Very modern and clean, with a great selection of colors. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes tops as a walk-in and they are always up front about the wait. They listen, and do exactly what I want, and happily make adjustments if asked. They are usually busy when I go, and have plenty of service stations and staff. I usually have my ear buds with me but never use them because I like the music. Wi-Fi seems good, but I prefer to read on my kindle when they are doing my nails. read more

I went to TD Nail Studio in Oxnard on 3/30/26 for a French tip manicure and pedicure, and this was honestly a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. While getting my pedicure, the technician asked me if everything looked okay. I politely pointed out a few small things that could be fixed--nothing rude, just answering the question I was asked. Another technician (who was working on my hands) interrupted and said, "we're not robots," which immediately made me feel uncomfortable for simply giving feedback. I understand that no service is perfect, but if you're asking a client for their opinion, they should be able to answer honestly without being made to feel like a problem. The technician doing my toes reassured me that it was okay to speak up, but the environment already felt tense after that comment. At one point, I even asked if there was someone else who could do the French tips more precisely, and I was completely ignored. No one offered help or tried to accommodate the request. Later on, when I was asked again how things looked, the same technician made a sarcastic remark ("bingo, you finally figured it out"), which was unprofessional and unnecessary. Because of this, when it came time to do the French tips on my hands, I ended up telling her to just leave them nude. I didn't feel comfortable continuing with the design after how I had been spoken to, which completely defeats the purpose of going in for a specific service. I did express, respectfully, why I was upset. I communicated what I wanted, and instead of being accommodated, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional comments. After leaving, I called the salon to explain how I felt because I initially wanted to come back in and have my nails fixed. I spoke with Melanie, who asked if my toes were okay. I told her I needed to get home and take a closer look first. Once I did, I realized how poorly they turned out. At this point, I no longer feel comfortable going back, and honestly the only resolution that would feel fair is a refund. As you can see in the photos, the results didn't match what I asked for, especially with the French tips on my toes, and I didn't even receive the design I originally wanted on my hands. As a paying customer, I should be able to communicate how I want my nails done without being spoken to disrespectfully or made to feel like a problem. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here and I feel asking for a refund isn't unreasonable since I was ignored when I asked if someone else can do the work more precisely. Save your money and go somewhere else to get quality work. read more

This was honestly one of the worst nail salon experiences I've had. My friend and I came in expecting decent service, but the quality was terrible. They couldn't even do a simple design or a basic French tip, even though I showed clear picture references of exactly what I wanted. My nails had to be redone multiple times and it was still wrong. The whole appointment took way longer than it should have, and it felt like no one really knew what they were doing. On top of that, I paid $82 for nails I'm completely unhappy with. For that price, the work should at least look clean and professional, which it definitely didn't. I left frustrated and disappointed. Definitely not worth the money. read more

Steve was so wonderful and thorough and did a great job prepping my nails, applying the tips and builder gel, and helping me map out my colors. However, the colors were applied unevenly. the nail surface has a very dissatisfying globby appearance. I got a milky white base and glitter ombré; beautiful design, but There is no smooth taper. It is Thick and globby at the base. He was so sweet and helpful; but i dropped $ on a nail job that I will now have to drop even more $ to get redone somewhere else. They look good from a distance but upon closer look it's a yikes. I really can't stand them. He was very helpful and kind, and the design would've been amazing if it were applied more smoothly and evenly. Really bummed, and really hope TD nail studio will get me my money back. read more

Went in there for a manicure and pedicure, the older guy who asked for what service I picked the $45 one, and asked for GEL on toes, had him before and didn't like the work on my toes, was just to shy to asked if I could have someone else to do my toes, waited and waited for my manicure to start and by the time I was ALL done with my pedicure finally they came asking about they ready for my manicure I said "NO thank you" I was already upset that the guy messed up my pedicure didn't give me the services I asked AND burn my skin from not paying attention, and didn't even bother to cut off my cuticles and side skin from pedicure it was part of the package service I chose. The other ladies knew already that I was fed up and asked if I wanted gel on my toes I said yes that's what I asked for but 45 min later I'm unhappy and just want to leave. read more

I was charged an extra $5 for my daughters manicure because she picked 5 different colors for her nails. Is this normal? I asked the price when we arrived and was told $40 for soft gel nails, but when I went to pay it went up to $45 because of the 5 different colors. Just asking because as a dad, I have no idea. I just wasn't happy with the coats of gel nail polish applied. Best full set I've ever had! Came as a walk in and saw Mr Joey, he fixed the shape and thickness of the set I had on previously. Absolutely beautiful work, polish is perfect and the shape of the nails made my whole hand look much nicer and more natural. I went in for a normal pedicure with regular nail polish. Unfortunately, the man who scrubbed my feet did it for 5sec and moved on to the next thing. I also requested for my toe nails to be cut shorter, he didn't answer me. His coworker assured me that it "got it!" No he didn't. I wouldn't be going back to pay $40 for a pedicure where they don't cut your toe nails HOW THE Customers want it, no need for scrubbing, cuticles weren't done well, and the nail polish was uneven.
