The care and level of detail that went into my pedicure and fill was amazing. A couple of things: 1. The pedicure was ok but I still have a ton of dryness and some cracks after the lotion has worn off. 2. My gel manicure was done in a way where there was a notable gap between my nail bed and my polish. My mani already looks like there has been a week's worth of growth. Also, you can see in the picture that my nails look a little funky shaped because the polish wasn't taken all the way down. 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]THE MEAN GIRL VIBE - while I was there a woman came in. She had an appointment and had apparently called earlier in the weekend requesting a specific person and that her mani and pedi be done at the same time. She was traveling this evening. Turns out that the person she booked with wasn't even there and they weren't able to do both services at the same time even with other people. They were so rude and didn't even acknowledge that they messed up. They just told her she could go somewhere else.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She was so sweet and apologized to everyone for being so upset. They told her to come back 4 hours later (!!) and the poor woman agreed, even though she said it was very close to her flight time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When she left, they all just started laughing at her and another customer even called her a b*tch. I have been on the lookout for a new nail salon that's close by, does consistent good work and is reasonably priced. Jade Nails comes close to what I'm looking for. My friend sat at the pedicure station and they got started on her pedicure. Since I was only doing a manicure, I sat at the manicure section and one of the workers got started on taking off my old gel polish. After he was finished, he went over to take off my friend's polish and Alyssa got started on my nails. After asking what I wanted in terms of nail shape, color and design - she got started. I liked how Alyssa did the shape of my nails. She left them longer as I requested and filed them in the rounded square shape I liked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, she kept checking in with me to make sure I liked how they were turning out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The color I picked was also pretty - a light lavender color - and then she was able to put a couple of flowers on my nails that came out very cute. Overall, the workers were friendly and efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think they tried their best to accommodate what my friend and I wanted for our nails[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but I think their workmanship needs more experience to become top-notch. While I enjoyed my manicure, the polish wasn't as evenly applied as more experienced nail techs would have done. There were also splotches where the polish was stuck to the side of my nail, which later lifted off easily. It wasn't the worse place I've been to - and given time and experience - I think the workmanship should continue to get better. A full 5 stars because they were friendly, on time with our appts and tried their best to give us what we wanted. I would try this place out again, but maybe after a few months so everyone gets more experience. read more
