No to this place!! I went in for French gel nails, and they assured me they could do it. During the appointment, I told the technician several times that the lines were too thick and the gel wasn't applied properly. After two hours, my nails looked terrible. They said I'd need to sit for another two hours to fix it, but I didn't have time, so I scheduled another appointment for Sunday. The total cost was $97 without a tip. On Sunday, I switched to a solid color (cat-eye red), but they wanted to charge $25 more! I ended up choosing plain white instead, and they didn't even redo the gel--they used no-chip polish. I've never written a review before, but I feel compelled to after this experience. I was at the salon for over four hours and my service still wasn't completed. I waited more than 30 minutes past my appointment time just to be seated. Despite clearly explaining what I wanted multiple times, it was still done incorrectly. After already being there for four hours, I was left waiting an additional 35 minutes while a brand-new client was taken ahead of me so my nails--originally said to take 15 minutes to fix--could be corrected. The fix ended up taking 45 minutes, and even then, they were unable to do the simple design I requested. I was told I could leave and come back another day to finish the service, which was extremely frustrating after spending an entire day there. I felt ignored throughout the process and received very poor customer service. At the end, when I had voiced that I would appreciate a discount for all that had happened. They had told me that they won't welcome my service requests anymore and that it's been my fault because I wasn't happy with what I got.. completely unprofessional and extremely disappointing. First time visiting Nail Art 1 and have to say I was very disappointed across the board. I came in for a regular manicure (with bare nails) and was there for almost an hour and a half - my technician bumped 3 nails throughout the process and had to redo them when they were near complete. Now that they're dried, they look crinkly and bubbly and messy. Not to be dramatic, but probably the worst manicure I've ever received. I also found the staff to be quite unprofessional. Three employees were sitting in the pedicure stations, all of which were watching something on their phones with volume which I found odd and disruptive. The nail drying station was also littered with leftover takeout food and half drunk smoothie beverages - so gross to look at while waiting for my nails to dry. I was pleased with the price but was disappointed by everything else and will not be returning. DO NOT recommend. read more

The only reason I'm giving Nails Art 1 3 stars is because of the wait. I had an appointment for 6:30 and did not get seated until 7:12. 42 minutes spend waiting. I understand a rush after work, but then don't take anymore appointments! They did a phenomenal job on my nails and the nail art looks great. I have been here twice and both times has it been the worst nail job I've ever gotten. The first time the nail art itself was nice. However, the acrylic nails were NOT put on correctly. They were thick and fell off within ONE week!! The second time I got gel x and it was worse the lady literally was seeing that the nails weren't gluing properly and got upset I told her to re-do it. I also asked for a square shape and she gave me coffin! Then I asked for numbers on my nails and asked if they could do that design and they lied about it bc in the end they couldn't deliver. I was charged $80 for a pos job. Not to mention that bc she didn't install my nails correctly and water and dirt could get between my nails I got an Infection of only wearing them ONE WEEK!!! I called to get my dip nails done and was told by Trish she could take me at 4:30 I arrived at 4:10pm and was greeted right away. Now here's where it goes down hill. My dip powder was removed right away by another lady in the shop cool no worries now it's time for my nails to be done and Trish tells me she's running behind could I let someone else do them well I guess so since I now have the polish removed and I really need them done.The lady who took over has done my nails in the past I should have said no since I didn't like the way she did them before but I always believe in second chances. Boy was I wrong I left with my natural long nails looking like ten different people had worked on each nail. I should have stated I was there 2 weeks prior and Trish had given me a coffin shape and now I had every shape you could think of. My nails are long and she really did a saw job on them they only fix is to cut them off and start again The dip powder is lumpy on some nails you see where there's to much powder and it wasn't applied even. just a hot mess. . I used to love going here since I'm a manager at Target made this a really convenient place to go but lately it's been off lack luster pedicures to really bad dip manicures and being pushed off to accommodate the Karen's well I'm done. This Karen has had enough I wish you guys the best but today was the finally straw!!!!! Trish, the owner of the salon, is one of the most talented nail artists I've ever seen! Trish and her staff are all professional and meticulous with their work. I wish I had more photos from my previous dip/nail art manicures with Trish, but trust me I have never been unhappy with the result. If you find a cute idea on Pinterest, she can basically do exactly what you want/or even better. She has great taste! I'm a newer customer at this place, the one I had been going to for many years ( and absolutely loved) closed suddenly so I had been looking for a new nail salon in the neighborhood. They do a great pedi & I decided to try out the powder dip manicure rather than my usual no-chip, which also looked great. When I can back 2 weeks later ... for additional services mind you, they charged me $10 to remove the powder-dip. I said, you just gave me this manicure 2 weeks ago. It's not like you're removing some other salons work. That I would understand. But not here... apparently the only way to avoid the ridiculous additional charge is if you get the same type mani. I decided to give my nails a break and do regular polish this visit. When I asked for further clarification, I was told even if you went from powder to no -chip, or vice Versa... or either of these to just a regular manicure, it's a $10 removal fee. Completely Ridiculous Not once have other salons charged me for removal if I had that service at their salon. Very disappointing. It's too bad because as other people have commented, the technicians do a really nice job but I'm turned off by having an additional $10 fee on top of what's already an expensive service. It makes me want to explore other salons. Perhaps if enough people let them know they don't agree with this policy, they'll change it. read more

She didn't do a lot of cuticle clean up but that's okay because she seriously took her time to file, buff, and shape my nails. I've gotten almond nails at other places and it's never right. So disappointed.... I've waited over a year to get my nails done and I cannot wait to get them off after less than 24 hours. HORRIBLE service. Made an appointment for a no chip manicure -- took an hour an a half to do a regular gel manicure which is one of the longest i have ever had. A little ridiculous but the girl did a decent job so it was fine. 3 days later two of the nails chipped (on a no chip gel manicure) I messaged the salon on Instagram and explained the situation and they said come in any time before 8 pm on Friday. I went in a little after 7 and was refused to get my nails fixed and told I would have to wait until 9 pm and "maybe" they would help me. I showed the message I received on Instagram and showed it was NEVER stated that I needed to come at a certain time or make an appointment to get the two nails fixed. I was told to come back tomorrow. Between the 90 minute basic gel manicure, chipped no-chip and the horrible customer service I am never coming back to this place and will highly recommend anyone to NEVER go here. read more

I have been here a few times and really tried to like them based on others' reviews. I will not be returning after my last failed visit. I made an appointment at 1pm for two pedis and two dips with removal. My sister and I waited about 20 minutes to be seated at a pedicure chair. This was ok though. The lady that did my pedi was very professional and if I could personally review her I would give her 5-stars. I was done with my pedicure within 25 minutes though and then I stayed in the chair for an about 45mins to an hour without being offered a water or anyone letting me know how much longer I would need to wait. I went to check how my sister was doing and her nail tech had not even started dipping her nails and she had already been there quite a while. One of the nail techs then told me he was ready but by this point I was just ready to get out of here and go to another salon. That's exactly what I did! Will not be returning here ever again.
