Nail Tech - Lee removed the nail gel I had and gave me a short natural cut. - Nail Salons Near Me - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

My husband and I have been going to Nail Tech for about five months now. We recently moved to Hilton Head and I tried a nail salon. It was convenient and ok. One of one of our neighbors recommended Nail Tech and it was the place for us. We called and left a message to schedule an appointment for my husband. Helen called us right back and said they had a cancelation and Kim could do a pedicure and manicure. I dropped him off and when I picked him up from his appointment, he was smiling. He said that his mani, pedi had been delightedful and cost the same he had paid in Texas. The next week I went to have my nails done. Bobby, the person doing my nails, had a lot to live up to. My previous nail tech had been doing my nails for a long time and he was great. Bobby did a fantastic job and was so easy to talk with. My husband and I feel so lucky to have found Nail Tech. This family run business is clean, friendly, and welcoming. Their prices are reasonable and they take their time to do quality work. They have a GREAT, ESTABLISHED clientele. Probably, one of the best traits about this salon and the nail techs who work there is the appreciation they show for their customers. They thank us for our loyalty and the compliments we give them. Nail Tech is a truly wonderful Nail Salon. Just remember to make an appointment. They are busy because they are GOOD! read more

Fast and friendly service! I was able to get my pedicure done quickly and the staff were friendly and talkative.

Because of so many excellent reviews here, I decided to try this place. I called for an appointment but no one picked up, so since I was driving nearby, I decided to stop over and see if they had any availability. I parked, rode over in my power wheelchair with my service dog, opened the door, and asked if they had any availability that day. Both the owner and his female colleague shook their heads vigorously, and said they were all booked up for the day, sorry no openings. I understand they are busy- I was hoping for an appointment that day, but that's fine, so I left. Just as the door was closing behind me, I received a phone call back from them, returning the call I had just made. I was told on the phone - while still en route to my car in their parking lot - to come in an hour and they would be happy to take me. Now, having JUST been turned away at the door, with nobody coming after me to say they had room after all, I thought that was very strange. After all, they just told me they were fully booked for the day. I came back at the requested time. Again, in my power chair and assisted by my service dog, I was directed to a woman who spoke not a word of English. The owner eventually came over to me and said that they had had a cancellation - yeah right - obviously realizing I was the same person they had called back after having turned me away at the door. He also complemented me on my well-behaved dog (duh, he's a SERVICE dog!) and hung around to chat for a few minutes). Bottom line: The services were nothing special, as opposed to the five star reviews here. And they clearly engage in discriminatory practices in refusing service to me as a disabled person with a service dog. So no, I do not recommend this business at all, and I will never be back. read more

Bob did a wonderful job on my pedicure. Very personable. The shop is conveniently located on Matthews Drive. Highly recommended!

After visiting several nail salons on HHI, looking for a quality mani/pedi, I finally found one! John did a great job and listened to my specific requests. I was told this is where more "locals" go. They are busy so recommend making an appointment well in advance. I asked if they change out and sanitize their tools and John said definitely. It's the law. He said each nail tech has 2-3 sets. read more

What an amazing gel pedicure and Ana manicure. My daughter and I are traveling to HH and found this salon on yelp. We called a few of the other salons and they were so rude, they basically told us they were "busy" and hung up. This salon was so nice to us and took us right away. Amazing service and nails! From the moment I walked in I was greeted the manager and requested that I wash my hands. I sat down and he asked me if I'm wanting shellac and he gave me the nail colors to choose from. He was very nice and kept updating me of how much longer I had to wait. I didn't have an appointment but he made sure I didn't have to wait long. I must have waited at least 5 minutes and then I was greeted by Trounf who was pleasant. Truong was very professional and very gentle with my hands. I was relaxed and almost fell asleep. I would recommend this place. read more

Great attention to detail, reasonable prices. Really enjoyed both the pedicure and gel mani. Highly recommend!!

Note: address is incorrect. Correct address is 2 Mathews Ct, although that address would not pull up on google maps. Put in the name "Nail Tech" to get directions. Very kind people. Did a good job on my nails. read more

I visited this salon in September 2020 because of the great reviews I read in regards to their Covid practices and it was better than I expected. I love the way each chair is separated by shower curtains, all the nail technicians wear a mask, and how they don't allow the front of the business to be crowded by customers. There wasn't anything there to complain about, I felt completely safe! And, to top things off, my pedicure looked great and lasted a long time!! I wish I had written down my technicians name but, sadly, I did not. If you are looking for a great nail salon that clearly cares about the safety of their customers and staff, visit Nail Tech, you will NOT be disappointed!! read more

You cannot go wrong at Nail Tech! Everyone does a fantastic job and are super nice and kind. I highly recommend them. I have been going there for approximately 10 years. read more

I have been going to Nail Tech for over 15 years and am always happy. As a matter of fact about 4 years ago my big bad Marine let me talk him into a pedicure. He was hooked. We were both looking a bit ragged after being in quarantine because of the Coronavirus. Not only do we look and feel better, I'm not sure there is a salon around taking social distancing to the letter! If you want a salon not taking the virus and our safety more seriously, find another place. You MUST wear a mask. If you don't have one, they will sell you one. You must wash your hands immediately. There are shower curtains surrounding each pedicure station. Plexiglass keeps you a safe distance for a manicure. As a matter of fact the salon was on the news as a model for all nail salons. We really love the owners and employees of this business. read more
