My friend and I originally scheduled an appointment for just a pedicure, but because it was my first time, we decided to go all out with a manicure too after we finished our pedicures. Mai was very attentive and made sure to double check that the color was exactly what my friend wanted, and when my friend wasn't sure whether or not she wanted another coat or a different color on top of her first layer, Mai let her test it out to see whether or not she liked it first. I didn't catch the name of the person who did my nails, but she seemed to know what she was doing, and she made sure to be gentle. When I saw the tools they used, I'm not gonna lie, I freaked out because it looked like I was gonna go under toe surgery or something but it didn't hurt one bi All the workers are really nice and make friendly conversation with you. Gel manicure was $25 and the pedicure was $22. Would definitely come again! read more

I want to give this place a 0/5. Please don't waste your money here. Save the $45 and go somewhere worth while. This is one of the worst manicures I have honestly ever had. I know I can do better than this. Wow. They should be ashamed to have a client with nails like this. They're very nice but... wow. Just stay away. read more

I have used Blue Sky nails for about 4-5 times now. I have had the pink and white and manicures. I have to say, they are very nice girls! I had an appointment and I asked if they would take me in at 9:30AM (even though they open at 10:00AM) I believe it was the owner that said no problem and she took me in! Also this is the only nail place that I have gone to where I can make an appointment and they will actually be on time about it. Where as other places I have gone too, will make me wait for another 10-15 minutes after my appt. read more

Newly remodeled! You should check out the fancy spa pedicure chairs with massaging back rests ($22). Opt for acrylic/ crystal gels on your toes instead of polish for color that lasts for weeks! It's the new thing! (Additional $30, ask for Tina). The two tone crystal is the best ($40 set, $30 fill). They have new colors and different types of glitter. Ask for Ann. She's quick, yet efficient. I would suggest going early in the week before 3 P.M. when it's not busy. She'll definitely make you feel pampered. If she asks you if you want a design, say "yes!" I always trust her to do whatever she wants and she always comes up with cute designs on the spot. ($5 two fingers, or a deal on all ten fingers). This last time, she pressed a real flower into my acrylic! I've been coming here since 2008. The sets don't lift and they last for a long time. Call ahead or make an appointment so that when you get there, you're a priority if there is a wait. I recommend this place to anyone looking for the best crystal gel sets for your hands or toes. read more

I made an appointment on Monday before I came for 2 people to get crystal gels. I also asked for 2 specific people - Anh and KIm. Cindy - the person taking my appointment down- did not mention anything about Anh taking vacation. I get to the salon at my appointment time. The nail techs all stare at us as we enter. I tell them about my appointment and they have it wrong. We asked for 2 full set crystal gels and yet they put one full set and 1 fill plus pedicure. Totally wrong! Okay- i ask for samples, they tell me they have some and ignore us. We waited half an hour before they started on my friend. Kim ended up working on both of our nails and tell us that Anh is on vacation. Thanks for the heads up Cindy! Condition of salon- 2 stars- no AC, hot, equipment is semi clean, nice chairs, bathroom has dim light only Customer Service- 2 stars Designs- 4 stars (a lot of samples) Crystal tip colors- 3 stars- lot of glitter tips, no seashells, or marble I had the gel applied to my natural nails- she filed it but still left it pokey. The plus was she was able to make it thin, like my natural nail. Attention to detail- 3 stars. Communication- 2 stars- nice but sometimes I could barely understand what she was saying. LAME SAUCE!!!! Unethical, gossipy - all the stereotypical things people say about nail shops and are afraid of is TRUE HERE. They put on such a front and right in front of your face are mean/rude/2 faced. Being Vietnamese I can usually tell when I step into a nail shop how the experience will go and majority of the time the people will ask if I'm Vietnamese or sometimes I will offer that I am to start conversation or what not. Something held me back this time and as our time there progressed I understood why. We brought these people a substantial amount of business this past weekend with a bridal party of 8 women getting pedis and manis. They made fun of my friends weight, another friends hairstyle, and so on. Again, right in front of your face in another language while smiling sweetly at you. It was a collective group effort - when one would make joke, they would all giggle and keep the banter going. Not COOL. The bride and my friends were all in good spirits and having fun so I made the decision not to say anything until we got to the car. After I did tell the bride she went back to pay her sisters and moms portion just out of principle. We didn't tell her sisters, because they would have been devastated. I hope she left NO TIP. I'm mad that I left one. I don't give a damn how well or pretty you do nails. The business ethics are completely unjustifiable and treating your costumers like that are WRONG. Is that worth the extra few dollars your saving? Not good people. read more

I have always been picky with where I get my nails done, because I've had so many salons mess them up. Upon finding this place on Yelp, I was a bit skeptical, as I saw that people either really loved it or had their eh's about it. However, I did notice that many of the lower reviews were set back a few years ago and that the newer reviews were positive. Things must have taken a turn for the better :). So I decided to give it a try today with gel tips, and I must say, I have never been more pleased with my nails! They're gorgeous and you can tell that much effort was put into perfecting them. I requested for Anh to do my nails because so many ladies on Yelp have praised her for her work. And I do agree with them all. She was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable and unrushed. She asked for details about how I wanted my nails to look like, a sign of a perfectionist, and I was very pleased with the overall outcome. And honestly, I believe that the quality far surpasses its price. I got such a great deal here. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Brought my mom here to get manicures for our upcoming family portraits and a party. While my mom and I usually, like 99% of the time, go with red nail polish they did not have the color red that my mom wanted (for a shellac manicure). We decided to go with the French manicure. My manicure started right away while my mom had to wait for her person to finish with another customer. She then just proceeded to rush through doing my mom's nails to finish in time with mine. That bothered us both quite a bit. Especially since we had made appts and not just walked in. Our manicures last about two weeks (much longer than the one I had previously gotten with red polish) and they looked pretty dang good. read more

I get my feet done once a month. I tried this place yesterday and it was the most painful pedicure I have ever gotten. She used some scraping device with a razor blade vs the typical scrub or bar they use to take off calluses. I left with dry skin still showing and a cut that was still bleeding by the time I left. This morning after working out my feet are the sorest I have ever felt. The staff is friendly but the women doing my feet lacked experience and gave my the worse pedi I have every received! Will not return!! read more

This place is awesome! It's smaller than most nail salons and CLEAN! The girls who work here are very nice. It's basically a family business, and the owner has her cousins working for her. They do a great job on pedicures, and will remove in-grown nails if you have those. Good manicures too. Good work all around. Did I mention that it's CLEAN? I have been going to this place for years. Even when I moved out of town, I'd drive down to get my nails done here. These ladies ALL know me, I am greeted by name every time I walk in and Anh (I think that's how it's spelled) knows what I like and always does everything I ask. Right now, I have Star Wars themed nails and they look beautiful. They are not expensive and when they are not busy, they give me a massage while I wait for my nails to dry. i recommend this place highly! read more

I was a little irritated when I compared the two at the end to show how different the colors were. This has happened to me before at other places and the manicurists usually brush me off or give me some crazy, made up explanation. To my surprise, they agreed with me and my manicurist buffed away the top layer of my original polish to repaint it. They were very apologetic and offered to fix it if I had further problems. Well - two days later my nails chipped because of all the layers of polish. I made an appt and expected them to fix my two chipped nails. Instead, she redid the whole manicure (at no cost). I didn't feel any resentment or annoyance from their end. I get the impression that they really care about customer satisfaction.

I had one nail with that set that separated after a day and the salon re-did it for free. On Monday this week I had my first mani-pedi here. I had gels for both. One of my toe gels totally came off after a day, and my left thumb polish came off the same afternoon that I had the mani done. Since then, I had the gel on my left hand fixed (so I came back once on Wednesday, then Thursday (yesterday) two nails on the right hand both separated in the same corner. I just had those two nails re-done and asked for the right color, but it's a different color. It's just really strange and disappointing to have to get a mani fixed twice- seems like the prep wasn't great this time around and last time around. I'll be back one more time after this but it may be time for me to find a new salon.
