Today was my first time going into this place and I could not be happier with my results. I went in for gel extensions and the technician explained the entire process and broke down pricing as well, prior to beginning anything. My technician took her time while doing my nails and kept asking throughout the process if everything looked as i expected or if she should change anything. Even the decor and the environment is so well decorate and they have the newest in nail technology. Loved my experience and will definitely be visiting again soon! :) read more

Oh boy do I have a story for you. So my friend and I show up, her wanting acrylics as well as a pedicure and me only wanting acrylics. The man who did pedicures was busy so my friend had to wait for him to finish so the lady who was available started helping me out. I chose my color and was really excited because this place had descent reviews. I have to admit, I was skeptical when I first called before coming in because the man who had answered the phone sounded rude, I thought I was just being paranoid because I've only ever had bad experiences at nail salons (including a hole being drilled into my finger) so I ignored that bad feeling and went in. When I sat down the lady was so nice, I already loved her! I even asked her to go easy on filing my nails because a week before this I had my nails done but they unfortunately fell off, so my nails were pretty thin. She did just that! And I was so happy someone was finally doing me right. But then she glued the tips on, which felt too wide for my nails, she didn't even measure them on before gluing them on she literally just eyed it and then glued them on. But I kept telling myself "she knows what she's doing" and didn't say anything. At this point the guy who was supposed to do my friends nails disappeared into the back and never came back. Then she cut them (because I wanted coffin shaped) and I noticed two of my nails of my right hand were SO CROOKED. I don't mean slightly slanted enough to get away with no I mean that shit was pointing north east. I mentioned it to her and she said "ok" and filed some off, but it was still crooked. Now I'm no sail salon expert or whatever but if a nail is crooked, filing a little off won't fit it. Best case scenario they take it off and put a new one on, no big deal. When she took out the acrylic powder and liquid I panicked, I was like there is no way she's putting acrylic on these crooked ass nails. So I said "wait what are you doing these are still crooked". I know that sounds a little harsh but ya girl was scared ok. And she said "do you wanna tell me how to do my job?" I was shook. She was soooo mad and I was so confused. She said I had to wait for the end results because she still had to shape them or whatever and I was like ok if you say so. But then my friend said "Alondra, idk if you should be doing this" and I knew she was right because I could sense the lady already had a bad attitude towards me and was only going to half ass my nails so I pulled my hands back before she could place acrylic on me and she said "you don't want your nails done?" And I said no I'm sorry. So this lady, lord give me strength, straight up just cuts the nail tips down, doesn't take them off, puts her equipment away then turns the light off and gets up and says ok bye have a nice day. I was so stunned I was like that did not just happen. So yea that's the last time I'm ever going to a nail salon because my luck with them sucks (: I have posted pictures of how I left the salon incase you're curious. read more

Came in to do a nude coffin set; showed her a couple pictures that inspired me & was able to replicate it very well. She was also patient & took her time with me to make my nails precise. Came here on a weekday afternoon. I found this place while driving around in the area and in dire need of a gel mani and pedi. It wasn't too busy, they were able to start on me right away which Was a plus for me because I do not have much time to spare. Anyways, I got a gel manicure from a lady name Annie. Sweet lady she is! She listened to everything I asked for as to the shape and how I hate how some shops never manage to make my gel stay longer than a week! Sure enough my gel has been on for 3 weeks now and has not chipped once! Awesome work Annie. My pedicure was done by A young girl name Jessica. She also has done an awesome job on my pedicure. My foot was looking and feeling REAL smooth! Overall, this is a great shop with great service. I will definitely be back here if ever I am in the area. read more

Don't ask me why I was in Oxnard but here I am, yelping away trying to find a spot to do my nails. Came across this place due to their positive reviews and they did not disappoint! Everyone was super friendly upon walking in, I'm quite indecisive too so I was taking my sweet time trying to figure out what I want and they didn't seem annoyed at all and actually gave me many options and suggestions. During the process, they made sure I was 100% happy with every step before making the final touches. I was beyond satisfied in the end. Let me start with Clean.... This place was supper clean and smelled so good. Everything is sanitized before being used. I was around the area and got my gel manicure and reg pedi. Jessica and Annie were amaizing. They are super gentle with my toes and hands. Even though they were super busy on a Friday evening, they still took their time... they did not rush me at all. Showed a picture and results did not look like the picture, they look cute but way too subtle can't even tell I have my nails done unless they're in your face. Went in to get acrylics, the length of the nails costed extra and costed more for coffin, at Nice Nails in Oxnard they don't charge for the length or the shape. I didn't get the name of the man who did my nails but my thumb nail is crooked and the polish doesn't look clean around the edges but some how took almost 1 hour and 30 min not even including wait time. read more

I got a regular manicure and 2 days later there was only half of it left. The day after I got my nails done the chipping started and the chipping got even worse the 2nd day. Even though I didn't do anything that would damage my nails they would still chip. Will not be returning, I'd prefer my manicures to last more than a day. I was in there today and wow shocked at how horrible the lady treated me so I went in there and showed her a picture of what I wanted she said she didn't know how to do that I though ok whatever she's older and it was a more modern nail style so then she was rude from there on. While doing my nails the nail on my index broke off and she just tried layering it with more acrylic powder which no matter what it would not HOLD!!! I paid $36 for a pedicure and they gouged my toe open with the foot scraper. They proceeded to put nail glue on it afterwards and sunk it back into the dirty foot water. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home and found a huge globby bloody mess that hurts to walk on!! I don't think I would ever go here again. I went to have my nails done for my graduation and I showed the male that works there if he can do this design . He said yes. I was excited. He started with my manicure. When he got to the part where he was going to polish he asked if I wanted to pay now. So I said ok. It wasn't a problem for me. As he was painting them and got to the design part I asked for cheetah print as I showed in the picture. I started to notice he had no idea was he was doing. They were ugly diamond looking things I have no idea what they were. I was so disappointed I was already there for an hour and I had to still go do my hair. Randy had charged me $25 for a pedi(French tip) then two weeks later he charges me $29 (just regular color) he said it's always been that price .
