But being the quick thinker that I am, at least quicker than a group of people who had to come up with an excuse to be lazy, I decided since we're playing a game I'll play along. There's more than one way to skin a cat baby, lol. Lemme get a gel manicure, KMA! I don't even get gel manicures but since you guys wanted to play up let me get my licks in too! So now y'all gonna still spend the same amount of time and get less of my money(plus I'd been wearing acrylics so long I needed a proper manicure). I Could not be happier with this place. As soon as I walked in (10ish am on a Sat morning) i was sat down and taken care of right away. That staff is very professional, very careful, and really work to your need. I had a gel polish, on both my fingernails, and toes and was out of there within 35 minutes! And for the price, you definitely can not beat it! I paid $22 +tip. If you are a germaphobe, this might not be the place for you. Not that the salon is dirty, but it is older, chairs and stands are not the newest, some of their pedicure chairs have scratches and dents in them. The salon is big, and there are about 30 workers, if not more. Some of the manicurists are super friendly and love to talk. They make you feel very welcome. They dilute their nail polish! I've seen this in businesses that like to stretch their product. Therefore, they add nail polish remover or acetone to make the polish last. However, this weakens the polish. I went for a gel pedicure and the color turned tan/grey after 4 days and then started peeling off! I have been getting gel on my toes for years! I was recommended this salon and I will not recommend it to my worst enemy. I paid for a friend to get a regular pedi and mani and when we told them it wasn't going to be gel, they only did one coat and it ended up coming off the same day. I came back after my vacation and asked for a refund. The manager was rude and told me to call the cops or sue him if I want my money back. I came across this place because many nail shops where I live were closed due to COVID! After looking online I came across this nail shop and was so happy to know that they were open. So I gave them a try. First time, I was so pleased with my eye brows. Also I got a gel manicure and pedicure. My nails where so clumped up and nail polish left around my finger tips. Also, the gel was lifting up the next day. ‍ I decided to give them a second chance today. After the first bad experience I don't know why I decided to do this but I did. So I got my eye brows done, they were nice as they were the first time. I then got a gel manicure and pedicure. This time it was worse than the first time some nails where long and some short some square and some rounded . In addition, the nail polish was clumped up. I pointed it out to the nail tech and bless her heart she did even my nails out and tried to paint them again; however, they still came out clumpy. I am convinced that they just hire some of anybody after reading the reviews and my experience. I will not give them a third chance. I left here feeling like i needed to be sanitized, wasted my time, and ripped off. If you are looking for a clean spa like experience where the work stations, chairs, and tools are cleaned after every use, THIS IS NOT THAT PLACE! On 8/6/22 I went for a pedicure. The spa chair was dirty, the tech tried to use the towel from the last client on me, you have to tell them to clean their tools. The pedicure was rushed and done under 15 minutes. The tech skipped so many steps and did a horrible job trying to paint my nails. I had to ask for lotion at the end. I got gum stuck to my pants from the dirty spa chair. Complaining to the owner will do you no good. She defended the speed and bad paint job by calling her tech a "professional".
