I will never be returning to this nail salon. They are always super busy, but unfortunately, the quality of their service just doesn't match the wait times or the prices. My daughter's pedicure was honestly one of the worst she's had. She even spoke up and pointed out that there was polish left all over the skin around her toes. He tried to fix it, but there was still polish on her skin afterward. She also got a full Gel-X set last Tuesday. The design and details were spot on, so we were initially really happy with them. However, only a week later, one nail literally flew off while she was simply getting her folded laundry to put away. Then another one came off. We were charged $15 to repair a nail that came off on its own, and now, just one day after getting that repair, we noticed TWO more nails are already lifting from the bottom. For a Gel-X set to have multiple nails popping off and lifting after only a week is extremely disappointing, especially considering what you pay for a full set. Something clearly went wrong with the application or curing. We will definitely be going back to Blossom Nails. Heidi does an amazing job on my daughter's toes every time, and the gentleman who does acrylic nails there is amazing as well. Sorry, Skyline, but between the long wait times and the quality of service we experienced, it's just not worth it for us. read more

My manicurist Linda is AMAZING. UNFORTUNATELY, the manager of this place Benny is absolutely disrespectful and sarcastic. After he processed my payment, he was rushing me out of the door when I still have some questions. He even said to me "What else do you want, I can help you the whole day." I called on Sunday to make a reservation and they advised to come in before 5pm because they are only taking walk ins. I took an Uber and arrived at 4:40pm, and they did not even make an effort to accommodate. The next person who came in had apparently called a few minutes before to make an appointment and they were easily able to accommodate them and asked her to sign in. My recommendation to the business would be to be upfront over the phone and let customers know what the wait time is projected to look like, and suggest arriving before 4:30pm instead of 5pm. Because of their misleading guidance, I wasted money, time, and commute. If you are looking for a place that values customer service and hospitality, this place will not be it. They also gave my sister an infection on her toe from the pedicure and cut her really bad. I didn't get an infection but I was cut pretty bad on my toe as well. I really wanted to give Skyline Nails 5 stars because the quality of the services was excellent. The three of us all had the Signature Gel Pedicure, and it truly felt like a spa experience. It was one of the best pedicures we've had. Our Gel-X manicures also turned out great. The staff was friendly and did beautiful work, and Linda was especially wonderful--she gave me an amazing massage during my pedicure. The only reason for 4 stars is how appointments were handled. We made a 9:30 a.m. reservation (their opening time) and arrived on time, expecting we'd all be started promptly. Instead, only one of us started right away. Another didn't begin until about 10:15, and I didn't even get water in my chair until 10:15 and started at 10:40 after asking about our appointment. Meanwhile, several walk-in customers who said they didn't have appointments and customers with later appointments were started before us. The staff themselves were caring and professional, so this seemed more like an organizational issue than an employee issue. I just wish appointments had been prioritized over walk-ins. Overall, we left very happy with the quality of our treatments and would absolutely return because the services were spa quality. If the appointment process were better organized, Skyline Nails would easily earn 5 stars from me. read more

I did have to wait about 30 min over my appointment time, when I sat down with Alex for my gel X service I was not disappointed he did exactly the design I asked for and took his time, he didn't rush through my appointment at all. They do good nails here, and I keep wanting to give them another chance because they are so close to where I live. However, it is getting very frustrating that even when you have an appointment, you are still expected to wait at least an hour. I understand that walk ins are part of the business, but that should not mean they are prioritized over customers who took the time to schedule an appointment. Today, I arrived at 11:00 a.m. for my 12:00 p.m. appointment because I was hoping to get a pedicure beforehand. I did not have an appointment for the pedicure, so I completely understand having to wait for that. I am not complaining about that because that was my choice. By the time 12:00 p.m. rolled around, I no longer cared about getting a pedicure. I was perfectly fine with just having my nails done because that was the appointment I had actually scheduled, and not booking a pedicure was on me. My issue is that when my appointment time came, I was told I would still have to wait because there was another client ahead of me due to the salon being behind from taking walk ins. At that point, I had a scheduled appointment, and I should not have had to wait another hour. If appointments are consistently delayed because of walk ins, then there is really no point in making one. This is not the first time this has happened. I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but this has become a pattern, and it is very frustrating when you schedule your day around an appointment only to end up waiting well past your reserved time. Unfortunately, this was the final straw for me. I really like the quality of their work, but I am not willing to schedule an appointment only to wait an hour or more after my appointment time. read more

Run away from this place! They have NO idea what they're doing and then they burned my skin! I came in for a Halloween design. Double checked that I could get someone with a design. The guy said he'd try but if not they'll find someone else. Totally fine. But they he started to remove my polish as if it were builder gel, I didn't say anything at first and then he called over another artist. She said yes it's builder gel and I told them it was not. It was regular nude gel with chrome on top. She kept telling me I was wrong (I got the previous nails done a few weeks ago at a different shop) and I kept telling her I've gotten builder and regular gel for YEARS so I know the difference and she had him continue to take it off as builder. They used some chemicals on the nail to try to melt off the existing polish. It burned instantly. I had to wash my hand 5 times. He used alcohol to try to take off whatever was still on there and I left with burnt fingers. Don't even try this place. Look elsewhere! read more

I get my nails done quite often, every couple weeks at other salons & this has never happened to me before. I am new to the area and was looking for a new salon.
