I had called two days prior to get a quote on dip powder nails the lady had told me they were $50.. day of my appointment I didn't know they charge to take off previous dip powder nails. The process taking off my old set was extremely damaging to my nails as the guy kept ripping them off with his plier tool instead of soaking them with aluminum foil. He dug is finger nails under mine to try and get the rest off. In total with a new pink and white set, he charged me $80 which was way different from the price they told me over the phone. This appointment nearly took me two hours just for a set of dip nails and three days later my $80 dip set chipped off. Never going back again.

Sooooo bad. I will have to reschedule do them at home myself. I asked for the cuticles to get evened out and this is the outcome. Not sure how they accepted payment for this job.

I hate to give a bad review but I asked for sleek almond shaped nails and got this. I'm not happy with the shape at all, they are lumpy and not filled in all the way. I asked to get them filled in and shaped a bit better but still got uneven results. It was a waste of my time and money.

Great experience. I'm visiting from LA and I found this place on Yelp. I wasn't disappointed. They are great. Great service and clean place. The music was awesome and fun too. They are all paying attention to every customer to make sure to give eachother heads up if they feel the customer needs something. Very happy. I will come back for sure every time I visit Oxnard ^_^

We decided to go to nails obsession, just to try it out, but they were disrespectful and rude. First, I'm not sure if they clean their tools because he didn't disinfect them. Second, they asked me if I could pay first before they did my mothers nails, are you kidding me?!? They embarrassed me and made me feel uncomfortable. I've never felt so attacked by three people. It didn't feel right that everyone else paid after and we had to pay before. I left as an unsatisfied customer. read more

FIRST AND ONLY BAD NAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! I see that most of reviews are based on gel polish. I got a full set and color change on my toes with regular polish for $50.00. I had to go back three times in one week. The nail polish they use there is some off brand polish. If you are looking for quality products (China Glaze, OpI, Sally Hansen even??), DO NOT GO HERE. All three times I went there, there was someone having to also go back due to their nails being cheaply done. One girl said her fill was starting to come up after three days. I told the woman after she re painted my toes the evening before, I went home, went to bed and when I woke up the next morning, the paint was already chipping. I even had a picture for proof that had a timestamp of 7a.m. I requested then to use gel polish instead, she said I had to pay full price, AFTER she took my finger nail polish off and had fingernail polish residue all over my fingers. She then requested I pay her up front. I told her I want to make sure the job is done right first. They refused, and by this time I felt so devalued as a customer, I left and will NEVER return. They are crooks, and with this being a hole in the wall place, you would think they would have more customer appreciation. I had to go home and paint my nails myself, $50 wasted. read more

I waited an more than an hour and a half. I just left. They didn't even seem like they wanted to help me. They literally just chatted away not even trying to get their current customers done. Then someone just walked in and they took them right away! Like screw you guys. Total waste of time. read more

Worst nail salon I been to. They take forever to get to you and they don't have any color samples to chose from. Super horrible nail polish. It came off from my acrylic silicone nails after two days. They also left my acrylic nails uneven and didn't pain them all the way to the back or the tips. It was also super expensive for the job that they did. Do not recommend it at all. read more

Came out here for spring break and since it was a little colder than expected I wanted to go get my nails done. However, at the hotel I was staying at a pani- medi was $95! So I Yelp and this place seemed to have the best reviews. I got my toes done by Jennifer, they looked so much cleaner! The only bad thing I have to say is the massage was about 30 seconds long. I got my nails done by Annie. My nails were a wreck. I had previously had acrylics and my nails were in terrible shape. She cleaned them up perfectly. I wish I lived in Oxnard so I can come here again! Everyone is so friendly and all try and get to know you, you feel right at home. Highly recommend! read more

They had a clean shop and took me right away, they were super friendly. I had Annie and she did a wonderful job. She was nice and accommodating and made me look and feel great for the special event. I have been going to get my nails done at nail obsession for over 5 years now. They are so good at what they do. My favorite memories was when I was pregnant and my feet were so swollen, they would take such good care of me that by the time I was done in the chair my feet were no longer huge anymore. LOVED THIS PLACE! My first time here and the staff was very friendly. The salon was full, but I didn't have to wait long before they seated me. They had many different colors to choose from and were very professional. I got both a mani and pedi. Both were finished very clean and held up a long time, considering I work out every day and have to wash my hands often at work. I'm probably not the best person to review nails places since I always just get basic pedis. However, when a friend and I decided to try this place over the weekend, I was pretty happy. The staff were really friendly. Although the shop is on the smaller side, they were able to fit us in as walk-ins. I also love being able to pay by Square. It's out of my way to go to Oxnard for pedis, but if my Oxnard-based friend wants to do them together again, I'd go here. read more

Love my pedicure! This color makes me look tanner! I let the nail artist choose my toenail color based off the fact that I wanted to look tanner. She chose a nice bright peach color which did the trick! The foot massage was good and my feet were squeaky clean! I highly recommend this place! read more

My girlfriend is never disappointed coming here for over 10+ years due to their cleanliness and sanitation. Nice environment with lots of parking. My girl got a gel pedi from Jessica and acrylic nails from Annie! They did an amazing job on the designs!! If you want long lasting acrylics this is the right place for you. I decided go check this place out base on their yelp reviews and HANDS DOWN they were beautifully thorough with my acrylic and pedicure with taking out the callus on my heals and provided extra scrubbing on my feet for a good amount of time without rushing!! My acrylics were thin and natural and lasted for weeks and the regular nail polishes I got for my pedi lasted for weeks with no chipping and they didn't even have to use gel polish for my toes for it to stay on long. Although they don't carry all brand name regular polishes yet but their beautiful variety of colors still gets the job perfectly done as shown in all their photos! Its stays shiny and smooth...after all a "brand" is just a name when you can have the same job done with generic polishes but the cost of your service being cheaper! They carry a good variety of brand name gel polishes (Kiara Skye, Gelish, Perfect Match etc). I suggest you give this place a try you won't go anywhere else! Jessica, Annie and Randy are the most respectful, funny and caring staff you will meet..it was an honor to have met them. read more

This nail shop is by far the best nail shop in ventura county!!! The workers here are super nice and friendly... Mainly family members so they actually take their time to take care of the customers instead of most shop they rush and fight for the customers. I always have my nails done with Annie.. She does the most amazing job on my nails. Shes a sweetheart and her husband who also works here is super funny. The things that I like about this place is that they take their time on doing your nails because they care about the quality...I love their artificial nails...they have a variety of glitter nails, color tips, gel powder and pretty cool designs. I also enjoy my pedicures here because they take their time to clean your toes and its cheap!! The location is nice here since its convenient and its located in the toppers plaza which is a plus! Their pricing is also cheap and affordable :) I definitely recommend and suggest this nail salon..i did and ever since then I've been a returning customer! I love this place! :) read more

I love coming to Nails Obsession! They are very kind, helpful and attentive. I always make sure I make an appointment before I come in because they get really busy. My cuticle are always trimmed nice and clean and on point! I always leave happy. They are really good with acrylics...they do it the best cause it's naturally thin looking and doesn't break which is a plus! I also love their massage chairs since my back gets so tense from being a nurse. They also have an instagram page where they post many beautiful designs of their nail work. The staff here are super sweet and pleasant. Overall something always draws me back here every time I need my nails and toes done. read more

I been going to Randy and Annie for yearssss since they opened in 2000. This place is the only place I trust with my nails and toes!!They always put me at ease because they been in the business for decades and their work is truly amazing!! Ladies if you want natural thin looking acrylics that last for a very long time and thorough pedicures with amazing massages and beautiful colors and design I highly recommend trying this place out!! Big parking lot in the toppers pizza plaza and grab some yogurt while you wait..this is the place that's worth every penny! I love my nails!!! read more

Only place I go to that does a great job every single time. If you go wait for Annie and Randy. Trust me. The people here are really nice and genuine compared to many other salons. They use quality gel polishes such as Gelish, Kiara Skye and many other name brands. They accept cash and credit cards. Parking lot is big and spacious. The price is affordable and reasonable depending if you get great looking designs than of course you will have to pay extra. I never get cuts on my nails either. Great job guys!! I won't go anywhere else!!! read more

Was recommended by a friend to try this place and I absolutely love the cleanliness and sanitation about this place. I had a detailed work by Randy on my full set and my acrylics lasted for 3-4 weeks without a broken nail. I had a pedi by this sweet women name Annie she was very thorough with my whole pedicure and massage. They were both accomodating to your needs. This place gets super busy so book your appt but if you have to wait its worth the wait if you want your money's worth! I will defintely be returning! read more

Best salon in Oxnard with new OPI collection! You must give this place a try. I had a bridal party here and they were accomodating and helped made my party a success! Randy and Annie does EXCELLENT long lasting thin natural acrylics! This place accepts credit cards and cash. Lots of parking spaces. Make an appt so you can skip the wait! The ladies here are so nice. I didn't get her name but she did a really good job on my fill, and was pleasant to talk to. Including the fill and the color, I believe I was in the salon for about 30 minutes tops. They do a good, quick job! I will be back. read more
