I have been in the salon when customers have been rude and demanding to staff. The staff has always handled themselves professionally and try to resolve any issue. I have given this spa more than a few visits to try and find a technician that can give me a decent main/pedi. All terrible! This past week, during a horrible manicure, the technician was watching a soap opera on her phone while doing my nails (you can't make it up). No cuticle softener, no hot towel and I had to remind her to apply lotion. The pedicure was just as bad. She threw the hot towel over my legs and onto my pants (which made them wet), walked away and I had to say something aloud to get her to return and remove the now-cold towel. I also had to ask her to dry my wet legs and feet. The polish came off my nails in less than 2 days. I'm finished giving this place a chance to redeem itself. It just becomes worse and worse. I am beside myself with the attitude and unprofessional attitude of the children that "work" here. My wife is so upset with how she was treated by the girls that work at this joke of a business. She barely ever gets the time to get her nails done and when she finally does block out some time they treat her beyond poorly. Today, my mom had a pedicure. The service was absolutely horrible. And the photo shows the final outcome. After I dropped my mom off at home- I went back to the salon to speak to a manager. It was the technician who did the pedicure. She asked, "What happened?" I told her that I took the photo when we left. Her response, "What do you want me to do about it?" My 2nd time here. Both times horrible. Asked for a pedicure bc I had a long day and need a nice foot a leg rub. I got the extra $35 package. I should have "gotten a sugar scrub to exfoliate dead skin" and "lotion massage" in their words. Well the older woman rubbed both on my feet and legs and quickly rinsed. She hardly touched my legs, even during the actual pedicure. I wasn't sure what she was doing. My 7 year old niece could have given me a better lotion massage and sugar scrub. I complain and he said "next time ask for a man to do it. And said the chair was the massage part. WTF not happy with this place. I will continue to give this place a bad review everyday. I've come in for pedicures and absolutely enjoyed my experience. They exfoliated my legs, used parafin wax, hot rocks, warm towels, and overall the experience was just really relaxing. The reason I can't give 5 stars is because I got a French manicure with gel polish, and the woman working on my nails copped an attitude with me when I accidentally messed up the polish. Instead of being understanding of my mistake, she stands up, makes a big fuss and says "He's going to have to finish your nails for you. She also hadn't cut my cuticles before applying acrylic, she didn't ask what shape I wanted my nails, she was really rough even after I told her she was hurting me, and just overall unpleasant anytime I tried to speak to her. They gain a star back because two men came back and finished mine and my friends nails and worked with us to fix errors in our nails. Though, this still isn't that clean a set of nails. i absolutely love this place. so let me just tell you, i'm from bluffton , born and raised, and have tried almost all the nail places around town. if you're new to the area or just looking for a new place to get your nails done, i recommend this spot. i mostly get just my toes done but they are great. i'm a bartender so i'm always on my feet. this is the place to come to. they have a room where they massage your feet and they use the black stones. 1000% recommend. i've gotten my nails done a couple times here and they always execute. you also get a discount for your birthday week ;) read more

I've never had such bad quality service and nails in my life for such a high price. Today my mother and I and my siblings went in for 2 full sets and 4 pedicures and we got awful service. My nail tech put a broken fake nail on my finger and I told her it was broken and her response was it's fine. I showed her the picture and length of what I wanted and did not get that she cut my nails to short and cut the left shorter than the right so then had to cut the right shorter to match the left. All of my nails are uneven and the polish is messy. She did not cut my real nail or clean under neath or cut my cuticles. Then we had to pay $220 for a bad job. read more

Worst experience EVER!!! My daughter (age 20) and I went for mani/pedis...SO bad. My daughter's dip manicure is still all over her fingers and each nail is a different shape. The dip is uneven and lumpy. My pedicure was HORRID...the technician (an older male) barely filed my toenails, completely unfinished the job, but tried to massage my feet and legs endlessly...even trying to massage behind my knees even though I was saying NO THANK YOU!!! We had an awesome experience, I took my mom with me to have a girls day and it was perfect! There is a girl there named Ruth that did an awesome job! I did the dipping powder and she was gentle and made sure it was done right. No nicks or cuts! I'm definitely seeing her again when I can. My mom and I also got Pedicures, ask for Afina and Kat! Both were very sweet, professional and polite; they did a wonderful job! Very gentle with their tools and made sure what we asked for was right. They charged me $70 for acrylic nails that within 5 days started lifting. Not one or two but 6! I went back and the woman tried to tell me that I needed a full and I said loudly I can show you my receipt that shows I got my nails done 5 days ago so she "fixed" the nails and two days later they're lifted again ! Not only that, I told her that my pointer finger nail was crooked and asked her to fix it and she implied it wasn't the nail but my finger. This was my first time In the salon. I just walked in and was seated. I got a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. The acrylic nails look ok I guess. The male technician did a good job. He was also very polite. I noticed another customer received a Coke with her visit. So I was like Oh they serve drinks here ? My technician never offered. Then was escorted to another technician to do my pedicure. Pedicure was okay, the technician didn't really scrub my feet too well. It was a very soft scrub and soft massage. Again, a customer sat down next to me... and was immediately given champagne. She didn't ask, it was just automatically given to her. So this made me feel weird because my technician again.. never offered. Not sure why others are getting special service. Then I was weirded out that I was escorted to the back to lay down. Nap for 10 min the technician said. I closed my eyes but heard Radio music and the other technicians were talking and it's not very private . I was really hoping for this same chair, but with quiet and maybe relaxing spa sounds. Anyway, the technician surprised me with another very soft massage on the feet and some hot rocks. It was a dry massage , she used lotion but I really wish they would massage without the latex gloves. It burned my legs! When I was ready to pay at the front counter I noticed there was different pedicure prices. I was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted. The technician just automatically decided for me. I also didn't get any polish on my nails to make them natural. But the technician decided on her own to add gel clear coat instead of the normal without asking . And was charged extra for that. Overall, I paid $70 . And spent two hours in there. I thought that was high. Looking at my toe nails closely the technician didn't do a very good job. By far the worst nail salon I have ever been !! From the moment I walked in until I decided to leave. After 5 minutes until I was acknowledge I was seated for a pedicure. With the water turned on, the lady walked away and forgot to turn the water off until it overflowed. Finally she arrived and started to work on my feet, but when I asked for frenchtip she did not bother to do my cuticals or remove my old nail polish and started to paint over it. I was confused as to what she was doing so in my attempt to tell her what I wanted she ignored everything and continued to paint my nail. I had to ask her to stop and she got up and still charged me, when I asked her what she was charging me for she didn't do anything on my feet beside soaking them in water that over flowed, rub lotion, and paint over my left toes not even getting to my right feet . Have given this place a few tries because it's close to my home- not anymore. I called the day before and made an appointment for a fill-in & pedicure, with specifically a WOMAN pedicurist (ps I'm a woman but using an anonymous name to post this review). During my appointment, a woman started my pedicure and then halfway through she walked off and a man came from the back and finished the pedicure which was really irritating as I don't like men touching my feet and had specifically asked for a woman. The lady had originally repaired 2 cracked toe nails with acrylic, and apparently didn't let the guy know this, as he proceeded to chip it off completely, and only realized it was done intentionally after he took it off. So had to go back and re do all of that. Then he kept sneezing directly into his hands and then touching my feet !!!!!! After this went on for several minutes he finally got up and blew his nose, I watched to see if he would wash his hands since he was right next to the sink and he didn't. Just came back with his hands all over my feet and legs. He also was not wearing gloves, when i noticed all the other pedicurists around me were in fact wearing gloves. When he finished the gel polish, it was blotchy and clumpy looking. When i mentioned this he didn't understand what i was saying so obviously a serious communication barrier. This same guy did a gel manicure of mine a few months ago and it ended up the same- I actually had to come back in and get the color taken off completely because it had bubbles and clumps. Also- the whole time I was getting the pedicure, several other nail techs were sitting around doing nothing, while they could have started on my fill-in, instead I would have had to sit and wait through both when the time could have been cut in half. We have visited this place twice. The second time was truly because we thought we must have had an off experience, but unfortunately, this place truly was awful. The girls not related to the owner are so sweet and kind but lack experience and the pedicures were just awful. The nail polish was on our skin and gloppy near the cuticle. They have a tier system for the pedicures but I can't seem to see much difference and don't think even the lowest tier is worth the price. Also, the front area is not staffed and it's a true pleasure to scream what you're interested in back to the girls who are working with someone else. I know many salons do this, but some of the older ladies in there are not particularly good at customer service. I've seen people praise the free soda.... well, there is that, but take my advice - it's a far better bargain to bring your own drink and go to a better run facility! read more

I told the technician an older gentleman that I had a callous. He barely scrub it and said all gone. It's still there. After he painted my toes I said they didn't look good so he tried to paint my big toes again and they look just as bad as the first time. I paid and left. I will have to go get them painted elsewhere. The worst part is that there were several other nail techs around and knew I was displeased and didn't alert the owner.
