I'm visiting from out of town and needed a nail fill after one of my nails chipped. My usual technician back home does very detailed designs, so when I called to book, I specifically asked for someone experienced with nail art. When I arrived 15 minutes later, they had no idea who I even was. I showed the technician the design I wanted and asked if she could do it. I made it clear that I was completely open to choosing something simpler if it wasn't within her skill set. Instead of answering the question, she repeatedly responded with "it's up to you" and showed visible attitude when I tried to clarify. Unfortunately, the final result did not match the design I showed. The nail shapes were uneven and the acrylic application looked misshapen. I did not even get cuticle oil at the end. I was charged $75 for an acrylic fill. I still tipped generously but the overall experience and quality did not meet expectations. read more

Myself, mom & mother in law went in for pedicures & manicures (mine was a full set, they got traditional manicures). We did not have appointments but they were able to accommodate all 3 or us together & brought us back right away. 1) My Pedicure was bomb. Massage was great & the treatments actually helped. No more rough skin! 2) My acrylics came out so pretty. I showed him a picture of what I wanted but with a couple of tweaks & he made it happen! 3) Everyone who helped us was very nice and joking around, we really liked the vibe. Special thanks to Robert who did my manicure & pedicure. The only thing I would do differently is ask to see polishes before hand. First I came here being lazy I should have just drove & went to where I normally go. I needed a full set and asked to have my nails removed and get a new set and the man basically told me no. So he did a fill which is my fault I should have said no I want a new set. Anyways during the service he seemed like he was inconvenienced and kept pulling my hands. Then I couldn't tell while inside but when we were done and I got in the natural light the nails looked horrible. They were big thick bulky and uneven. I went straight to my regular place immediately after and Waited another 2 hours to get them fixed. Didn't even want my money back or to ask them to fix it. Never again. I wanted ombre but she didn't know how and instead of them giving me a different technician. They said she would try and I said never mind. Just give me Jill nail polish. I got a pedicure here at I thought it was pretty pricey $36 for gel pedicure plus tip and I only had a $40 so $40 for just a pedicure this is expensive for me. Not sure that I will be back unless it's the only place available. It says Cash discount no discount was given to me. Can't even say the scrubbing or massage was worth it because it's literally like 30 sec scrub disappointed. I really like the color though so stars are for the color. read more

I haven't been to this location in a long time. I couldn't make it to my original nail place today because I moved and it's a bit of a drive for me now. I went back to Le's O Nails in search of a very simple almond shape acrylic set. I now remember why I hadn't gone back. The nail tech completely RUSHED his work with my nails. He made two of my fingernails bleed, some nails were shaped very almond while others were shaped very round, there is different sizes on the nail length, and what got me more upset was that he left all of the dripping acrylic under the nail dry and did not bother on fixing it until I told him. I didn't understand why he was going to let me walk out like that if it took him less than 20 seconds to fix that. Of course I was not going to tip him because I did not like the way he rushed his work, which clearly showed in my nails. So at the time I showed him my phone screen with proof that I had Zelled him just the amount that was due I said thank you, and he did not respond. I am assuming he got upset because there was no tip. I will never be going back to this place as I never have a good experience there. read more

Best nail salon in Ventura County! ...really the best nail salon I've ever been to and I've been to a fair share of salons. I am now living in San Diego and will still hold off and drive back to my hometown just to get my nails done. I have now been to two salons in SD (and plenty in Ventura County) that have done terrible work. My acrylics will chip/break within the first week and already be ready for a fill by the second week. Granted, I am rough with my nails but when I come to Le's they always last at least 3 weeks. Last month all my nails stayed in tact with the exception of one, which was my fault, for 4 weeks! I go to either Brian or Holly. Because of my hectic schedule, I never really know when I'll be back in town but these two have always been so accommodating when I ask for a last minute appointment. They've always squeezed me in or came in early to make sure I get my fill :) & they both do awesome work! The salon is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend Le's O Nailsbecause they have a wide variety of polish colors, quality products, excellent service, and always stay up on new trends. They are also very reasonably priced, giving discounts if you pay with cash & provide a rewards program. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! read more

I've been here about 4 times now. Always for a pedicure. My girlfriend has her nails done before. You save $3 from each item when you pay with cash Every time I come here the staff is so friendly and nice. They have gotten out in-grown toe nails that I could not do myself. I always recommend people to come here. Even recently got my dad to come with me for pedicures. He really enjoys them and he is super glad I convinced him to come. First, I HATE making bad, no complimentary reviews; but, this whole "service" just didn't sit right with me :( Now, for the facts: Saturday walk-in, for acrylic removal & new gel manicure. I was asked to return in 1 hr & 15 mins; & since I couldn't make an appt, I gladly agreed, thanked them for accommodating me & said I would return at the requested time. Well, upon my arrival, I was instructed to sit in acetone - for literally nearly 45 mins - while my nail tech was working on other customers. Eventually, by the time my fingers were actually hurting, my nail tech returned to give me thisssss "manicure" - which included little to no cuticle cutting, trimming, etc; left with uneven/lumpy nails/nail beds; just painted over with approx 5 coats - with no mention or noticing of uneven sizes, the inconsistent painting, the dried polish left on the sides of nails, i was even left with hardening residual gel on my hands & fingers that was kicked up from the drilling. At the "end", when I saw what poor condition my nails were in, I asked if certain things (like the dried polish, overgrown cuticles, aesthetics with the lumpiness, etc) could be remedied; & the nail tech would then work on one nail, then ask if it was okay - & when I said no & pointed out other nails, she would only look at/repair specifically what I was mentioning. So, after this entire process taking nearly 1 hour AND 45 mins, I paid $41 for my hands to look like t.h.i.s. All in all, a major waste of time AND money. I give this place two stars because Brian is nice and accommodating but Fridays experience really made me upset. I made an appointment and was told to come by at 12:30. Then I saw a sign that says they are no longer taking debit or credit cards and it's cash or check only. It was so packed in there that I didn't realize there was an atm machine and when I asked Brian about a nearby chase he told me it was on rose ave (I'm from SB) It wasn't until o came back from the bank and sitting in my chair that I realized there was an atm INSIDE the salon. Why didn't he tell me this?! Idk. Anyway, I get seated and it was so awkward. I was only given two books as my options for dip (which was originally what I wanted) and they were pretty ugly colors. Then after waiting 10 minutes my tech comes over to me and asks what color I want. I show her a pic and they give me options that were so far off that it made deciding what color I wanted incredibly annoying and difficult. So I then decided screw the dip, I'll do gel. Well those colors were ugly too. When they were taking my dip off they used that machine to do so and they thinned my nails out so freaking much. I have been trying to get my nails healthy and been going to a salon close to home that had pretty much made them so healthy...well that went to crap yesterday because they are so flimsy, they are chipped and my nail already broke from two days ago. Not only that, but the woman who did my toes was soooo rude. She wanted to over charge me and since I caught on, she was not stoked on me. She didn't give me the pedicure option like the girl next to me got. When I asked her for a callus removal she told me my feet were fine. She'd tap at my feet to get me to do what she wanted instead of telling me and she was just incredibly uncomfortable to be around. I will not ever go back here again. I remembered when I left that this was the place that ruined my nails and now I have to go back to my regular girl to get them fixed, causing me to spend even more money. Now I understand why they don't accept cards, the chargebacks for terrible work must have been killing them read more

The ombré was done very nicely and I'm super happy with the shape. Done by Helen and she was very sweet. The sparkle design was not cheap and all the glitter part of it came off the next day. I absolutely love coming to get my nails done at this shop. When I first moved to the area I ventured in find MY new nail shop. I experienced such horrible services, ugly work being done, and not to mention getting fungus on several nails from previous shops. I was so upset and was ready to give up until my husband recommended that I try this place out (he's from the area). The first time I came they were extremely busy. Walk-ins are welcomed, and though there's a bit of a wait, it's definitely worth it! I was paired with Kristina. Had she not told me that she was fairly new to working with acrylics I would have never known or guessed it. She does such amazing work with my nails. They turn out better than what I envision my nails to look like. Not to mention she adds her own flair to the designs that I ask for. She is so patient with me when asking for a specific design. She is very talented! She's also super sweet. She is also very upfront on how her schedule works and so there are no surprises to whether or not she's available at a certain time. She does get booked so quickly because she's THAT good! Honestly, Kristina is so sweet and super patient. There have been times when I ran so late for an appointment and she's so understanding and worked with me when those situations occurred. I have been to so many nail technicians and I am a VERY, VERY picky person when it comes to my nails. I am very specific what I like and what I don't like. With all the times I've gone to her she's exceeded my expectations and much more. At this point I leave it up to her with what she wants to do when it comes to my nails with a slight guidance from myself as far as color or a specific design. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RUINING MY NAILS AND WASTING MY TIME!!! Today's experience was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!! I was so unhappy with how my nails came out that I had rivers of tears coming down my face! I have events scheduled for the next 6 days; a baby shower, red carpet appearance, photo shoots, and an appearance on TV!! The appearance of my nails have to look IMMACULATE!!!! I asked for an acrylic to be placed on one of my toe nails because it had fallen off and it's so short that it's super noticeable. When I was asked if I wanted a cut down on my toenails, I assumed they'd all be the same size AND SHAPE! My toes are now rectangles and squares! Plus, no freaking acrylic was ever put on like I asked!!!! My fingernails were so hideous and uneven that I didn't care about getting them fixed. I WANTED THEM TAKEN OFF IMMEDIATELY!! I asked for coffin shaped nails with a glittery French tip ombré -- she gave me THICK, tapered nails with a glittery ombré that you could barely see! To top it off -- the nail tech, Moon, had the audacity to take off her smock, fling it on the chair, slam drawers at the station and storm out it the salon! As if I did something to her!! WHO DOES THAT?! WHERE ARE YOUR MANNERS AND PROFESSIONALISM?! Firing Moon will not fix anything and I'm not the type of person to insist to an owner to do such thing, but her behavior in front of several clients is a giant NO-NO.
