He was very careful but he also worked quickly, I'm super happy with how they came out. I got a balance and manicure with regular polish plus a whole new acrylic nail for $28. I went to Loveable Nails and was very disappointed with the experience. I walked in and was barely noticed, because the manicurist was so busy on her phone I felt like I was an inconvenience. She never talked to me unless I asked a question. She talked to another employee in her native language. If service companies want customers, they need to act like they appreciate the customer. There are many nails salons and I will chose a different one next time. They also charged $35 for a pedicure for a man, same as a women's even though men don't get polish put on. Put your phones away and in your spare time clean up the stations. read more

I walked into this place and was not greeted, but was eventually asked what service I wanted from the one nail person that was on the floor working- so I told her I was looking to get a pedi. Another woman emerged from the back and motioned me to a chair. I handed her my color and she sat on her phone scrolling through Facebook while I sat and waited for the water to fill the bath. I asked her what types of pedicures they offered, and I thought she didn't hear me until she shouted to a young child at the front of the store to bring me a menu of items. I chose the $35 basic pedi and she basically said "that's what I thought." She didn't speak to me the whole service, and was done in under 12 minutes. Found a great nail salon today! Eric took time and really did a great job on my nails. Lan did a very nice pedicure. The COVID protocols are followed closely. I really appreciate the plexi-glass between the customer and the one doing the manicure. I had a gel mani pedi. I will definitely go back! Very unhappy with my trip to loveable nails. I went with 3 friends and made a reservation bc all other reviews were great. Well, we got there at 1130 and didn't get done until 145 pm. There were only 3 people working and they new 4 of us were coming in. Instead of waiting on us first, they kept taking walking so only two worked for four people getting manicures and pedicures. She messed up my gel French and had to completely re do it making our wait 30 minutes longer. When she re did it, it's is very un even. The owners, Eric and Lan are fabulous! I have been going here for years and have never had any problems, in fact, I have never had more compliments on my nails since I've been going to them. Eric had us scheduled right away at Lovable, which impressed us. Our experience was the perfect way to start off a vacation: relaxing and beautifying! I live & get pedicures in Seattle and have lived in a number of other major cities across the U.S., but Eric gave me one of the best pedicures I have ever received. I highly recommend this place. I am sorry to leave this review, since the first time I visited this salon for a mani/pedi my experience was outstanding. The young lady gave me one of the best mani/pedi I had gotten in quite a while and this was the reason I called and made another appointment. I asked for the same young lady and since I did not have her name I described her to the gentleman who booked the appointment. When I arrived I did not get the same young lady...and because they were very busy there was not a good opportunity to ask to switch. The service was done in record time..in fact the young lady who did my mani/pedi left the salon before my polish was dry. Once I got home one of my toes began to hurt. I could not find a reason however upon a closer look I found that callouses on the ends of my toes had not been removed. I found that person in Lan at Lovable Nails. Lan does a beautiful job every single time. The only reason I withheld 1 star is that they have some issues with punctuality. I've been getting my nails done since I was 15 and I've been to many technicians in that time, but Eric and Lan are really the absolute best. I've been going to them for the last several years and they both do the best job on Hilton Head. In response to the negative comments I've seen people make about walk-ins and such, I've been there enough times to testify that what I've typically seen happen is women walking in alone or in groups and wanting so much done in a short period of time that common sense would dictate that the smart thing to do would have been to call ahead.
