The man at the front desk was so friendly and happy. They were able to accommodate me right away as a walk in. The price was reasonable and the technician did a wonderful job! I'll be back soon.

Unfortunately the nail technician was rough cutting my cuticles and made me bleed in the beginning. She said my skin was too dry and my skin was thin? I don't understand, then why not adjust your method. She then charged me $10 for cutting my cuticles. Plus I noticed only after there was a gap between my nail and the tip she glued on, plus her top coat was messy on my thumb. Wasn't a good job. My fullest cost $107. Maybe I need to try another person. If you're wondering why didn't you give her a one star? It's because she did try to accommodate an attempt to create a design I found on tiktok (didn't work out as they don't have gold cat eye).
If you're getting a pedicure, avoid Kelly. I got a refresh gel, so I'm paying 65 dollars for a service that was half ass'd. I'm sorry but I've always came here for my pedis and never have a walked out with my bare callouses showing because the other artists do what I asked for. Not to mention, the 10 min massage was not even a massage, just rubbing the cream.
The nail technician was very thoughtful and kind to my daughter. I decided to choose this place specifically for the hello kitty chair. They also had a variety of hello kitty nail stickers which was super cute. She had a great time- the timing is about 30 minutes for kid mani and pedi, for adults it's about an hour so my daughter had to wait a bit of time For me. Cash tip only!
I will not be coming here any longer. I had a horrible experience today and the last two times I came it was just weird. I gave them benefit of the doubt and kept giving a chance. The shaping is not good and the price was crazy. Normally I pay $55 and today I got charged $95 just for her to do two of my fingers as a French tip. I can do that myself at home for cheaper. I am very disappointed with whoever did my nails the second time I came (Don't know her name but might've been Kim?) but she kept cutting me and also disappointed with Tina today. I specifically requested Tina because last time when I came, she did them super fast. I was literally out in 30 minutes. I came with my friend today and it took way longer and it doesn't even look right. My thumbs are different lengths and my left thumb thumbnail is way too big for my finger and has fallen off. I got them done at 12 PM today and it is currently 7:36 PM. My friend got a gel manicure and seemed to like it but she said it felt rushed too. The previous times I came my nails only lasted two weeks whereas at other salons it lasts 3-4. I'm done being ripped off. The only nice person is the lovely gentleman who seems to own the place and speaks perfect English but unfortunately I am too upset to come back. Whoever did my nails in my first review, which is the first time I ever came is the best but there's no way to book with her on the website according to my receipt it looks like her name might be Ivy?? These were supposed to be my Christmas nails and I'm so upset.

First off, if that mattered to you, they've dropped the 5% cash discount to just 3%, and they don't give out stamps anymore, which was kind of disappointing. Small perks like that make a difference, you know? On the bright side, Tiffany was amazing! I had a hard time narrowing down a color (I mentioned like 5-6 options), but she really took the time to help me find the perfect one. She did a fantastic job with the filing, paint, and cleanup too. Big thumbs up to her and the other lady who did my hand nails! (Sorry she didn't have her name on and with all the other conversations on I couldn't fit in the, oh what's your name).. That said, the overall experience wasn't great. The manager was a bit weird, and the team seemed rushed. She had this strict "teacher face" vibe and made me feel like I was wasting everyone's time for taking a few extra minutes to decide the color for my feet and hands. Sorry, I'll do my "homework" next time, right? It stressed me out and took the fun out of it. Also, the massage they do is so basic--it's really just lotion on your arms. Nothing relaxing about it. Pricing is pretty standard, I mean this is how much it costs in a good-looking nail bar. Again on the bright side, the salon is pretty and well maintained! Parking is easy, loads available in the shopping complex. They seem to stay busy, so definitely call ahead to check availability. At this point, I think it's time for me to try out some new nail bars and see what else is out there. I would have appreciated a warmer and welcoming experience overall, for the time and money put in.
My girl Tina rocked my socks off. I'm always cautious on what salon I book to get my nails done and how they turn out because I am a perfectionist. They turned out better than I could have hoped for. She continued to check in with me if I liked the shape of things and didn't do anything I didn't ask for which was wonderful! The gel polish application is so smooth I can't stop touching them! Big open vibe was nice, lots to look at. Will be back 100% the guy at the reception was so nice! Thank you!
As a parent, this experience at The Valley Nail Bar was extremely disappointing. I took my daughter to this nail salon to get acrylic nails, and at first, we were happy with how they looked. Unfortunately, after about three weeks, the nails started falling off one by one. Some were partially broken and still attached to her natural nails, causing damage and significant pain. The broken acrylics would snag on her hair and clothing, making everyday activities uncomfortable and upsetting for her. Seeing my child in pain over something that was meant to be a fun experience was very frustrating. We went back to the salon to have the nails removed and explained what was happening. Instead of concern or accountability, we were told that acrylic nails are only meant to last about 10 days and that we should have come in for a fill. This was never explained to us at the time of service. When I questioned why this information wasn't shared, the front desk staff said they don't provide it unless customers ask. Considering the high cost of acrylic nails, it's unreasonable to expect parents to pay so much for something that lasts such a short time--especially when it causes pain and damage. The lack of empathy from the front desk staff made the situation even worse. There was no apology or understanding, despite the fact that my daughter was clearly uncomfortable. Because of the poor communication and lack of care for a child's experience, I will not be returning to this salon.

Best nail salon in the South Bay!! I love this place so so much. From the convenient location to the beautiful establishment to the quality work, everything is 5 stars. The nail techs are all very attentive and detail oriented and they listen to the client. They don't miss a single detail. This is my 2nd time coming here and this is my new spot. The prices are also very competitive, the place is super clean, they offer tea and coffee, and they have a huge selection of colors and designs as well as a big menu for pedicures.

I've been coming here for 5 years. Since I was a freshman in high school, I've been getting my nails done with my mom and friends. They are very clean, hygienic, artistic, and professional. I always show inspo photos and they always come out better than I wanted. If I don't like something happening mid process, I always speak up and they immediately fix my sets! All the women are very nice. Definitely on the pricier side but it's worth it considering I never leave the nail salon unhappy. They also provide other services but I've never tried. I've gone to other nail salons but nothing is better than Valley. Highly recommend Maria and Tina. They are the absolute best. Walk ins are always easy unless busy... online bookings are easy, accessible, and useful!

I came here upon the recommendation of a few of my coworker friends. I made an appt online and was greeted promptly when walking through the day. After confirming what services I wanted (gel manicure and Refresh pedicure), I was shown gel colors along the wall to choose from. Feeling like something different today, I opted to get catseye gel polish. After picking my color, my nail technician started my manicure. She asked me what shape I wanted and there was a handy sheet that showed the different shapes - I opted for my regular square with rounded edges. She cut, filed and shaped them - but they weren't exactly the shape I wanted. It was close enough, so I just went with it. My nails turned out okay - the catseye color was pretty and I liked the look of it. The massage was good. However, the shape and application of polish needed some work. Overall - it just felt rushed. I was then shown to my pedicure station and someone else worked on my toes. The pedicure went fine, the colors chosen were pretty and everything went okay. Again, I enjoyed the massage and was able to relax. However, at the end, I was left at the station and my technician walked away. I assumed I was to wait for a while while my nails dried since I got regular polish on my toes. This would have been fine, but my technician never came back to check on my toes or tell me when I could leave. After half an hour, I checked my toes and tried to make eye contact so she could come back. After another 10 mins of sitting and trying to get her attention, she came back and I asked if I was good to leave. Overall, the 1st nail technician and owner(?) was welcoming when I came in. I liked the color that I got on my nails, but would prefer a different shape and a thinner application of polish. It ended up lifting within a week and peeling off after a week and a half. 2nd technician who did my toes was efficient, but I would have liked some communication about how long to wait and coming back to check on my toes. I will go back and try one more time as my friends highly recommend one of the technicians. read more

Auntie Helen knocked this out of the park. It seems simple to get a long almond/stilleto nail in ballet pink. But it's really not that simple. Helen took her time and attention and executed my request and vision perfectly. She even helped me pick the perfect color when my initial choice was out of stock. 13/10 highly recommend this shop. I got a french gel manicure by Tracy today. I usually come in and get my gel pedicure done by either Kathy or Lisa and they always do such an amazing job. Today I went in for my first manicure in years and I was so happy with the results. Tracy was super honest about realistic expectations with what I wanted, and she did exactly what I asked her to. I'm so happy I love my nails. I've been coming to this place for years and it's always super clean and the people are always really nice ! would recommend! read more

My wife just got a basic manicure. Her nails were left with sharp edges at the sides. They did a very poor job. I did not want gel and picked a color from the board that said gel and regular. Number 150. The lady brought 2 bottles and I believe she was explaining one was gel and one regular. I said fine that's the color I want. She said no not the same as samples. I asked if she could show me colors I could choose from then. She got frantic and explained again about colors on the walls being gel samples but the manufacture made same in regular. I said fine then I want 150. She again said no. Not this color. I asked once more if she could show me colors I could pick from. She started in again on the speech of gel vs regular not being identical to the samples and I said for the third time if she could show me which colors were regular that I could choose from. When she started in once more I walked away. Taking my business elsewhere and will bring my own polish. read more

They did a fantastic job on our nails! Beautiful designs and they lasted a long time: Magnetic Cat Eye Gel. It was a bit pricey at $60 but great quality and long lasting. Large open salon with lots of spaces for manis and pedis, chill and relax vibe. Nice! read more
A review long over due! I love coming to The Valley, it's cemented as my go to place. I've tried others and many are overhyped and a lot more expensive for less quality work. Today I came in for a pedicure with Helen. They take walk ins but I always like to book ahead and now they have booking online available which is awesome. My appointment was for 5pm but they were able to accommodate me earlier which was very much appreciated. They have done a bit of redecorating from the last time I was here and it's gorgeous! There's an entire wall full of colors to choose from! I got the Refresh pedi and got a gel color. If you pay in cash there is a 3% discount and there is an ATM inside. After giving my nails a much needed break, I've returned for my gel mani and pedi's. The place has since gotten a makeover and it looks great! I've recently brought my friend in here too and we both enjoy our girl time in here. The ladies are all very nice and talkative with us. This last time we were both in and out in about an hour and had a fabulous mani and pedi! read more

This place is very welcoming and there are often men here getting manis and pedis. The owner does everything possible to make his customers feel valued. It might make you feel more comfortable if you call ahead and make an appointment.
