I guess you can't post a sign saying no men (I'm hoping that's all it was) but it would have been nice to feel like I didn't interrupt their business with trying to give them money. If I could, I'd give this business zero stars. I actually found this business through yelp and since it had 5 stars I thought I'd give it a try. BIGGEST MISTAKE. Most nail salons allow walk-ins, but thankfully I did not take that risk. I called hours prior and made an appt for 4:30 pm on a Saturday (the next day was my graduation). I enter the salon exactly at 4:30 pm and I only see one nail tech (the owner) working on a customer's nails. I tell her I have an appt. for 4:30 pm and she says ya but this customer was late so you'll have to wait. 1. I thought ok that's fine. I'll wait. Not a big deal. 2. As I'm choosing colors, she finds out I want a pedicure as well as a manicure and immediately tells me she cannot do it. Long story short she tells me there is a nail salon a few streets down and I should go there. I will NEVER enter this business again. I really struggled with the rating on this one, wavering between rock-bottom and benefit of the doubt. Here's how I got where I got: The good: Convenient location with easy parking; good pedicure; decent nail color selection, good prices (if you actually get the services you pay for... read on). The bad: Just about everything else. - The chairs, as a couple of other reviewers have noted, are horrible. The basin-in-a-drawer moves without warning, and the chairs are extremely uncomfortable. No one offered to change the position of the chair or even to turn on the massager, just boom, down you go. - The owner (Anna?) did my manicure. I had asked for the Royal Combo, which included several extra enhancements. However, as she was starting the paraffin treatment on my hands, I asked if the scrub would be after that, and she acted (very poorly) as though she had forgotten. (It's also worth mentioning that she "forgot" the mint masque for my hands/arms as well.) She offered to put the vitamin oil on my nails (and also said she'd "owe me" a scrub) but no offer to reduce the cost of the service. - Massage (both mani and pedi) was just about the weakest I've ever experienced and left a coating of oil all over my hands and arms. I mentioned how slippery it was; no offer to wipe it off or even hand me a towel. - Last but not least, my cuticles on two fingers were cut pretty badly, to the extent that there was blood dried all around the nails. The lady at this salon double books which is a common habit of most start up nail salons. I read the great yelp reviews and made an appointment for a mani and pedi date for me and my mom. I specifically asked if there's two spots open and specified that did not want to be rushed if she was busy. The lady on the phone said it wouldn't be a problem. We arrived and she said there's no such appointment made. To prove my point, I showed her my phone call records on my smart phone and she still insisted no such appointment was made. My best friends and I were on our way to an event in Glendale and wanted to get our nails done beforehand. We searched for nail salons near where the event was and Classique Nails popped up. They had a good star rating and a good amount of reviews so we decided to come here. Parking is spacious but unfortunately we had trouble finding the lot. Apple maps fails all the time. Sigh. Anyway, we walked in and it's a very nice salon! The walls are painted a bright deep red that really pops and there are accents of black and white. They have these great see-through futuristic white chairs. The whole place is very stylish. One of my best friends and I wanted to get gel nails. They had a special for $15 which, if you get your nails done, should know is an AMAZING special. They had a good selection of colors for gels too. My gel manicure came out amazing. Linda, my technician, did such a meticulous job of shaping my nails the way I wanted them (sqoval), making the nails even in length and really just cleaning up my hot mess of cuticles. Linda clearly takes great pride in her work and it shows. I'd definitely come back here. Linda did such a great job, my nails look great and it didn't cost me too much money. YAY! I recommend this place. Call ahead though because although we were lucky to walk in and get service, it seems this place can get crowded. read more

I picked out a pink OPI and the lady doing my nails had already put it on my right hand when I noticed that it looks ugly because of the consistency. I was too shy to mention anything because I didn't want her to do it all over again but she was honest enough to actually say that I should pick a different one because this particular one was not working and she would be happy to redo it. My sister's nails don't grow fast and she was convincing her that she bites her nails.. she doesn't bite her nails though! She also asked me if i wanted my toe nails cut or filed and when i said filed she INSISTED that i'd cut them when they were already short.. This salon was clean and the people there were nice... But that's about where the positives end... There is no list of services, and no one told me what they offer, so I asked for a "full pedicure" because I want to get everything done. They took me over to a chair that looks just like a regular chair, but it has a drawer under it that pulls out with a bucket for you to put your feet in. The water wasn't warm, and worse, the bucket drawer doesn't lock in place in any way, so when your feet are propped up on the back for them to be painted, it either slides out the entire time, or you have to hold up your own foot. It was weird. They don't do any moisturizing, don't do any sort of massage... Nothing. Nor was any such service offered. They did a fine job with the actual polish, but the rest of the service I found quite lacking. read more

I don't think a manicure had EVER lasted this long, and it's not even gel! I had the sweet Vietnamese lady who wears glasses do my nails. I have been to this place 3 times. The first and the second one was for a gel manicure and pedicure. The service was good, not amazing though! The third one was for a regular manicure and pedicure. I asked the girl (I believe her name is Arpi) how much their regular manicure and pedicure cost and she said it was $26.00 for both. A new employee (who had just started working there) worked on my hand while Arpi did my feet. As soon as they started I decided I wanted to do "French" manicure and pedicure as they tried to unsuccessfully clean/remove my cuticles. Not only they did a terrible job removing my cuticles, Arpi also did a bad job doing the French manicure and pedicure! I do not recommend it to anyone! When they finished I looked at my hand and feet and could not believe how bad it looked! On top of this when I finally asked how much I owed them the owner said: It is $44.00. I was like, "what"? From $26.00 to $44.00? Then she said, "you chose to do the French manicure and pedicure so, there's an extra charge". I don't have a problem paying extra for the service but, I wish they had done a better job and they had told me about the extra charge before they started doing it! It was so bad that after 1 and 1/2 day my French manicure was totally ruined! I will definitely try another nail place in the future. I could have done a better job myself! read more

Usually I have to kind of coach the manicurists and give them advice on how to do the design I want, but she was amazing and got it spot on! I'll definitely be returning. read more

I have no complaints for this place! I came in with out an appointment and they took me in in less than 10 minutes! The lady took SUPER long but it was totally worth it! It took about 2 hours for acrylic but she really paid attention to deal like no one else I've ever been to. You know how some places paint your nails but don't get the sides or your nails? Well she didn't forget. The whole nail was nicely painted! The best part of it all was that the nails lasted me 2 weeks and 5 days!!! I went to get a fill before they started breaking so they probably could have lasted longer! I don't remember the name of the lady who did them but she was a bit older than the rest of the women. The sad part is, that I don't live close by there so I went to a local placed for the fill and they did such a horrible job! I plan to go back to Classique asap!! read more

I was looking for a cheap and nice place to get my nails done, and Classique Nails seemed like the place! I walked in and Linda was very welcoming! I chose my color and showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails, and it came out exactly how I wanted it! The cheap price I was looking for was found, they have a promotion, buy a manicure get a pedicure for free! The water used for my hands and feet was placed in a little bucket that was covered with plastic, which Linda removed before and after my pedicure! The salon is clean, cozy, and cute! What a nice place! So clean, which is important to me. All the equipment, chairs, ect seems new. Ladies that work there are so sweet and nice, not pushy or carrying on their own conversation. My experience here the first time was just okay. Nails weren't great, very mediocre. The second time was the nail in the coffin. I walked in to an empty salon. No customers, and nail techs lounging and eating on the couch. One of which was coughing and sneezing her brains out with a flu it seems. I'm there for a pedicure. It was a PAINFUL pedicure. Felt like she was tying to cut my toenail off! Of course she blamed my nails for the pain. Funny...because until that day, I had NEVER had a painful pedicure from ANY nail salon...EVER! So then some random woman walks in while I'm getting my toenails massacred and the lady doing my nails speaks to her in Armenian and then wants another girl to finish my nails. Wow! Sorry, but I was here first and was already being serviced! I think the right thing to do here is to have the walk-in be serviced by another nail tech. I look at the nail tech she wants to pass me off to and realize it's the SICK GIRL!!! I ask her if she is sick. She nods her head yes. I say I don't want her working on me. Immediately there is tension. I can tell that my statement didn't go over very well. So much for enjoying my service today. So then I see the sick girl start working on the lady who walked in. After she was coughing and sneezing into her hands and wiping at her nose with her hand. Gross! My service was supposed to include several other things which weren't done, such as massage, lotion, a scrub. Nope, nothing. Honestly, I couldn't WAIT to get out of that place, so I let it slide. My pedicure was decent looking, which is the ONLY reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. I'm not a fan of unprofessional behavior and practices at places I frequent. I found Classique Nails through Groupon and had a great experience when I went about a month ago. I had been looking for a salon that felt personal, relaxing, and fun as well as providing great service, beautiful and long-lasting results, at a really fair price. Classique Nails, was a refreshing change from the nail salon factories I kept falling into. I met Linda and Sylva who treated me like a queen and gave me a wonderful mani/pedi. This time I took my husband with me. I called ahead to see if they could take us and was told they only had an appointment for one, so I thanked them and hung up. About 10 minutes later, they called me back to say they had a cancellation! I'm so glad they did. The shop has just changed owners and was friendlier than ever. Linda was there again, and she did both of our nails, assisted by the new owner. A pedi for me and a mani/pedi for my husband all of which were done with care and great results.
