I haven't gotten my nails done in awhile because the nail tech would always cut me and would never make my vision come to life. I found this spot and was surprised with how fast and kind the workers were. Recovering from a major surgery, the main lady working on my nails was very helpful. She took care of me and did an amazing job on my nails. I liked how she told me that certain colors would look the same and made other suggestions close to the colors I wanted. Updating this review since I was really disappointed today. I called ahead and made an appointment and waited 30 minutes and left because they were so busy and I didn't want to wait any longer. I've been to many salons and this rarely happens and it has already happened to me twice at this location. Even if they could seat me, I feel like they would have tried to rush the job. During my first visit, they did a good job and I was really happy. They did take a while to seat me even though I had an appointment but I saw the good reviews and decided to wait. By the end of the job she did, she forgot to put top coat onto two nails because she was in such a rush and I had to remind her. She was nice about it, but I thought it was important to note. The salon is small and the smell of chemicals is really strong here as well. There's usually only 2 techs working and I come in on weekdays and they always seem really busy despite the weekday hours and me calling ahead. I don't know if I'd come back anymore but it's no doubt that the women here are talented! read more

I was going to this place many times before but the last time the service was too bad. I was already sitting doing acrylic gel when I was asked to move to the other lady who continued working on my nails. After a few minutes, a lady comes into the shop saying she is in a hurry. The lady that was working on my nails asked her to follow her into a room and only came back out 20 minutes after. When I said it is not ok to move me from one to the other and then keep me waiting with my nails half done she said that she only left to wash her hands. I said it is better to apologize than to lie. I was there from 5:30 to 7:20 for acrylic gel. they did not mind my time and I will not be going back! One more thing - the prices that are on the wall are not what they charge at the end. Add 10% to it. read more

This is a smaller salon but I love how welcoming the staff is, I've been here 2 times and always leave the salon with great results. I've always gotten a gel manicure and pedicure so far, they might have a limited array of gel nail colors if you're used to a bigger salon. But otherwise, this place has become my go-to for gel manicures. read more

Was looking for a place to do my nails for the holidays, and I'm so happy I randomly stumbled upon this salon. Its truly a hidden gem! First, I showed a picture of the nails I wanted, and Jenny did an excellent job at following the picture to the T; from the nail shape to the color. Although they did not have the exact nail polish color as the one in the picture, she was still very patient with making sure I was happy with the color I ended up with. One side note: I booked an appointment for 12pm, but did not get seated till 12:30 because they were still working on other clients. Nevertheless, my nail technician was really nice about it, and apologized for the wait. Anyway, I absolutely adore the way my nails turned out, so it was well worth the wait. I would also highly recommend bringing cash! I tried paying with card but was told they prefer cash, so I had to run to the atm. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my nails. I frequent this nail salon for a few reasons - the ladies are all really nice, plus my acrylics usually never chip or break even after 3 weeks. Prices are pretty average for the area, a new set costs me 60-70 before tip. They take walk ins but I usually make an appointment the day before to avoid waiting for too long. Theyre pretty busy after 3pm and on weekends so call ahead to get an appointment. read more

I needed a nail salon that was close to my work that could squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon and Nails 2000 was able to accommodate me. The salon is tucked away in a small shopping center near the Cupertino post office and when you call to make an appointment the woman on the phone wants to make sure you don't get confused with the other nail salon that is in the plaza in front of them. The shop itself is one of the smaller ones I've seen (3 stations for manicures and I believe 4 for pedicures). They have a small wall with a display that shows the different nail colors you can choose from and will ask you to choose prior to getting your service started. I had the pleasure of being served by Tina who did my gel mani and gel pedi. She was thorough and gentle and did a great job making my nails look clean and even at the end of appointment. The cost was reasonable considering the area and if I'm in need of a nail service close to my office, I'd definitely come back here. read more

So I've become quite the nail salon hopper. Guilty as charged! But, I ended up at Nails 2000 with good reason. They are open late on Saturday. I made an appointment the same day, and they were happy to take me. I poured through the many colors and decided on a blue chrome shade. While the woman who did it was fairly meticulous (many layers, base, base, glitter, base), somehow the chrome on two nails chipped within a week. She also did a solid job on my cuticles so I really can't hold this against them. They also offer awesome design options for pretty decent prices ($5 for two nails). Apparently you can check out the instagram for the ideas. This is right in Cupertino almost going up the hill. Super convenient. They do a good job. Lots of design options. First and last time here!!!!! My appointment being at 2:30 pm they were still working on other clients when I arrived so I didn't get help til 20 minutes later. The nail tech who helped me her name was Vee she was very passive aggressive when I was deciding on my nails expecting me to pick what I wanted fast so I settled with French tip and the price over the phone was 45$ then she asked if I wanted V shaped or regular French tip I said v shaped then I asked if she could change it because I didn't like how it looked just beginning of starting to add the white tip and just told me she couldn't and should've said something sooner only beginning to start mind you not after she finished and she overcharged me 58$ because apparently the v shaped was supposed to be a nail design???? I didn't appreciate her rudeness and I'm warning anyone not to come here. read more

The ladies did a great job with filing my nails to the shape I love. They also did a great job with painting and not getting the paint on my cuticles. I wasn't a big fan of the gel nail color selection, they only had two wheels to show me and didn't have what I normally get. They were able to mix a white and sheer pink to get the color I wanted, but I did end up repainting my pedicure with my own polish that matched the nails better. Ended up loving the result, but to pay this much money I would prefer to have it be perfect when I walk out. I think this is a great option especially if they carry the color you want! Gel nail polish is only the gellish brand. Overall I am very happy with my nails. I hope they carry more colors in the future! $20 pedicure, $30 gel manicure. Easy parking. read more

Amazing nail art! I gave her reference pictures and both look exactly like the photo. A lot of nail salons are not very reliable but this one always is! I recommend making an appointment especially on weekends. If you are looking to get something simple or have time early in the day, they do accept walk in's. Used to visit this salon regularly, but lately the quality of the service is been going downhill. I always call to make appointments, but now they overbook too many people and the last couple of times, I had to wait about half an hour. Waiting would be alright for the right and good quality service, but this is not the case anymore. Since many people are waiting, they rush to have everything to be done and spend very little time with the customers. Sorry to say, but will be looking for another nail salon. read more

OH MY GODD!! i love this place, especially Nick. i try to go whenever i can. i always get a french acrylic tip and a pedicure. they are very clean and nice. they offer free mini water bottles. also the pedicure chairs work perfectly. i love this place and nothing will ever compare to it. read more

I ended up getting a really nice French tip manicure and white gel pedicure. The lady that was taking care of my manicure was very professional. Her name is Anna and she did a really great job with the French tip. I didn't expect her to paint the French tip because I'm so used to seeing nail salons use a French tip press but I found it very impressive that she was painting them on my nails instead. Anyways, great service, beautiful quality, and I would highly recommend if you would like to get some wedding nails done... I initially loved my appointments here with the nail technician Jane that I bought their membership twice. How their membership works is it's a prepaid that allows you to get a small discount off each service. I did the $500 membership tier once and was happy with my experience so I bought a second $500 membership in order to get 10% off each service. However, when I bought into my second membership, I noticed I started getting different treatment than the other customers. This salon caters to native mainland China speakers & although I am Chinese, it's very apparent I am American born Chinese. I don't speak fluent Mandarin but I understand Mandarin well and I can converse with simple phrases. However, there were a few things that happened to me that made me think I was treated differently than the other Chinese clients. The owner would repeatedly schedule my appointments with all her technicians going through training (this happened to me at least 3 times). During appointments when she was monitoring her employees, she would hit her vape in front of me. And there was a specific instance in which I caught her criticizing the pale yellow nail color I had chosen in Mandarin because she thought I didn't understand what she was saying (she told the nail technician in training that the color I had chosen was ugly and she advised the technician to build close relationships with her clients so they can take her color recommendations, otherwise people will see her work and think she did a poor job simply because I chose an "ugly" color). I think the cherry on top was when I went in for the last time today, I had a $50 balance in my membership. My nails were supposed to cost $75 but the technician told me that because I didn't have enough balance in my membership to cover my entire service, I wouldn't get the 10% discount and they would be charging me additional $10 for gel removal because the gel removal is complimentary only for members. My technician was apologetic but stated it was the owner's policy. But what's the purpose in buying the membership if you're not going to get the discount? I think I'm just deeply disappointed in my experience because I've always been a good customer who tipped all the technicians well, and showed up to all my appointments on time. I've gotten some really cute nail sets done here (I'll add some pics) but the treatment I've gotten has completed ruined the experience for me. Just be aware if you're coming here as a non-native Chinese speaker- they won't treat you or value your business the same.

When I asked if the scrub and other parts of the Jelly Pedicure would be done, I was told, "Don't worry, we'll do it." At checkout, I was surprised to be charged $95 instead of the quoted $85, and no one clearly explained the additional charge. After paying and leaving a tip, I ended up spending $100 for what felt like a very basic pedicure. The biggest disappointment wasn't just the price--it was the lack of transparency and the attitude. I expected the full Jelly Pedicure that was advertised and clear communication about the cost. Instead, I left feeling overcharged and dissatisfied. I hope the salon improves its communication with customers and clearly explains pricing and what's included before beginning a service. If you ask for breakdown at the start of the service of what is included part of the basic pricing and you see them talking among themselves in non-english and giving you a wierd look.. that is first sign for you to leave...
