This was my first time visiting Nails Maxx. Took my mom and aunt to treat them and we had a very good experience. Technicians were careful to not nick our skin and there wasn't a lot of chitchat (which I appreciate). I had light pink Nexgen polish applied by Paul and they look very pretty. Everyone was very friendly. I will be going back for sure. Overview of some of the prices: * Nexgen Polish (Powder Dip) - $35 * Cuticle Trim - $5 * Classic Mani - $16 * Hand Wax Treatment - $7

They did my nails for my wedding and they look just like the picture I showed them when they finished. They did great on cleaning up my cuticles and great on my pedicure as well. Very nice staff. You can tell you are their priority. Im very rough with my hands, dont pay attention to making sure im tedious with my nails. And I have had no breakage at all. They have lost a bit of their sharpness on the edges and the shine. But that is expected to happen to any nails you ever get.

This is the first time I have ever wrote a bad review. I came here with my mom for the first time last week. I had a lady do my nails and they turned out all bumpy and lumpy. The dip is hanging off the sides of my nails. One nail already cracked. She got frustrated with how it looked and she started to buff them again towards the end. When she did it, it was very aggressive and she sliced my pinky. I got the upgraded pedicure and they still tried to upsell me. Asked me twice. Told them I wanted paint on my toes. They started doing gel on my toes and my mom had to tell me to look down. I told the guy I said paint and he said he thought I nodded yes to gel. Then I have them cash to pay. They only gave me back my change in 20's hoping that's how I would tip them. Just stay away. Trust me.

I used to come here a lot when they were still good, but now they charge for every little thing (like cutting my cuticles??? It's an extra $5) and Lee was not good at all my nails are uneven and when I asked her to fix my thumbs she started talking about me to the worker next to her. Yes, I understand Vietnamese so y'all shouldn't be talking about people when it's THEIR nails. Never coming back here again.

They must be under new management this summer? I've been coming here every three weeks for 2 years and on my last visit, I was shocked to find out that out of nowhere, my nail tech no longer works there (not by her own decision), the color I usually get has been thrown away, and the prices went up. It's a shame, this place used to be high quality and a great value. The new front desk girl didn't even glance up from her phone when I walked in and there were a bunch of young men (employees or family members? They definitely weren't getting pedicures) with their feet kicked up, playing on their phones in the pedicure chairs. And for the first time ever, I wasn't offered a drink - unsure if this perk was discontinued or if the staff was just too engrossed in their phones. For as much as they're charging now, I can and will go to a much nicer salon with a professional atmosphere.

I called ahead for an apt same day. I had Nevik for a full set. He explained the differences between Next Gen nails and acrylics. I ended up doing the next gen. The powder went on easily and shaped more naturally. They were so hospitable and professional. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place and I'll be back

I love them they did so good on the nails Tk did amazing on my nails she got them to the perfect shape,length and color. She did and amazing job as for the people who did my daughters nail and predicure they did amazing too and I think they all a pat on the back. I'm sorry I don't know their names.

Why go anywhere else in Allen?! From the friendly staff welcoming me when I go in, the clean salon, the organic products to the nails that look amazing every time- this place is the best! No there are no chandeliers, no waterfalls and no full bar that seems to be flooding the shopping centers. But what you get is a high quality nail job by lovely people. read more

This is hands down the best nail salon i've ever been to and i've been to all of the ones in allen + mckinney. TK ALWAYS does an excellent job, she is a pure perfectionist which shows in her work. This is an all organic nail spa which is amazing for your nails as well! Wow. This is now the only place I'll ever get my nails done so long as I live here! I'm a first year Kindergarten teacher under a lot of stress and my boyfriend sent me here to unwind. I'm so glad he did. T did my pedicure and Tram did my manicure. Everyone here is so kind and inviting. They were laughing and joking with all the customers. T and Tram were especially wonderful to me -- not only was their company wonderful, but their work on my horrific nails was transformational! Best pedi/mani I've received in a very long time! They even gave me a TEACHER DISCOUNT! Praise be. read more

I usually loooove this place! They always do a great job and are super friendly, but tonight I care in 45 minutes before they closed and it seemed like I was an inconvenience. I had a pedicure and unfortunately i wasn't paying attention, so when she finished i didn't notice that she forgot the top coat. You can see from the picture that my right big toe is matte. I added my own top coat on the left big toe. read more

Overall love this place and have been coming for about two years. However my last visit was a bit rushed and when I got home and looked at my pedicure I had some spots on my toe nails where it didn't get painted completely. I hope my next visit is better and more thorough. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday and everything about it was great! We had a group of 3 that all got mani's & pedi's and we were all done within an hour and a half (even with a pretty full salon). Paul did my nails perfectly and i will definitely be back to see him! This is the first time when I've gotten tips put on (and shaped) that my nails weren't sore the next day because he was gentle and clearly knows what he's doing. I also seem to almost always get cut at other salons but that did not happen here. Highly recommend! read more

This was my first visit to this nail Salon! I've gone to a few over the last year trying to find "my" salon that cares, takes their time and friendly atmosphere! Well, I found it. I loved my experience at Nails Maxx! The selection of polish colors is great, and they are organized by color!!! Helped me pick a color faster! The guy wasn't perfect, but he was friendly and asked what I wanted along the way. The lady doing my manicure didn't give me a perfect paint job, but it still looks really nice. The atmosphere was friendly. The music was low but audible which was perfect for being able to talk to the friend that came with me! The prices were good, and they had a good selection of different price levels to fit any budget! Cute little salon, friendly staff, and an overall good experience! read more

Everytime I visit it is an experience not just a nail shop. The entire staff knows me by name. TK is amazing and her quality always amazes me. The appointment process is easy and the point system is excellent. They offer discounts for students. My heart is always joyous when I arrive and enhanced when I leave. Love this nail salon . The staff are kind and ask questions to make sure you're happy with their service. The salon was clean and well ventilated. Lots of nail colors to choose from . Wendy took care of my pedicure and manicure. I'm super happy with her. She also took care of removing my dip nails that I'd gotten for my daughter's wedding; she was very careful. Kevin did phenomenal on my nails! I love love LOVE the way they turned out. He was so funny and attentive and made small talk with not only me, but my friend who was seated next to me. He really listened to what I wanted and even though I decided on a color change last minute, he was so accommodating and I very highly recommend this place to everyone I know. I had a powder French manicure and a pedicure with toes painted red. The service was absolutely perfect. They provided great conversation and were super friendly throughout the entire visit. I also had my eyebrows done at the time and that was flawless as well. I paid about$70-80 for everything because the owner was super kind to tell me about a student discount that takes 10% off if you bring your ID! Will definitely come here again. read more

I had a pedicure by Ava and NexGen nails by Paul today. The service was exceptional! My nails are perfectly done, I'm very picky and I can honestly say that Paul gave me a perfect set! He genuinely listened and I couldn't be happier. Ava always does my pedicures, I followed her to this salon. Which says it all! Relaxing spa experience every time. Went to go get a pedicure yesterday and was so disappointed " Wendy " did a horrible job I did not enjoy it one bit! Almost seemed like she was falling asleep while doing my toes she kept on messing up my toe nails looked horrible almost if my 4 yr old would've done them! Never coming here again. read more

It was over an hour facial and they should have noticed my irritation during the process and could have stopped the facial. I also communicated with them clearly about my skin type and the products I have been using. I have combination/oily skin and my skin is not sensitive at all. I never had any allergic reaction to any skin care products I have bought from Sephora/Spa/Clinic etc in my whole life. I also get facial at different spas once in a while but this never happened before. Now they are telling me to seek professional help as there is not much they can do. I am traumatized looking at my face right now. I could not see a dermatologist on the weekend and still do not know if anyone can squeeze me in next week so my anxiety is crazy right now.... Also, They don't even offer me any post facial cream to help with the irritation. No offer to issue a full refund on this traumatized experiences. Sang did my full set of acrylic mood altering color nails and I like them very thick and she did a fantastic job and was very particular about making sure everything was filed down smooth etc. I was impressed with her detail.
