I am so happy I discovered this nail salon! Lee the owner is amazing and she deserves all the success in the world. She is extremely hardworking and works 7 days a week yet still has a great attitude and smile on her face. She had to stay an hour extra later than closing time for me and had zero complaints. She was actually grateful that I came in to do both a pedi and new set. I get the most scared when it comes to the drilling tools as I have gotten cut so many times with other nail artists. Lee is SO careful and I've never met someone so careful in my life and I've been doing acrylics for 10+ years just to give you an idea of how many nail salons I've gone through. I feel safe with her and that means a lot. Her shapes are super nice and sharp just like how I like it. She fulfills all of my requests such as thinner nails. My nails haven't lifted and lasts up to a month. Her prices are very fair. A new ombre coffin medium length set was $75. The ladies that does the pedicures are also very sweet and detailed. Yikes!! Not friendly at all and the lady doing my pedicure was extremely rough where it was not relaxing one bit.

Came here recently to try a new spot and I loved my nails. The lady was kind and my nails have lasted 3 weeks with no chips, cracks, or broken nails. I liked that she took her time to perfect my nails but I also didn't have to sit there for 2 hours, she was quick and efficient :) I will be back! read more

The place is small with limited parking right out front but it's very nice super clean and warm inviting. The ambiance is pretty and with the window front makes the temperature just right inside. I was kindly greeted and stated my service which was an overlay. My nails were very short and uneven, the nail tech did a really good job! She was nice, clean tools, good advice and gentle. I would definitely recommend this place I paid $70 for an overlay with French, again my nails were challenging so I didn't mind paying. Oh lastly, the nail tech was very professional and held a very professional conversation not like most nail techs who ask all about your personal life. read more

I'm so happy I found Lee at Hand Candy Nail Spa. This place is extremely clean and in the best location. I've been to a few nail spots in Willow Glen and this is by far the best. I've had gel manicures and gel pedicures done here and I've always left super happy. I also want to note that my gel manicure actually comes with a manicure. I've had gel manicure services done elsewhere and they usually don't cut my cuticles and this place does a really great job and making sure your natural nails are healthy and your cuticles are healthy. My nails have also lasted the longest when getting them done by Lee. I'm a hairstylist and disinfection and sanitation are super important to me, and this place meets all of my standards. I went to get a mani pedi today (8/18/22) and this is my second time coming here. Each time I have walked away very satisfied with the quality and care put into my nails. It was gentle, Clean, beautiful, and smooth nails. No leftover debris under the nails. Just clean and smooth. She tried and did her best to my request. Lee is highly skilled, I've had 3 appts. with her and I'm always happy -I get a powder fill and pedicure every 3-4 weeks, plus brow waxing service. She's very friendly, takes really good care of her clients -her salon is always very clean, organized and the location is perfect! Parkin get a little snug but there's plenty of street parking nearby. I know Lee and her other nail technician get very busy on Fridays and weekends, so I try to go on off days like Tuesday and Wednesday. I experienced an okay service, nails were not 100% percent to my liking ..they were coated with a powder , They were way to thick they looked fat , I've been to many nails salons so, I know how I like my nails to look, thin and not thick.. They looked to cakey. I asked for Acrylic nails, Coffin style semi medium length.. & she charged 65$ like what!!! one freaking color style ! Very overpriced for a simple nail color . Next time I'm going to KN Nails over on Alma ave in San Jose..They do an amazing job Beautiful Detailed Designs on nails for such a fair price ! Le gives a wonderful pedicure with an amazing massage! She learned my name right away and even remembered me (with a mask on) when I popped by a few weeks later to make another appointment. This salon is brand new and opened on July 1st, 2021. It's clean, has awesome massage chairs and a great color selection. I mention the date it opened because the owner doesn't have a full staff yet but she said she is currently trying to hire.
