I was a walk in for my wedding to get a pedicure and an acrylic fill. My pedicure was good. But my nail fill is where this place earned 5 stars! Sky was an amazing tech. He took every opportunity to explain to me the steps and made sure my nails were perfect! Thank you so much read more

Walked in on a Saturday night and was seated right away. Pedicure came out cute and they took their time with my full set. They paid attention to detail. A buck forty seven for nails, toes, and eyebrows felt a bit steep, also not quite coffin shaped so I deducted one star. Otherwise great experience. read more

Sky did an amazing job! I just moved to the island a month ago and I had a bad experience at a different salon and wanted to check this place out! Sky did wonderful job and fixed my botched acrylic nails! They look and feel amazing. He was great with all of his detail work, and also educating me on proper nail care! Disgusting!! I figured because of reviews and location it would be a fairly decent place. I walked in and didn't think much of the place.. not particularly nice but didn't seem too bad. I wanted my eyebrows done and was taken past a curtain to the wax room.. thats when it went downhill. The room consisted of the wax bed that had a TOWEL on top to lay on... all the products were sitting on the window sill uncovered. You could see hair remains on the floor and the uncovered garbage cane with wax sticks and balls on hair. I have never walked out of a place but was truly disgusted at the state of the room and couldnt trust them to wax my eyebrows.. nevermind dig into my nails read more

This has become my favorite nail salon when visiting Hilton Head. The owner is so super friendly. He is warm on the phone and happy to assist. I had the best pedicure imaginable. The pedicure was fantastic, helped with the issues I was having and my feet/nails looked amazing. She took her time and great care. The dip was the same. I hadn't had anyone so gentle and who did a terrific job. My cuticles were not sore or irritable. All is all Happy Nails will leave you feeling happy with your nails and the whole experience! read more

I've been getting mani and pedis for 30 years. This was one of the best. This beats fancy spas by far!! The foot massage was so perfect and he took his time ! They were not rushed and we so focused ON ME! I will be back when I'm back on the island. Thank you! Very clean and very very kind people. My fav !!! read more

Overall, very pleased with this experience. My nails look great and the girls in the salon were very friendly. The facility is not the most elegant but it is comfortable and economical. My daughter messed up her nail on the way to the car and they repaired it with a smile. read more

Vanessa was excellent! I got a basic mani and gel pedi. She was pleasant and thorough. I highly recommend her!

My daughters and I got gel pedicures. We're all happy. The salon was super clean and every staff member we encountered -- especially the young man in charge -- was very nice. We were all offered a choice of a soda or water to enjoy while sitting in the pedicure chairs. A friend had gone to the salon earlier in the week and was also impressed. The shop can be hard to find. It's in a corner of a strip of shops adjacent to the Publix parking lot. Very hard to see due to the trees covering the sign. If we come back to HHI we'd go to this salon again. read more

I was recommended this nail salon by a work friend. I went in there right before New Years Eve and again yesterday. Both times I had a lady sitting at chair 4 who is obviously new to doing nails. She is obviously not ready or capable yet to be doing nails on clients. She needs a lot more training before she is allowed to charge people. Both times I left hating my nails and was pretty upset. Yesterday, I got a full set of gel nails and I was there for an hour and half which normally takes barely 1 hour. She spent 45 minutes just filing my nails to the point where my fingers are now raw and irritated. My nails are bumpy and crooked. The owners did ask me at both appointments if I liked them or not, but this was right in front of the nail tech who I did not want to embarrass, so I said they were fine. Especially yesterday because I had been there so long and just wanted to leave at that point. I will not be returning after 2 bad experiences. read more

I came here during a vacation because I didn't have time for my pedicure before I left, and what a treat! This place gave a wonderful pedicure, I could go on and on about the exfoliation and the massage, so relaxing. Oh, and they for us in at the end of the day (Mother's Day!) so, most importantly, I must give a 5 star for the service, they were so accommodating and super professional. I would highly recommend this nail salon read more

I would not recommend this nail salon. I normally am not super picky when it comes to nail services, but this experience was not the most pleasant. I called ahead and they told me to come in at 11 and I got there around 10:50 and waited for around 30 minutes and got a manicure that felt very rushed. Color options and services were also very limited. I went with 2 other people and one was done before me and the other even started. The whole experience took about 1.5 hours, however our manicures only lasted about 15 minutes. My nails also don't look much better than they did before I went. read more

I can honestly say this was the best pedicure I have gotten in a long time! I wish I knew my nail lady's name, because she did such a great job with my friend and I. She really paid attention to detail when it came to my cuticles and even under my toenails. Most times I am not one for massages, because some people just don't do it justice, but this was also the best and longest massage I've gotten while getting a pedicure! It felt so good and I was amazed how relaxed it made me feel- it's almost as if I'd been getting pedicures wrong my whole life! The whole place looked very nice and clean and if I return to this area I will definitely go back! read more

Have had my nails done in the best salons by the best techs in many different states and this one is tops on my list. Got so many compliments and my acrylics look beautiful and natural. Staff is professional, friendly; spa is serene and spotlessly clean. read more

I was a "walk in" and only waited about 15 minutes. The salon is very close to the Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort where we were staying. I am very particular about my nails and they understood exactly what I wanted! My husband came in for a pedi and we both left knowing that we would be back on our next trip to Hilton Head. The only reason I and giving them four instead of five stars is that a regular customer came in while I was getting my nails done, and even though I was told the nail tech would do my pedi, she told me that her "appointment" was there and she would have to turn me over to someone else. I understand taking care of your regular customers but please do not make it so evident to a new customer. I was very aware that she was a walk in. But that said we were very satisfied with the $ and the service. read more

Love this place! Amazing customer service! The new owners are great! Jackie is my fav for gel manicures!

My wife and I were looking for a place to do our anniversary pedicures together. I looked on Yelp and found a few places and we decided on Happy Nails. We couldn't be happier!!! The place is so clean, every single person is so nice, and we were literally sitting hear talking about how well trained they seems to be, so I thought I should just share our experience. I don't think I'll have to "look" for a place next year, I'm pretty sure we found our place. read more

My mom and I came here on vacation to get our nails done. We ended up having to come back the next morning but Sky, the new owner, was very apologetic and very kind. My fiancé and I stopped in at 645 to get 2 pedis (they were nice enough to stay open for us even though they closed at 7). At first we were worried that since we came in so close to closing time they would rush us out of there. It was 120% the best pedicures we've ever had. Not only did they work out the knots and stiff bones (they worked on our feet/calves for over an hour) but they were SO unbelievably nice + funny and talked to us the whole time. We've gone to a few places on the island and nobody compares. We're repeat customers now! Couldn't recommend anymore read more
