I'm surprised this nail salon is still open. My experience with the owner/manager was very disappointing. When I asked a simple question about the service, instead of explaining, he responded in a rude and unprofessional manner. He raised his voice and spoke down to me in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. The owner is a nasty individual with no regard for customers. He started screaming at me in front of everyone in the store about the type of pedicure I had scheduled. If my nails had not been wrapped I would have walking out. His staff that did not have customers headed to the back room and the customers all stared. Issues with manager. I feel pity for him. Reading reviews on Google shows several instances of negative feedback because of him. He's fine taking your money for services rendered, but misstep his order and he'll tell you to leave. There are an abundance of nail salons and I choose to take my business elsewhere. If I could give this place 0 stars I would the manager or owner whoever he is gave me the worst service ever after the nail tech did a horrible job on my nails which is sad because he was very sweet but he did file my actual nails like crazy where I was in pain and missing parts of my Nails now . that you can see on the pictures. The manager after I was very nice and asked for a discount because my nails were all crooked. None of them were straight and it was a horrible job. I wish I took a picture before, but the manager offered to fix them and straighten them up, but once he saw that they couldn't be straightened, he offered that he could redo them after he only offered me a 15$ discount and I wasn't happy with that and that's when he offered that he could redo them. After he had me soaking them off and was giving me a lecture about how I need to speak up so this doesn't happen again and basically blaming me when I couldn't tell how bad it was until after the tech was done with my nails. After they soaked off and he got to see how badly my nails were filed down and didn't believe me that my nails were filed this badly in the nail salon because my nails are long and we're not like this before. He gave me so much attitude and was being extremely petty and rude. He tried to say that I was causing commotion when I was never causing commotion I just wanted my nails fixed and that was it. I wasn't angry. I was very calm until he tried to put the blame on me. Don't come here the service is horrible from the manager. I have been a customer at H'Allure since it opened. We are snowbirds in Bluffton and I am here from November through April. When I made my pedicure appointment in November I was told my regular tech,Kim, was no longer there and a woman named Jo did my pedi. She seemed rushed but results were just OK. A month later I returned to Jo and was very disappointed as a few toes actually hurt after the appointment. Foolishly I returned a few days ago and received Andy as my nail tech. When beginning my pedi he clipped my nails but never filed them smooth. There are actually sharp bits snagging on my socks and inside of my shoes. He never applied cuticle remover or pushed back my cuticles. I had one slightly ingrown toenail which he did address but it still feels the same. OUCH! When applying polish he used no base coat. He then went outside to use his phone telling me he would be back to apply the top coat in a minute. Twenty minutes later I asked another employee to get him in to finish my pedi as I had another appointment. When he returned I asked him to finish my pedi with the top coat and he told me he had already done that. NOT! I will not be returning and would never refer anyone there. Also I noticed all the pedicure chairs had timers at each station. Take that for what it's worth. I felt rushed, received unprofessional treatment and will be looking for a new salon. read more

I went to get my powder dip removed from my nails. The technician I had did a horrible job. I still have remnants on my nails and a horrible job in filing my nails. In addition one of my nails actually bled through. I will not be going back to this place. read more

I came in for wax and the gentleman at the front desk told me to ask what they were going to charge me. When I walked into the room and saw the prices on the wall, I thought it was OK. Apparently it's not, like he said you need to ask and yes, you need to ask because when I went to pay my bill, it was a just a few dollars more. I told him the price on wall was different than what I was being charged. He said, I told you to ask them what the price would be so he called the gal and apparently she had to do a little extra on my chin - reason for the extra. I've had my chin waxed numerous times and in my experience, she did exactly what everybody else has done. When I questioned the bill, the man reminded me that he had told me to ask. Like any salon, you return for the nail tech. I've been here 3x now and seen 4ppl. If you have the patience and money to blow on a mediocre job then it may take a while. The salon is nicely decorated but I've had a cringeworthy manicure. One was so bad she called in someone else to fix it and that new person did the whole thing. Something that really rubbed me the wrong way was someone's unwarranted nasty attitude AND nosey inquiries. And she's really talented too. I was their customer for 4 years and never missed an appointment that I didn't call about. I recently had to switch an appointment day but neglected to put the rescheduled appointment in my calendar. When the owner called me to remind me that I was late for my new appointment, I apologized and said I couldn't keep it. He hung up on me! I went to the salon about a week later to clear the air. I asked him if we could talk and he kept me waiting for 15 minutes. When I asked if we could speak privately he told me he is too busy to talk with me and I have to LEAVE the salon. What? Me and my husband have been going here on our vacation every June towards the end of our vacation week for the past 10 years. It seems they are under new management. The gentleman that is running it seems ok but liked the lady that ran it before. Well me and my husband always get pedicures. Unfortunately, it seems it has gone down hill. Typically our pedicures would last about 45 minutes or longer. This time it was maybe 30 minutes but still charged the same. My husband had ingrown toe nails and they did not take care of like they did in the past. It definitely was very rushed. I don't recall them having timers in the past. They definitely don't give the time to give a really good pedicure. Needless to say I will be looking for another place to go next year. read more

Made my first trip here for a pedicure. It's a busy place. I walked in and they couldn't take me for about an hour. I hung around in the shopping area and took care of some errands, so it worked out. I treated myself to the 'deluxe' pedicure which included a massage and hot towel wrap. I was very happy with my nail technician and will return. I have been going to Allure nails for about 2 years. Loved the staff and my experience every single time. The management changed in January and the new owner has no idea how to run a business nor does he have any idea on how to book and schedule clients. I have witnessed several mismanaged scheduled appointments and have personally been affected by one myself. This place was fairly good. It was a little dirty, but they got me right in for a manicure. I asked to have my gel polish removed and said I wanted to try the dip gel. I guess I needed to be a little more specific, because they did not soak my hands, trim the cuticles, or do that mini-massage I'm used to at my other place. But my nails are gorgeous and I love the dip method. I made an appointment for a pedicure tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. read more

It is with sadness that I post this review. I had been going to H'Allure for a year and was very happy with Kim and her sister Le. I tip well, and I have always been on time. This week I set up appointments for a visiting friend and myself and called to say we would be (literally) 3-4 minutes late for our appointments. The man who runs the desk told us he had to cancel our appointment. I could understand it if we were going to be 10 or more minutes late, but 3-4 minutes? Really? Pro: seems sanitary, 10% discount if paying cash. Updated: the customer service seems to get worse and so are the pedicures. I've been left with cuticles and when I told them how I needed an actual message as stated and not just the lotion applied on my legs I was told by the front person how they get a lot of elderly and they have to go soft just to ask the technician for more form and that they didn't provide a deep tissue. I understand about not having a deep tissue message, BUT this is not my first rodeo or pedi in my life and have been getting them in different t parts of the country, but getting lotion applied is NOT a message either and what's worse not removing the dead skin around the nail/cuticle is not a pedicure either. The only good thing about this place is that seems to be sanitary. I will be looking for another pedicure salon. Oh and the nail polish gets applied worse and worse each time I go. read more

This place just get worse and worse every time I get my nails done. I only go here as a last resort and even then it bad. They do not have good quality products or service. I got my nails done on Wednesday and by Friday I had a tip pop off I didn't even know it was gone. Then Sunday I had another pop off. I have been coming here for years to Linda who does a great job but today is my last time. I called to make an appt two days ago asked for 11am for a mani and pedi was told had to be here at 10:45. I arrived at 10:40 and had to wait until 10;55 for Linda to finish with amother client! While soaking in pedi chair a new tech is cutting nails of the woman next to me and they are flying on me and woman on the other side. He thinks this is funny but is so gross I almost left. Also there is a sign that advises if you're late for your appt. they will not wait for you! The new owner has no idea how to run a business so will find a new place to take my business. read more

My daughter went in today to get a fill. They told her a 30 minute wait however it turned into almost a 2 hour wait. Then they started taking off her set that they just put in 2 weeks ago. She told them again, I need a fill not a new set. They ignored her and put on a new set. Another woman said don't worry they messed up but I'll give you a discount. She charged my daughter $51. How sad that they took advantage of a teenager. If they don't know what a fill is then they shouldn't be doing nails. I LOVED MY NAILS. All I wanted was an affordable french gel manicure. $35 for french gels was a deal! The guy who did my nails was friendly and I could understand his english well. I was impressed. I was so pleased! My sister was getting married & had her nails done elsewhere. She liked mine better so she went to Allure and had hers re-done. I would definitely go here again in a heartbeat. It was crazy busy on a Thursday morning so be aware of that during peak vacation season. I came here for a brow wax after searching desperately for a place with reasonable prices. I was SUPER impressed! The salon is nicely decorated, very clean, and all the staff members were smiling. It was quite busy but I only had to wait about 5 minutes. My technician did a beautiful job and created an excellent shape and arch. It only cost $10! I tacked on a hefty tip. Their wall of polish colors was massive - seemed like a million choices. I also noticed that the salon manager let a customer know before her manicure that the polish she was interested in was considerably more expensive than the others, and he explained why. I appreciated the fact he was helping her make an informed choice rather than just pushing an expensive product.
