. UPDATE* from 3 stars to 1 star. The man in the front desk called me at night and demanded i remove my review saying he has hundreds of gel colors and i can go and see them myself. FIRST OF ALL, if i was just there, WHY was i shown only like 20?! And SECOND OF ALL, why are you inappropriately using my phone number to call me for such things at night??? Exactly one week ago my sister treated me for a pedi at this place it was not our first time here, but this time I felt the need to leave a review. The lady who did my pedi was sweet, but she did some damage, as soon as I sat down she saw my toe and asked if i was in pain. I said not really. She then responded by saying I had an ingrown toenail, as I was there she was digging and digging . I had to pull my foot away every time she got in there, when she was done she put an ointment and said it was for infection, I asked what I can use at home so I don't get one, she said Vaseline or tea tree oil and this is what's been going on. read more
