Unfortunate 1st time experience- WONT BE BACK. I walked into the salon this morning & made an appt for 2pm for a mani/pedi to be done at the same time. the woman in the morning said they were short staffed so if i come back it'll be better. I came at 2 for my appt and they only did the pedi & said they didn't have anyone to do my mani. While I was getting a pedicure, the tech kept putting the equipment on the floor which was gross. The front desk woman assured me the manicure would happen shortly. another customer also getting a pedicure complained during that time about her mani/pedi not getting done at the same time as well. I usually enjoy manicures and pedicures that include massages, and this place exceeded my expectations. Ann assisted me and paired me with Tony for my pedicure and Holly for my manicure. She was very helpful and made sure to understand exactly what I wanted for my nail polish. Tony was fantastic; his leg massage was incredible, and his pedicure skills were excellent. I got my nails done on Monday and two days after one of my nails chipped (the thumb one) so I went back on Thursday to get it fixed as I paid 50+5$ tip. The same man did my nails and he was so kind by the way. He fixed it and also started filling down the rest to repolish which I told him not to as they were still fresh but was persistent I tipped him an additional 5$ for his time and for fixing it . Only for the very next day Friday, to start popping right off . I spent 60$ for these nails and they didn't even last me 7days so disappointing I'm not going back to ask to get them fixed again! It would be ridiculous. Just very disappointing I don't know if they switched from products to cheaper kind or if it was because he filled them down and they are dip. I feel like the price for getting nails done is ridiculous a lot and for them not to last a whole week is just ridiculous. read more

Can't believe I asked for a certain color on my feet and the man applied a different color. He was very rough and did a sloppy job. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this LOCATION. This visit was my first and will be my LAST! As I was getting my nails done, a mom and her two daughters had an appointment but was turned away because they were told it was the wrong location but to be honest it's the best they didn't get their nails done because they did a horrible job! read more

I think Paul is fantastic! His attention to detail is phenomenal. He is great at picking colors that go well with my skin tones and he is always in a good mood and very helpful. I love the way that he makes my nails thin yet strong and I would recommend him to everybody. But I don't really want to cause sometimes it's hard to book an appointment with him as it is. I got a Signature pedicure and was pleasantly surprised that she not only did an amazing foot massage,but she massaged up and around my knees! I already felt so relieved and pampered. I recommend Holly. She did a meticulous job and my toes look and feel pretty! There is a wide variety of color choices even for the plain polish. The salon is clean and modern. I was very pleased with my recent pedicure. They have recently upgraded this salon with new massage chairs. Everything was very clean and nice and it appears there may be new ownership. HOWEVER - and this is a BIG deal to me and why I deducted a star. It did not appear that the nail technicians were sterilizing their tools between clients. The state of California health code requires this. You can get a fungal infection, or worse, by being serviced with dirty tools. Therefore, unless I am made aware that this salon starts following the law, I will not be back. Owner, whoever you are, please make sure you provide your employees with appropriate cleaning equipment for the nail tools and enforce their use, or else it may be very damaging to your business. read more

People turn to Yelp when they feel unseen or unheard. That's definitely the case for me with Victoria's Nails. I've been coming here semi-regularly for a couple of years. There's been a steady decline in customer service. I get a simple mani-pedi, I don't do acrylics or gels or polish and I think they view me as a lower level of client. My last appointment I was placed in a chair, feet in the water and then ignored. After 20 minutes the water was cold and my feet were shriveled. I asked for a towel and started to put my shoes on, they said if I just waited another 25 minutes someone would be able to do my nails. I had an appointment, other customers came in after me and were immediately served, no I did not wait. I'm a good customer, my feet aren't gross, I tip generously. Time to find a salon that appreciates a loyal customer. read more

There is a bad attitude of superiority at the Victoria location, particularly from a nail technician named Holly. The nail polishes are old and thick, and the customer service has declined since the change of ownership. With nail salons on every corner, good service is very easy to find. I WILL be going elsewhere, because good customer service no longer exists here for me. I will NOT be returning. read more

Should inform your clients that you will not be able to assist in callus removal, and maybe don't offer or charge a service you will not be performing. Also, booked and generally always received a gel pedicure. After painting my fingernails nails, informed gel color not available for pedicure. Regular Mani and pedi 72$ before tip. read more
