I have been going to this nail salon for my bi-weekly manicure+pedicure for past several years. Never disappointed. I used to have brittle nails but now my nails are stronger and more healthy. The customer service is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and cheerful. It has a happy vibe. I always felt relaxed and well pampered every time I visited. It's like a mini vacation especially among the hectic days. They are usually busy so I highly recommend making reservation ahead of time. read more

I waited a while to write this review because I was initially very upset, but I think it's important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision when choosing a nail technician. I visited this salon three times. The first two experiences were great -- both technicians did an excellent job, and I was really happy with the results, specially with Phuong (she is great). Unfortunately, my third visit was a completely different story. This time, my nails were done by a technician named "J." Right from the start, she seemed rushed and distracted. She left in the middle of the appointment twice to take phone calls and was not gentle at all -- she ended up hurting my skin multiple times with the drill. The real issue came a few days later when the product on one of my nails split in half, causing intense pain. I had to go to another salon for an emergency removal, where I was told the layers of product applied were far too thin, which is likely why the product failed. After the removal, my natural nails were in terrible shape, and I couldn't use my hands normally due to the pain. It took five full months for my nails to fully recover. I reached out to the business about two weeks after the appointment to share what happened, and instead of expressing concern, they questioned why I was just reaching out now, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. While there are clearly some skilled technicians at this salon, my experience with "J" and the lack of proper customer service afterward were incredibly disappointing. We needed a place to get our toes/ nails done nearby the Marriott courtside Campbell hotel before my grad party. I found this place on Yelp. I decided to give them a shot because it was less than 5 mins from the hotel and they had 5 stars. Wonderful, attentive, sweet, talkative, outgoing staff! They did an amazing job with my niece's nails, sister's nails and toes, and my toes. My sister said it's the best NAIL shop ever! In her opinion, this nail shop in terms of value, is the best one she's ever been to in San Jose and Houston. She said they do an amazing and neat job as well as it's affordable and cheaper compared to other places. For a regular pedicure, it is $25 and gel pedicure is $35. With my gel pedicure it came with a long, relaxing foot and leg massage as well as the hot paraffin. Def worth it the price :) We will def. come back if we are in the area! read more

100%, 5 stars. Sweeties is my go-to for all things nails and I am so appreciative to them for the care they take with my nails and how they ensure that the trim and filing is to my liking. I don't get gel manicures, so I can't speak to that, rather, I get regular manicures and pedicures and they always do a phenomenal job. Also, I notice that the nail polish lasts a long time, which I also appreciate! They do an amazing job, and they are always so helpful and accommodating whenever I schedule for an appointment. Sometimes it's hard to get one, so I recommend you call them at least one to two days in advance, that way, you can get your preferred appointment date/time. Sometimes they would call me back if there's an opening and they know I would prefer it, so I appreciate that too. Once again, Sweeties has been over the top. They took me last minute before Christmas and I received the best customer service. Their manicures last so long and don't chip - I often have manicures that chip at other places. I got my nails done 2.5 weeks ago and aside from naturally being grown out, they have not chipped at all! A real treat. read more

I went in for the first time and it'll be my last. The lady who did my nails cut me in two places and I was bleeding. One of the cuts on my pinky was pretty deep and hurt for a week. I kept saying I was in pain but the lady kept saying OK OK and continued. She finally started saying sorry when I showed the cut and blood to the owner. And then the acrylic on the middle finger came off in about 10 days. I was offered a discount because of the cuts but I regret tipping. The design was good and the owner seemed to care enough to come and tell my nail technician how to do the nails, but I think the person who did my nails was inexperienced. Phuong is super unprofessional and has a lack of customer service. Ive worked in the customer service field for 14 years I'm appalled on how a nail salon manager behaves. Ive never cancelled last minute and have always been respectful. Im assuming she doesn't care for business for her nail techs. I would never like a boss who interferes with my money. Phuong is the one who always answers the phone and when I would request an appointment with her specifically she states Phuong is unavailable because she has a full schedule. Not sure why she speaks in 3rd person. Once I would go in shes just sitting there with no clients and just on her phone telling other customers the same thing. Found a nail salon couple miles down who are terrific and have amazing customer service and thats where my money will go to from now on.
