if I could give this place zero stars I would. The lady who checked me in was very nice as well as the lady doing my pedicure, but the man who was doing my manicure was very rude while getting my toes done. I kept getting my toes cut on the drill. I told them how one of my fingers was crooked and asked if they could fix it and he said no, and I asked if they could reshape it. He also said no to that three of my nails have already popped up and I haven't even had my nails on for three hours. This place sucks. Do not go here. read more

I had to go for solid colors because tech was not experienced enough to do what I wanted. My nails are so horrendously curved, I had asked him to not make them curved, but Tony, still proceeded to. I have never left a review for a business but I felt like this one needed one- Did a walk in, guy in the front said he would take me. Should've known it was gonna be a bad experience when a new customer walked in the door, the guy cut me off and brushed me off to the side. This is important because before the new customer walked in the door I was attempting to explain what I wanted... He sits me down in the front and not even 5 minutes goes by he is getting up greeting other customers, taking phone calls, etc. I was just getting tips on my nails and the 'hailey Bieber nails' no design nothing... I was there for almost 2 hours since the guy was getting up every 5 seconds. He probably got up close to 20 times. I was trying to be relaxed and chill but towards the end I started getting annoyed because when he was suppose to be shaping my nails he got up like 4 times and now none wee like shaped the same. I also noticed that he didn't really smooth out the dip polish, it was getting clumpy and I thought he would fix at the end but he didn't... He was just trying to get me out as soon as possible to get the next client in. Then it looked like he was neatly finished and he goes this is what you wanted right and I go no I wanted the chrome. He seemed annoyed and got the chrome from a lady near by. He seemed frustrated as he started doing it but I was trying to explain what I wanted in the beginning and it sounded like he either didn't care or was too distracted by other clients... he put the chrome on and pulled out the gel lamp and when my last hand was under it he aggressively pulled it away. Then put oil on and told me to wash my hands and started preparing for the next customer. It really sucks because I feel if actually paid attention to me as a client and wasn't focused on everyone else he prob would've gotten my nails right and would've done a good job at that (or at least I hope so.. just seems like he had no attention to detail)... anyways my nails were $58.. I paid and left a $20. I wish the salon well & that $20 tip will be my parting gift bc I will NEVER go back and I will highly recommend my friends, family and associates do not go either. read more

A New Nail Salon for Bluffton. Conveniently located near the Tanger 2 outlets... next to Marshalls and Bed Bath and Beyond. Intro special of 20% off which I always love a special. Victoria is the owners daughter. She is adorable and now we are friends!!! Hannah did my pedicure, I was happy. Harry did my SNS powder dip. They coordinate polish colors with powder colors and I love that. I'm a matchy matchy girl, so that was right up my alley. The place is very clean. Prices are comparable to other salons. I'll be back for sure!!! I loved how they did each service separately and I did soak off my previous SNS nails while the pedicure was being done. My husband had a special pedicure and he fell asleep, that's always a good sign of a relaxing time for him. He also had a manicure and he was very happy with the services!!! read more

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. On the first day, one nail popped right off when i was in the shower. It's been 4 days and my middle nail is lifting and hurts horribly. Not to mention, the shaping is very off and not symmetrical. I came in for a fill and doesn't even seem like it. In the salon I asked for a simple design and said it'd be around $70 and they couldn't do it. Don't waste your money or your time here. Cheaply made nails not worth $50 + tip. If i could give this no stars I would. UPDATE: hours after posting my review, another nail popped off with ease in the shower (wasn't doing anything to be harsh on the nail) AND the other middle finger started to lift. these are more like cheap press ons. My parents were walk in customers while visiting Hilton Head for their wedding anniversary. While on the phone with them I heard them let the lady know what services they wanted to get. The lady very rudely said "We don't have time for you". As out of town guest and really as customers it is necessary to speak to people in a respectful manner. I came here with my mother to get our nails done before summer vacation. We both got dip manicure and a regular pedicure. They had a variety of colors to choose from, however, I felt very rushed. I bought a 30 minute pedicure and it only lasted for maybe half that. And the dip manicure I had on before wasn't really fully removed when they added the new coat.... maybe it was because we scheduled an appointment for later in the day and they were wanting to go home, but we were still paying customers. My first yelp review and i just had to find a way to let people know how bad this place is. If you are a regular, you probably are ok but if your a walkin like myself once in awhile then please watch out for older lady that comes out of the back to do your mani and pedi. this has happened before to me. She is not friendly and appears not to speak any English and has some sort of memory deficit. she cut my large toe so bad she could not stop the bleeding. I told her to stop but did not understand and continued. I gave her a $50 bill which i saw her later put in a drawer at one of nail stations. I kept trying to tell her that my toe needed care, but she acted like she did not understand. Two guys (i assumed were her sons) were talking in their language back and forth to her. I was disgusted and got my things to leave and the two guys started yelling that i had not paid (in front of everyone). I explained about the $50 bill and the women pulled the fifty out of her wallet. It came to $46 so i gave another dollar bill and one of the guys said "only $5 tip". Finally found a great nail salon! I've tried lots of others but it was always hit or miss according to the technician , day of the week or over priced. With all due respect I never had my nails done here. I was excited they were open sundays. I booked an appointment, I sat at the front for 30 minutes after my appointment time. Never greeted. Clients taken after me who arrived after me. They need a better system. I saw people writing their name down like a doctors office, but there was no sign. So must be assumed by regulars. read more

I started with having the same accolades and praises the other reviewers had, only to be seriously disappointed today. During my first visit, I had a regular manicure that was done with great care and that lasted almost two weeks! Everyone was friendly and the environment was spotless and comfortable. Fast forward. My next visit I opted for a gel pedicure and a regular manicure. I made an appointment as I knew this place gbusy. Upon arrival, I was directed to be seated at one of the pedicure stations. I sat there for 20 minutes soaking my feet until my treatment started. At that time, I wasn't upset, as I had no other engagements. During my service, I reiterated to the lady that I was also getting a manicure. I didn't understand why this wasn't done first, as my fingernails could have been completely dried once my pedicure was completed. TIME saving!!! After two hours, I left the salon. The owner provided me with a coupon for a future visit acknowledging my wait time even though I hadn't complained. A very nice gesture indeed. Two days after, I noticed two of my toe nails had no polish. The gel had peeled off apparently. I called immediately to get a repair job and made an appointment. I had absolutely no desire to make the drive back to the salon on a Sunday but I was leaving town for a funeral the next day. Upon arriving, I waited in the seating area. The original pedicurist examined my toes and said something to the effect that on one foot there was no nail to even have polish. Knowing she put polish on it, I said nothing and was directed to be seated in a chair. I waited, but was confused as every staff person was busy with a customer. The woman who was to fix my toe nails was working on a pedicure. Then I saw her escort her customer to start a manicure. In the meantime, they were still accepting walk ins, saying "sure, have a seat, we will be with you shortly." After 15 minutes, I said enough and walked out. Good grief, what are appointments for when they are not honored???? This salon recently opened, and apparently they are seeking quantity over quality. Shame on you. I thought I found my new place but not after this. Oh and by the way, my manicure is already chipping, and it's only been four days. I even put an extra top coat when I got home. Update: yes Jennifer I appreciate your response about your practice of serving customers but it still didn't explain why you would take reservations and then have customers wait for so long. Putting that aside, you did not address the quality of service I received. Two days after my gel pedicure, two of my toe nails lost their polish, and after 4 days my manicured fingernails were already chipped. Paying $61 plus a $15 tip, I feel it was an inferior service. Do not waste your money here. I was very close to the previous owners (jack and Jen), they sent me in to see how it's going and they ruined my nails. Took 3 hours for just a fill. And refused to give me the discount. They're rude and laugh in your face about your personal business. I have cancer and I've never been treated so poorly. I will never again go there. They make their prices more expensive, than how they were when Jack owned the salon. Save your money. Go else where. The manager cussed me out in front of everyone and threaten to call the cops because I refused to tip. The place is disgusting and they're all rude. I've been getting my nails done by Jack for 3 years and I'm completely disappointed by them. Save your money and go elsewhere. The technician did not cut my nails evenly and when I said something the answer was "your service does not include that". She never put lotion on my legs or feet, another upgrade!!!
