I'm not a Spa person. I'm not a massage person. I told my wife the night before that I don't like having someone I don't know touching my body. I know that sounds weird. My daughter bought my wife and I a couples masssage gift certificate. We decided to get massages with different masseuses at the same time. Hannah came out for my wife who said to take me first. We went to the room where everything was explained. We had 60 minute therapeutic massages. The massage table had sheets and blankets, but was also heated. I wasn't sure if I wanted light, medium or heavy and told Hannah to do her best which she did. I realized after the wonderful white noise and background sounds that I need to do this on a regular basis. Hannah also mentioned that my tension was high and should do this to help relax and de-stress. She was absolutely right. After the massage was over, you get a bottle of water and told to continue to hydrate. Very soothing, very relaxing and mainly--- very professional. read more

I've been here a couple times now for a massage. I have left both times completely satisfied with the massages. Seriously, they were two of the best I've ever had. I did deep tissue both times, once for 60min and once for 90mim. The massage therapists asked me questions and the massages addressed the issues I was having. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and kind. The waiting area is quiet, relaxing, and smells nice. The entire place is always very clean. Diane was the massage therapist I saw this past time and she took the time to listen about my problem areas and recent activities as to why the areas were flared. The facility was very calming and comfortable....as spas should be. The tranquil environment lent itself well to getting your mind and body relaxed before any therapeutic treatment. Finding the right fit though, must include choosing the most appropriate therapist for your needs. I sampled several, and all were good at their craft but Niasia was a standout. Though it was our first time together, she made my experience top notch. She listened to my concerns and trouble spots (which number quite a few) and not only did she remember everything, she worked each area until she got her desired result. As Niasia moved to different areas of my body, she made it a point to ask how the pressure was at each location. To me, this is an integral part of my therapy experience as I can handle a range of pressure depending on the body part. This focused customization was perfect for me. I knew Niasia was exceptional at her craft, because within thirty minutes, my neck and shoulders literally melted as the tightness and nagging discomfort disappeared. I have been depending on this type of therapy for years, so it made me ecstatic that my last session with Niasia fell into the category of "best all time massages". As a first time client I was unfortunately not impressed with my massage experience at this establishment. The "Spa" portion of my visit was non-existent. I had a 90 minute massage, oil was not used during the entire massage, what was used was some sort of balm that did not feel pleasant when applied. It was also hard to rinse off in the shower and my skin still felt coated with it afterwards. No hot towels were used, a serious miss in my opinion. Usually there is one rolled for my neck and two draped over both feet. My therapist seemed almost annoyed during the entire massage, just going through the motions. She never checked in on the amount of pressure being applied, but did make a point to call out a mark I had on my body, basically embarrassing me right in the middle of the massage. She did have an appointment directly ahead of mine that I saw checking out so perhaps the therapist was tired and should of had a break. After getting dressed I was basically pushed out to the front door, therapist standing right next to the receptionist in the entryway handing me a water and telling me I should check out the other therapists. Apparently she doesn't need or want to retain any new clients. That was a first having someone tell me to take my business to someone else directly after my service. And I was a new customer!!! For a $130 massage at a "spa" this experience was a complete disappointment and felt very impersonal. If my experience was positive I would of added three new clients for this business. I will not visit this establishment again. read more

Went to Inner Peace Massage for the first time today. I was greeted warmly immediately upon entering, completed a short intake form and was then taken in for my deep tissue massage with Chantel. The atmosphere of the spa is warm, welcoming and induces relaxation. Chantel did an amazing job working out my lower back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain. She was friendly and professional. After my massage ended I was provided with a robe and slippers to move to my next appointment...an Eminence facial with Katie. Katie was warm, friendly and professional as well. We discussed my skin, my needs and she proceeded accordingly. The products are amazing and it was the first time I've left a facial without my face being bright red from overuse of steam or harsh products that don't work for my skin type...sensitive and Rosacea. I had my first prenatal massage today with Liana. She was fantastic! I was extremely nervous going in as I have significant scoliosis that has made past massages very uncomfortable. Also, being pregnant, laying on my stomach isn't ideal. Liana set me up on my side with pregnancy pillows and was so accommodating to my scoliosis. I'm very talkative so it was nice having someone who knew exactly when to talk to me without making me feel like I wasn't getting a relaxing massage. She was so friendly and funny. Her training in prenatal massage and neuromuscular therapy made for an incredibly relaxing and wonderful massage. I loved the lotion she used, and it was so nice to know she saw I had a nut allergy and avoided any creams with nut oil in them. I would 100% recommend her to anyone, and working for years as a chiropractic assistant, I can say I've ran into my fair share of people who claim to be well-trained and aren't.
