Being new in town the location looked foreign to me, something new. Once inside they immediately asked what was needed. As I requested a mani pedi the pointed me to the wall of polishes. Good quality brands and colors. Of course I chose pink for my toes with a name of a place called Pink Polish. They started on my hands which is my preferred so I don't mess up the polish. Than another person did my toes. Very nice clean and pleasant place. I even meet a fellow South Floridian who's been coming here for years. I definitely found my new nail place. I've been here several times and every time I'm serviced by someone who is extremely friendly and attentive. I also love how many colors they have, the health and safety precautions they're taking due to COVID-19 and how talented the nail techs are. When my mom moved down to SC five years ago they weren't doing the dip powder, but after speaking with the nail techs at my mom's old salon, they learned how to do it and it's now the most popular service. Last time I was there I opted for the chrome powder, which is something I haven't been able to find elsewhere. I highly recommend making an appointment so you can be seen when you walk in. Just an FYI for those ladies who go to Pink Polish by Ashley Furniture. I usually have Queenie who is the best but I needed to change my appointment and said I would take anyone. I was told to sit with Raymond (the former owner) and he REFUSED to do my nails. Absolutely refused. WHY????? Queenie of course came running over (I have been a customer of hers for more than 4 years) and said I could wait for someone else. I got up and told her that his behavior was ridiculously rude and that she would not be seeing me again. There are plenty of nail salons around. Four years of more than $100/2 weeks and he refuses to do my nails!!! AND made me feel ridiculous in front of all the other customers. Please BEWARE!! read more

I went in first thing in the morning but I was informed they were understaffed and booked but could make an appointment for later that day or come back at 1030 when it was slower! I came back at 1030 and was sat right away! Quennti did an outstanding job on my pedicure - literally the best I've had in a LONG time!! Massage was nice & long AND she got my ingrown nails out without pain! It was awesome! Casey came over and started working on my gel manicure & she did such a great job! I can only do a French tip and they are literally perfect! Highly recommend if you're looking for great care, great customer service, and quick service! I was in and out within an hour and a half! I went to Pink Polish on July 17th to get my nails and toes done for my trip to New York. The guy at the front was polite enough, but I notice when he and the guy with all the tattoo was discussing who would take care of me. I don't speak mandarin, but from his body language and facial expression, I could tell he didn't want to take care of me. I should also mention, I was the only person of color in the salon at that time. I have this feeling that my experience was not going to be a pleasant one. He started my procedure and all the while he was working he was holding a conversation with the worker next to me. I watch the care and attentiveness shown to the other customer by their worker, but I was not given the same by the guy working on me. There was two other person in chairs before me and he was finished with me before the other two people. He did not file my heel, nor did he massaged my leg. He put a hot towel on my legs for all of 15 second. After the pedicure, which was bad one, we proceeded to get my nails done. He put the tips on and there was a problem with one not sticking, so I told him to just take it off and put another on, well that didn't sit well with him. He finally got it on and I was looking at it to make sure it was on correct and that's when he got mad and asked if I wanted my nails done or not. I told him that I'm paying my money, so if I want to check my nails, I have the right to do so. He then said he was not going to do my nails and proceeded to get up and leave, I asked him if he was going to finish my nails and he said no. At that point I got up and left. He followed me out the door threatening to call the police if I didn't pay for the pedicure. I told him that I was not paying for it. I told him if he didn't want to to service me, I would have been more than happy to wait for someone else. I felt I was not given the same service as the other clients. I personally will never go back there, and I will advise everyone that I know not to go there. Maybe it was just that guy with the tattoos was having a bad day, but I suffered for it. If you have a business, treat everyone the same, because you never know ho is sitting in that chair. read more

I am new to the area and have done my nails at this business a handful of times(5). I had always had good experiences when going there until I asked for a French manicure in addition to the French pedicure I normally got. I had a lot of stress& saw it as a good way to relax. The man who did my nails was very helpful and nice, but the manicure immediately started to peel off very easily the next day, Sunday. They were closed, so I waited until Monday to return, at which point more of my polish had peeled off w/out me doing hardly anything!! I scratched my eye brow one time, and the polish peeled right off. The manager was rude, aggressive, and unnaccomodating. It was terrible!! He treated me as if were someone walking in off the street asking for FREE service, when they were just correcting the poor job they did. I regret giving them business and will not be back!! The cultural norms carried on by the manager are very rough, and rude despite the situation being caused by THEIR BAD JOB. I'm only giving 2 stars because they are nice I'm there. This was my second time going to the shop. First experience was fantastic. Best pedicure I've had in a long time. This time I went it was horrible. I got a basic gel manicure and pedicure. Pedicure itself was ugh but the paint job was horrible. Whatever. On to the manicure. Even worse! The paint job is horrible along with my nails being filed super short and weird shapes. My cuticles are all cut up and scraped from being filed . I should of had them fix them but I wasn't trying to wait around for another hour. Last time I'll be going there. Super bummed. Waste of 70$ that's for sure read more

I have been going there for over 10 years. The techs were all really good with my nails and pedicures. I've not been happy with my last 4 visits. The owner is very nice but.....there is so much turnover with new Techs!! For being a very long time customer ...why do I keep getting new techs or the worst new ones. I'm very unhappy about today's experience and several other times in the last 6-8 months. I've as always to back hoping I could get the best pedicures and nails! My nails on my hands and feet all have sharp edges and my nails look like I had them done a week or more! The prices keep to up and no discounts for paying cash. I paid $7 more than I have in the past there? Unfortunately I had to give a smaller tip then I've always given. Unfortunately I only receive SSDI which not much.... I am never one to do this but I really just feel befuddled here. Today I went in for a pedicure and it was the worst of my life. My feet are in so much pain and the sides of my big toes were bleeding mid-pedicure from how deep they dug on the sides. The technician didn't even care that they were bleeding nor thought to adjust her practice for the other toe. I literally got my pedicure today and my toes are already in so much pain this evening. This is going to be a living nightmare as they begin to grow back causing infections in the side crevices as it already hurts to put pressure on my toes. I have never asked for a refund in my life on a service and I still didn't today but the damage was done and i'm just really aggravated going to have to deal with these painful nails for the next month. I'm happy to talk with management, but it was really a bad experience. read more

I will never go back to this place. The person who did my nails was not the least bit friendly, and she hurt me while trimming my cuticles. She also removed my gel polish by filing, even though I expressed a dislike for that approach. If you let them file your gel polish off every time you have manicure, you'd have no nail bed left! Absolute worst pedicure I have ever had and paid 50 dollars for it. Basic pedicure and white French tip with regular polish. The tips are uneven some are almost covering my whole nail and one is slanted on the big toe. I wore flip flops home waited till they were completely dry and the 9 minute drive home the big toe chipped. I was going to get a new set but there's no way when they can't do a simple French tip pedicure. The people were super nice so that wasn't a issue it is just quality of service. read more
