Went in for a basic French tip nail set using builder gel. The woman who helped me was not very polite and seemed rushed. She did not greet me kindly or engage with me with a positive attitude. Her rude demeanor was enough for me to feel uncomfortable. I noticed my left thumb nail felt like it was stinging when she filed it down, but dismissed it thinking it was normal. I later noticed that she overfilled all of my nails when I removed them and found rings of fire on my natural nails. My left thumb was the most damaged, it was cracked! Not just over-filed, but cracked on the surface! I regret going and would not go back. It has taken more than two months for my nails to grow back out and I can still see the damage. Horrible experience asked for chrome pedicure. Asked for girl who always does my pedicures was told she wasn't in. They said everyone was good... I then told nail tech I wasn't happy with color. She filed my skin and cut me three times!! I paid but upon paying I tried telling the front desk. They didn't want to listen to me. I called later to speak to the manager. No customer should be made to feel like they're wrong!! I work in a spa , and customer service. Upon calling today to come back for the fix, 4 days later I was told I'd have to pay another 28 dollars for a polish change on top of the 65 I already originally paid... or thecould put polish on top of polish. NT did my fill and design, she is very talented and gave me exactly what I'd asked for and Joan who did my pedicure gave me a fabulous leg/foot massage. Left me smooth and the products smelled so good; I opted for the collagen treatment. Although I'm happy with the overall look I did receive a cut on my left big toe & I would've really liked my toes to match my hands more for the price point. They were done by two different women I think maybe the skill sets were different. I'd asked for a red flower on my big toes to match my hands then I was handed nails stickers to choose from. I've had my nails done by almost every tech at this establishment. Three gentlemen, and three ladies with the exception of two ladies. There's only one tech that I really like and can manage to do full sets and fills that don't lift. She's on maternity leave. Not sure if she's coming back. I believe nail lifting on customers is a regular thing because they have a specific tech assigned for "fixes" which entails primarily gluing the lifting nail down with nail glue, which of course only lasts a day or two then lifts again or comes off completely. Then you have to go back again before they totally replace the nail. They are skilled with the actual nail designs, I can pick anything on instagram and they're able to duplicate it. The major problem is the lifting literally 2-3 days after the fill or set. Also I've even had the polish peel off once. It's kind of infuriating when you're paying $70-$80 or more for nails and they lift, don't even last a week. I also had a pedicure that ruined my big toenail. She was digging way too much to the point I felt my nail rip from my skin on the inside of my big toenail and it hasn't been the same since. I had another pedicure with a different tech the next time and customer service was lacking. I told her not to touch that area and she kept insisting she had to so I won't get an ingrown nail. If I were to have an I grown nail it would be the previous techs fault, I've never had one in my life. She was very persistent to the point I thought she was going to do it anyway despite my refusal. I stuck to my guns, it was my pain not hers. Needless to say she had an attitude after that. Honestly, I haven't gotten a pedicure since, the combination of both was low key trauma. Speaking of ripping, they don't soak the nails off sometimes, they use a nail tip to get under the nail to rip off your acrylics. I definitely believe the reviewer who said they broke her nail and she was bleeding. Two stars for their skill at the designs and the one tech I found that knew what she was doing as far as the nails not lifting. Other than that I would give a 0 if I could. I haven't been there in months and won't go back. I am currently looking for another salon seems to be slim pickins in these streets. read more

When I repeated my request, Linda seemed upset and began speaking in her native language. Although she eventually added the powder, I wasn't satisfied with the shaping and filing of my nail. Specifically, the nail was left too wide, and my request was to file it more and she didn't do it instead she just cut a piece with a nail clipper thinking that will help.
